★★★☆☆

The vanilla fragrance is very strong, but the flavor leaves something to be desired. I highly recommend a longer brewing time that you would use for other teas, as the flavor strengthens significantly

Definitely one of my favorites of the recent batch of samples I've ordered. Its very rich and warm and smooth. While I wouldn't say it reminds me of cookies, it is very sweet on its own, and I like that in a tea.

★★★★☆

This was my first experience with oolong! Perhaps it wasn't the best starter oolong, but it was definitely interesting. It didn't have as much body as I'm used to, but it smelled lovely the entire time. To me, the best part was that it had a slightly. . .mystical. . .aftertaste, rather like dragon's hearts and ancient mysteries. It's grown on me, though!

This is my favorite vanilla tea EVER. I want to drink it everyday with everything!

★★★★★

This tea is really exceptional, I love it in the mornings.

★★★★☆

This is my first time trying a high quality oolong. I enjoyed the mineral quality of the tea - it makes an interesting background note to the flavor. The tea smells quite vanilla in the bag. I added a good bit of agave nectar to it to bring out the vanilla flavor once brewed. It seemed to disappear a bit. However, I will note that I oversteeped it. I definitely like this one for blending purposes.

I haven't tasted too many oolong teas, but I really like this one. The vanilla hint is great.

★★★★★

this tea was very smooth wish i ordered more of it

★★★★★

This smells really strongly of vanilla, but the flavor is much less pronounced. I like this tea better than it's black counterpart, which I feel can get a bit astringent at times.

★★★★☆

It does taste like a sugar cookie if you sweeten with honey. I'm liking this one more and more.

★★★★☆

The oolong flavor is quite distinct - almost to the point of overpowering the vanilla. It's almost a borderline 'okay' for me because it really could use a stronger vanilla taste. if you're looking for a really vanilla-y tea, then virtually any of the vanilla teas (black, decaf, green, even rooibos, though rooibos vanilla is a very different flavor of vanilla) will provide a stronger vanilla taste. This is a nice mixing tea, though, and good either iced or hot - I tend to prefer it iced.

I loved the smell of vanilla when I first opened the bag. The taste was a little disappointing, mainly because I love stronger flavors and this one didn't seem to cut it for my taste buds. I am slowly getting a taste for lighter flavors though. So really it wasn't too bad. I quite liked it.

★★★★★

This is an excellent vanilla tea. Oolong and vanilla is a good combination, in my opinion. Great with sugar and cream.

★★★★☆

my nose is pretty stuffed up from having a summer cold, but so far i can say this tea is pretty good. nice flavor and the vanilla isn't to overpowering.

Tastes great with just a hint of sugar! Great for anytime of the day.

★★★★☆

This was pretty good. I didn't really get an oolong flavor. It taste more like a black tea minus the kick and bitterness. The flavoring is good though. This smells exactly like sugar cookies and the vanilla was strong and present as well. Can't wait to see how this does in my blends.

This is so creamy and smooth. By far my favorite oolong that I've ever had. With a little milk and sugar it's so divine.

Opening this bag gets you a vanilla punch to the face. Brewing it gives you an oolong with natural vanilla flavor. I thought this would have more of a sweetness to it than it did. I wouldn't say it really has much sweetness at all though it isn't 'bitter'. I would describe it more as the dryness that vanilla extract tends to have. It's decent but I probably wouldn't buy it again.

★★★☆☆

The tea itself seems nice but it is so hidden underneath the artificial vanilla flavor, I couldn't enjoy it.

★★★★★

This is seriously like warm sugar cookies. It's funny that even though this has a mild scent, it's way more powerful than regular vanilla tea and blends super well with other teas. Couldn't ask for something better. :)

★★★☆☆

The vanilla adds a subtle sweetness to an otherwise sadly unremarkable tea. The delightful vanilla smell of the dry tea completely disappears upon brewing.

I tried this tea after taking some medication that leaves an unpleasant taste in my mouth. Using my imagination, it seems drinkable with 3 sugar cubes. Promise to update my review when my palate is clean.

I brewed this for the recommended four minutes and it came out very bitter - I would definitely recommend a shorter steeping time or cooler water. The smell out of the bag is absolutely exquisite, like sugar cookies and white chocolate, but there's not a lot of vanilla flavor in the actual brewed tea. I needed to add sugar and half-and-half to make this drinkable, but with those two, it's a pleasant tea, although a bit earthy for my tastes.

