This tea is fantastic! I've been meaning to write a review on it but I've been too busy drinking my tea to actually do it. It has a rich aroma with warm vanilla undertones. I could smell this tea all day, well I could smell any tea all day, but this one would be my first choice. The taste is very smooth, no overpowering vanilla fighting against the tea. They blend very nicely. I got this as a free sample added onto an order but as soon as I get paid again I'm ordering a bigger size!

★★★★★

Super smooth, especially with cream or milk added to it!

★★★★★

Love this! Mixing it with some other oolongs (such as the peach) is a recipe for greatness.

★★★★☆

The vanilla teas from adagio are a little hit and miss but this one is pretty good. Definitely much better than the vanilla rooibos. This is a great tea for blending, too.

One of the first teas I tried and it has a great taste.

★★★★★

So good. This tea has that classic vanilla aroma/flavor, but it's very light. With cream and sugar it tastes like a cookie.

★★★★★

Like the peach oolong, I was able to try this because a local grocery store had it. Love it. Smooth and creamy, without being overbearing. I'm really starting to enjoy oolong, and can't wait to dive into the other samples I've ordered when they get here.

★★★★★

Always fantastic. This has been a favorite of mine for many years. It's good on it's own and wonderful to mix with other teas. Gives them a rich, calming flavor. Very smooth, no bitterness.

Oh my goodness this tea is so yummy! At first sniff, it smells of vanilla cake, chocolate raisins, or something else I've smelled before, but the taste is absolutely different. Definitely another favorite for me.

I forgot to put sugar in my cup, and it didn't even matter! It tastes great with or without sugar. Smells wonderful, too.

★★★★★

Delicious! Almost the reverse of the Flavored Black Vanilla - not particularly fragrant but the flavor is perfect! So sweet it takes very little sugar, if any at all. Reminiscent of your favorite baked good with vanilla sugar replaced in the recipe.

★★★★★

A wonderful, pleasant, and sweet vanilla flavor. Love this one!

★★★☆☆

I was a little disappointed by this tea. It didn't have too strong a flavor, but it was alright with some milk. Won't be ordering again, but it's not horrible.

★★★★★

I really like Adagio's oolongs! I would recommend a little sugar with this one.

★★★★★

I love mixing this with a little of the peach ooloong and a touch of honey. Lasts three infusions- long enough to get me through the workday!

★★★★☆

It is a nice mellow blend, with a subtle vanilla flavor. Goes great with some milk and sugar in the evening time.

Quite honestly, this is one of my favorite teas hands down! Absolutely LOVE IT! And with a dash of cream...it's to die for!

I did not like it by itself, it needed sweetener. I used Monk Fruit and enjoyed it. I think I might try some other teas before ordering this one again. I am not a huge oolong fan, but if I was, I would probably like this one more.

★★★☆☆

While this tea wasn't horrible, I found that I wasn't crazy for the vanilla combined with the oolong. The vanilla seemed to drown out the natural flavors of the oolong a bit too much for this to be a regular part of my tea selection.

★★★★★

Wonderful blend! Good for a cold winter morning. Best around the holiday season.

★★★★☆

Smells almost exactly like sugar cookies coming out of the package, just a step short of being overpowering (Personally, I loved it. my boyfriend thought it was a bit much). The smell is less sharp and much nicer when its brewing, the little bit of earthiness coming through beneath the vanilla.

I used a bit of sugar and milk in mine, and I like it quite a bit. Its a nice sweet taste without being cloyingly so, and its lovely on a chilly, rainy night.

This tea featured a fantastically smooth, almost nutty flavor. The vanilla accents really lent a unique taste to this blend.

★★★★★

Smells warm and vanilla in the bag. like fresh cookies. Really great vanilla flavour, but not too sweet, that comes out in the tea. Warm and happy. a go-to favourite!

This is a delicious tea. I wish the vanilla was just a little stronger. But overall, very good!

★★★★☆

A very tasty oolong. I can't find anything about it that I dislike.

★★★★☆

This tea is very smooth and pleasant, but despite smelling overpoweringly like vanilla frosting in the bag, it tastes very little like vanilla. Adding a splash of milk does emphasize the vanilla some. I wish the taste came through a bit better.

