I found that I liked this tea significantly more iced than hot, it seemed to be a little bit too sweet when hot. Other than that I was quite fond of this tea.
This natural sweetness and low tannin content ensure a smooth, never bitter brew that requires little if any, sweetener. Like red rooibos, it is also naturally caffeine-free and great plain or flavored, hot or iced for anytime enjoyment.

This is an excellent caffeine-free substitute for green tea, with the same kind of flavor and body as green tea. It would make a good afternoon tea.
This is the best rooibos by far. Its very light, less acidic, and bitter (low tannins). My intuitive reasoning believes this has more health benefits than a oxidized regular rooibos.
I bought this for a friend, and she says: 'Oh wow I really love this a lot. It has a deep, woodsy taste that is really great for cold days. The warmth of it settles into your bones and it's lovely. '
I've never been to the African Savannah, but the impression I have of it is strongly evoked by this tea's flavor and scent. When I drink it, I can almost see fields of dry grass if I close my eyes. I imagine this would be a great platform for subtle fruit flavors, and am looking forward to trying the some green rooibos blends.
Like the regular rooibos tea this has many health benefits which is why i love it . im always looking for ways to prolong my life ,
Green tea can be too mellow for my taste buds sometimes, but this one tasted great. It was so good that I didn't have to worry about adding any sugar.
I love this iced with some mango ice cubes. I mix it with the rooibos tropics. Yum!
A very nice mellow taste, reminds me of real teas but without the bitterness
not bad straight, but great to blend with herbals
I wasn't crazy about it at first, but I just had my second cup and I'm enjoying it more now. It's a light flavor, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I imagine it would be good cold too.
Edit: The more I drink this, the more I like it. I definitely prefer it to normal rooibos. It tastes nice with half of sugar I usually put in my tea.
Its quite good, definetly better than red rooibos.
Lovely! Light and sunny, sweet like fresh dried hay. The nose is not unlike green tea but it will never be bitter. I only wish it were a little stronger. I may have to use more of it per cup.
This rooibos is not as flavorful as the red roiboos, and I would not purchase again.
This is a sweet grassy tea which is good on it's own, but even better when mixed with Honeybush.
I love green rooibos! It's the most ... tea-like scented of the selection I've got, and I love to mix it with everything. It's refreshing and has opened my mind up to rooibos in general.
Excellent tasting for a decaf tea, will be ordering again.
I personally prefer the normal rooibos, but it does have a nice light tannin to it. Not very good iced.
Not very good. Reminds me of cheap bagged iced tea. Does have an interesting grassy taste though.
The flavors are similar to regular rooibos but with a slightly mustier taste. It's good but I would pick standard rooibos anyday.
Wild. rayzee aroma that is somehow totally rooibos but is totally not. itrus like flavours shine amidst this odd floral,[dare I say lactic] creaminess that is obviously what rooibos tastes like before it gets oxed to the red. Brews strong and mildly tangy, lovely coloured tisane.
Really nice when wanting something different from tea. Much sweeter and less than bitter than red rooibos or even honey bush.
Interesting tea! The taste is similar to red but more citrusy and not as 'warm'. The taste is very clean and crisp with hints of hay. The brewed color is a bright gold.
The only problem is that the tea did not seem very fresh. it was very dry and dusty leading me to believe that it was at least a year old. Perhaps I just got the bottom of the bag, but the quality was not what I had expected
I tried a sample out of curiosity, and while I did enjoy it, I don't think I would reorder.
This rooibos is a makes for a good nightcap, really calms and settles you down from a long day. It's a good tea for mixing with others like chamomile. elicious!
When I'm in the mood for something not quite as earthy at red rooibos, this green version is excellent.
I find most rooibos to spicy or overpowered, but this is great. Its the perfect balance.
This is my first rooibos and it was ok very weak in taste I steeped it per the suggestion and it was weak.I'm sure this is great as a mix in with other tea tho so I will be trying that.but on it's own and at $7 for 3oz I can get 3.2oz cheaper once u add cost and shipping.glad I just had a sample
The flavour was decent, but I still prefer the red rooibos.
Really interesting taste, almost reminds me of a Ceylon or Darjeeling with a tiny bit of rooibos taste at the end. Very earthy, needs just a bit of sugar.
Good, but I expected more. I think I will try this over ice next, as it was very refreshing, but was the lightest tasting tea I have ever had. I was expecting a flavor heavier than a light green or white, and did not find it.
It's a much lighter tea than the red, oxidized variety. During the winter, I prefer the red, but the green does make a refreshing iced tea for the summer.
I'm not really a huge fan of green teas, but this one was alright.
Unbelievable flavor. I was surprised to find how much I appreciate the flavor of this tea as I am an avid red rooibos drinker.
My first time with green rooibos, so far so good. It reminds me of a mild genmaicha, so I think I'll use this as an alternative when I want some green tea-ish flavor but not the caffeine before bedtime.
this rooibos is a makes for a good nightcap, really calms and settles you down from a long day. Delicious!
I hadn't tried green rooibos before, and I was pleasantly surprised. It's kind of hard to describe...has a very slight genmai cha flavor (toasted rice).
I much enjoy this variety over the usual red rooibos. The flavor is a little more 'green' like a regular tea and doesn't need any kind of flavoring like the red to make it good. A good decaf hot or cold.
I'm not a huge fan of this tea, too much of a plant taste for me.
Very smooth green tea, great with a little agave nectar or on its own. So glad that Adagio sent this as a free sample!
I was unsure as to whether or not I was going to enjoy green rooibos without the blended-in flavors such as the key west, citron and bonita green rooibos' I have tried from Adagio. However I was very surprised when I tried my first cup of plain green rooibos because it was absolutely delicious! I have noticed that when I drink rooibos daily my skin complexion improves. I have mixed the red rooibos with the green rooibos and it is a great combination!!
A nice, smooth, 'fresh' and crisp tasting tea.. a bit fruity and vegetal too. rather bland on it's own but with a teaspoon of stevia I found it to be quite enjoyable.
'Different' and good when you dont want the usual. Retains a decent taste when it cools down.
Good stuff. You can't beat the health benefits, and the taste is great for when you're trying to dodge caffeine at the end of the day.
Not my favorite, but decent. Like all other roobios I've tried, gets stuck in all strainers, no matter how small the holes.
An interesting change from red rooibos. This doesn't do a whole lot for me plain, but I plan on trying some flavored green rooibos varieties down the road.
I like this tea. It's mild but still flavorful. I usually let it steep for 5 minutes and add a little bit of milk.
Prefer the red and was expecting a less bitter taste but it's more green plant tasting
This tea has a nice fruity flavor with a bit of a sweet finish.
A very smooth tea with a good mellow flavor. I just ordered a large bag. That was a very hard decision because I so love the keywest and the bonita. I thought it would be nice to have a non-flavored tea for a change. ... we'll see.
Flavor is more lacking compared to the oxidized rooibos and honeybush. It's really good with lemon, so I'm rating it as 4/5.