★★★★★

Very interesting! The vanilla flavor is pillowy soft and delectably sweet. The oolong tea tastes noticeably drier and woodier. I might be detecting the subtle fruit notes that are natural to oolongs, but if I am, they're definitely more like dried fruits than fresh. I could wish that the oolong tea and the vanilla flavor were just a bit more harmonious, but despite the fact that I taste the two quite separately, they don't make for an unpleasant cup. I really enjoyed this cuppa!

This made a good iced tea, and while my parents enjoyed it, it wasn't really for me. Great resteep quality-- I got about four steeps out of it each time. I unfortunately didn't get any of the 'intense sugar cookie' flavor the other reviewers talked about, which saddens me because that's part of what made me buy it.

I like the fluffy vanilla flavor of this oolong. I do like sweet teas and vanilla is one of my favorite scents. The experience of this is fresh and comforting.

★★★★★

Very good, and will taste even better blended with some herbal fruit teas, iced.

★★★★★

Definitely one of my favorite teas of all time, good for mixing with others and standing by itself. It combines the natural sweetness of vanilla and the complexity of oolong in a wonderful tea experience.

★★★★★

Very nice tea. I expected an 'in-your-face' sort of vanilla taste because the smell in the bag is rather strong. But I was pleasantly surprised that this has a rather delicate vanilla smell and taste to it after it's brewed.

★★★★★

Really good! Not sure if I prefer this over the Honeybush Vanilla, but still awesome!

★★★★★

ITs pretty awesome. I was hesitant when I purchased this tea, but have no regrets

★★★★☆

This tea is really smooth and very yummy. It tastes very sweet, so I don't think you'd need any sweetener.

This definitely needs some sugar to bring out the vanilla, but other than that it's nice. It does kind of taste like sugar cookies - the vanilla is a complementary flavor, not the main event, and the oolong brings toasty leafy flavors to the tea.

A great sweet oolong tea, perfect for an afternoon treat or anytime really.

★★★☆☆

Not my favorite. I think that may just be personal preference, but the vanilla seemed a little fake tasting, but I made some for a friend, and she loved it.

★★★★★

The vanilla blend with oolong was perfect. I love this tea, it's my favorite so far.

This is one of my favorite teas! I don't really add any milk or sugar to my tea, but I think this would handle some milk nicely. The vanilla is not overpowering, just enough to blend nicely. I originally bought a sample size but I'm going to reorder a much larger portion next time.

The aroma of this tea is so deliciously creamy! It reminds me of vanilla cookies baking. The taste is pleasantly mild blending a rich, earthy Oolong with the creamy vanilla making a very balanced blend.

This tea is a dieter's dream come true! It smells fabulous, and it tastes wonderful! Simply sitting curled up with a cup and inhaling the steam was some of the best aromatherapy I have ever had, and the tea is delicious. I don't usually sweeten my tea, and I added no sweetener to this. That said, it would definitely taste like a full-on dessert if you did.

★★★★☆

This tea is pretty good I wish it had a stronger vanilla flavor to it though.

★★★★★

This is a delicious, snack kind of tea. It smells very strong of vanilla (obviously) and has a pretty strong flavor. It truly is like a warm sugar cookie in your mouth! Definitely one I will buy again!

★★★☆☆

Not as good as I expected on it's own, but tastes great when blended with other teas, especially when iced. You'll just have to experiment to fint how you enjoy it best.

★★★★☆

This tea is delicious! I love the strong vanilla flavor, and the aroma is incredible. The only thing I'm not quite so happy about is that this tea oversteps very easily. I like my tea strong, but this one becomes nearly undrinkable if you leave the tea bag (I buy empty ones and fill them myself) in the whole time you drink the tea like I tend to. Other than needing to be careful with the steeping time, this is an excellent tea.

This tea tastes amazing! I wish it had a little bit more of a vanilla kick but delicious none the less! I will most definitely be getting more of this tea :)

Loved it! Great flavor, definitely is making me a fan of oolong

★★★★☆

Smells like fig newton bars, but tastes like great creamy oolong! It's great iced.

★★★★★

Smells like Vanilla tastes like honey and Brown sugar, great smooth flavor, lingering fragrance - classical Oolong taste. Bitter with a balance.. Don't think Vanilla..Think, Oolong palet buster!

They weren't kidding about fresh sugar cookies! The vanilla is mainly found in the aroma - the tea itself is light and not too sweet (as someone who enjoys black tea).

This is the best vanilla oolong I've tasted from any tea place. :)
