I tried this tea after becoming obsessed with the almond oolong, and I wasn't disappointed!

★★★★☆

Interesting flavor for sure! Not my usual (oolong) but I enjoy it each time I choose it.

The vanilla is very subtle but there. The second steep though was weak but the vanilla was still there. I really don't know how you can second steep this when the taste is weaker than the first and that one is pretty weak. Like the peach, this sample will be lasting me a long time as well.

Wonderful smooth flavor. Perfect on a cold winter’s morning.

★★★★★

Love the vanilla flavor in this Oolong tea. It smells so good.

★★★★★

I got this one to mix with the Cocoa I brew and it was fantastic. It is also great for creating your own Chai tea blends

★★★★★

I love this tea. Very good taste! I have had this every morning for a week!..

★★★★★

Add this to many chai teas and love this with cream with most chais

★★★★★

Warm and creamy, true vanilla flavor without overpowering. This tea has grown on me, each drink becoming more delicious and soothing. Vanilla Oolong is now my go-to afternoon tea.

In the bag, lovely vanilla (I LOVE the adagio vanilla flavor), but the oolong has a bit of a dirt smell that is showing up under the vanilla. It's a bit unpleasant. Once brewed, just vanilla, no dirt smell. Tastes like sweet vanilla. Yummy! Followed brewing instructions and had hot and cold. Just a lovely vanilla black tea. I think this is better than the other vanilla flavored tea, it has a more prominent vanilla taste. Would recommend!

The actual oolong in this is good but nothing special. However, the vanilla really plays well with the dry leaves and forest-like notes of the dark oolong. This really hits the spot on a chilly day.

★★★★★

I loved this tea -- the light Oolong flavor tempered with vanilla. I will buy this again.

★★★★★

Great flavors, the hints of vanilla really pull through on this tea, making me think that it could even qualify as a desert tea...

I will be buying again.

This tea is so good. I would highly recommend mixing it with the almond black tea for a delicious creamy mix perfect for a cloudy day.

Love this tea, add some to Marsala chai and it's amazing!

Absolutely love it. I was surprised at how tasty it is. One of my favorites; I just ordered more

One of my favorite teas. It tastes like a vanilla cupcake. I would say the caffeine is a bit weak.

★★★☆☆

I thought it had a birch beer odor in the bag. It has a nice oolong flavor but no matter how I steeped it I never got a vanilla flavor from it. It also left a metallic taste in my mouth that I found to be unpleasant.

It's more vanilla than oolong. The vanilla tastes pretty artificial too, but if you're down for that kind of flavor then it's pretty decent.

I like this flavored Oolong better than just the plain, such as Milk Oolong. I like it with a splash of milk and vanilla syrup to really bring out the vanilla flavor.

★★★★★

This is excellent! Nice warming vanilla flavor that isn’t overpowering and subtle cocoa notes that round out the tea. Will be adding this to my wishlist!

Smells a bit medicinal in the bag, but doesn t taste that way at all. Wonderfully sweet, I like to mix it with the almond oolong.

★★★☆☆

I like this oolong but think it would be great mixed in with other flavors.

★★★★☆

Really good. I've only tasted a few oolongs and this one has a nice mellow flavor. The vanilla makes this a great tea for enjoying along side a pastry or cookie.

I enjoyed this tea, light vanilla on the palate. Good oolong

This is a very smooth and delicious tea. The oolong means its not bitter, and the vanilla adds just a little something extra on top of the standard flavor of tea

This is a repeat tea for me - and one that I enjoy! It is a nice light oolong with a subtle and slightly sweet flavor. Good for any time of day and doesn't need additives like milk or sugar unless you want to - in which case it will tolerate it well. This one is on my re-order list.

Adagio has great oolong teas, both flavored and not, and the vanilla is very good as well.

★★★★★

I actually detected heavy chocolate notes when I opened this CommuniTEA packet. Once brewed I both tasted and smelled the vanilla. I was nervous I would not like it since this was an oolong, but I actually enjoyed it. I am still on the fence if I would purchase this though. It did not make the wish list.

Great vanilla tea. Steep for 2.5 minutes for a great vanilla flavor

★★★★★

I really loved this tea. Super mellow oolong with a good amount of vanilla flavor. This is a great tea to expose non-tea drinkers to. Very appealing.

★★★★☆

The touch of vanilla made this oolong more smooth and rounded out the earthiness. Really enjoyed it! (CommuniTEA)

★★★★★

I think this one's really nice! A very pleasant, cheerful flavor. I'm starting to think that I just don't like the basic black tea Adagio uses in their flavored black teas, but flavored oolongs, greens, white, and rooibos/honeybush are great!

★★★★☆

The packet smelled like a good marshmallow. The vanilla really came through hot, but didn't work well iced.

★★★★★

Lovely, uncomplicated tea that is like a warm hug. Smells heavenly out of the package and while steeping. The oolong is mellow, and the tea is smooth and sweet with distinct vanilla notes. As a vanilla-lover, I think that vanilla makes everything taste better! This tea would be great to blend with spicy or fruity teas. I found that steeping at 200 degrees for 3 minutes was perfect. A tiny bit of sweetener enhances the vanilla flavor. A second, untimed steep was just as flavorful.

Delicious! These oolong blends are always a hit for me. The vanilla flavor combined nicely with the oolong to create a smooth, strong vanilla-flavored tea. I steeped the leaves twice for two tasty cups. (2 min @195°F & 3 min @ 195°F)

Reviewed as part of the communiTEA: I do love a good cup of oolong!

I really like this tea! It's simple, but has a good flavor. The vanilla is strong enough to be a distinguishable flavor without being overwhelming.

Very nice vanilla flavor. I added some sugar and a cinnamon and it was amazing! I brewed it at a lower temp, maybe about 185, and it was perfect.

★★★★☆

I enjoyed this oolong as a latte and sampled this Tea as part of the CommuniTEA December box.

I brewed mine at a lower temperature than the Communitea packet recommended since 212 seemed too high for an oolong. I ended up with a nice uncomplicated tea. The vanilla isn't too overwhelming and a bit of sugar helps round out the flavors.

★★★★★

Steeped at 200, then added a good deal of sweetener and milk. Look, today I wasn't in the mood for complexity, and this tea was simply warm, friendly and accommodating. 'Oh, you just wanna relax with something creamy and vanilla-y? That's alright, I am HERE for you!' I'm sure there's a great deal of nuance to this oolong, but for what I wanted today? Perfection.

Mixed feelings about this, this is the first vanilla tea that I've enjoyed from Adagio, but the oolong itself doesn't really do it for me. It tastes almost watery, but the vanilla flavor is nice and sweet, like a frosting. Nowhere near my favorite kind of oolong, but I'll finish my cup.

★★★★★

The vanilla smelled so good!! It wasn't overdone and it was a delightful cup of tea.