I was pleasantly surprised by this tea. The smell is artificial and off putting when you're first measuring out your cup, however it fades much quicker than I had expected it to. This is a rather sweet tea with a very faint vanilla flavor. While I imagine this tea would be fantastic with a slightly stronger vanilla taste, as it is it's very nice. I drank mine plain, however I imagine with a dash of milk or cream this would be a wonderful 'dessert-y' brew.

This is a very good oolong. It has a light vanilla taste. I blend it with the Wild Strawberry herbal. it has become one of my favorite teas.

★★★☆☆

The smell from the bag was fantastic! After brewing though, the smell dies down. I was really confused when I tasted it, the flavour was so weak...it honestly felt like drinking hot water even with 2 teaspoons.

★★★★☆

In the bag this tea smells as sweet and creamy as everyone has mentioned. sugar cookies are definitely an apt comparison. I have a tendency to oversteep my teas, so this may be part of my taste experience, but once brewed it really unlocks the earthy, almost bitter tea taste of the oolong. The first few hot sips also focus on this damp, foliage flavor (not bad), with an aftertaste of smooth vanilla cream. As it cooled it was creamier, and I found I liked it better with a dash of sugar. Overall a nice surprise.

★★★☆☆

If a tea ever smelled like vanilla/white cake batter, this is it! However, none of that really translated into the tea as I was drinking it. it was mostly earthy oolong. Oolong is delicious, and I like the idea that it helped tame the sweetness of the vanilla, but there wasn't anything that made it stand out.

★★★★☆

I received this tonight, and this was the first tea of my order that I tried. I was hesitant to order it because vanilla anything can be hit or miss, but this wasn't too bad. The vanilla was slightly underwhelming, but still detectable. Still very enjoyable.

★★★★☆

Very nice well rounded tea. I love vanilla teas so this was right up my alley!

★★★☆☆

The vanilla overpowered the oolong a bit - if you are a vanilla fan, you'll love this. For me, it was a bit too much.

★★★★★

Light flavor, blends well with many other teas.

★★★★☆

I added a bit more vanilla to this as the oolong flavor is a touch overwhelming

★★★★★

My expectations of this tea were high and I have to say I wasn't disappointed in the least. When you open the bag it has a very strong vanilla smell to it but when you brew the tea the flavor mellows out and mixes with the oolong to create a very comforting flavor not unlike a warm sugar cookie. It's not very sweet but definitely good for a dessert tea or any time you have a craving but don't want the calories. I haven't even had my 2oz bag a month and I'm almost out!

Vanilla tea is usually a little overpowering for me butthis one is well balanced.

★★★★★

In the morning, I have the habit of brewing this tea, and then adding a dollop of the most divine vanilla gelato--only then does a hard day seem manageable.

★★★★☆

I tried this both hot and cold, the cold version tasted better. Strong vanilla scent and flavor.

★★★★★

An amazing fall tea. They always run out at my local adagio so I guess it's a well loved tea. It is becoming one of my new staples.

One of my favorite teas. It has a LOT of vanilla flavor, and sometimes I enjoy mixing it with some of my other teas for a little sweetness.

I really appreciate this flavored oolong, especially when I am craving some sugar cookies. Frequently use this in conjunction with other flavored Adagio teas. Nice and smooth. Definitely smells and tastes of warm vanilla cookies.

Yummy. Smooth. I mixed mine with some Marigold petals and it tastes so good :)

★★★★★

The scent of vanilla is really strong but the taste is much more subtle. Since all oolong tastes like shredded wheat to me this is kind of like vanilla frosted mini wheats, that's not a bad thing haha.

My regular morning tea is black flavoured vanilla. When I tried this, I was pleasantly surprised the complex notes of oolong survived the encounter with vanilla. A delightful blend for those of us who enjoy added flavours...but purists may find this tea *too good* for added flavours.

I bought this originally for my dad in an attempt to find him some oolong teas for some skin problems he's always had. He liked it well enough (he certainly emptied the sample pack before I could get to it) but said he definitely preferred the flavor profile of the peach oolong to the vanilla, as the vanilla flavor was not really strong enough for him to taste...

★★★★★

This is my second cup so I think I'm still getting to know it. Te smell is great but I guess I'm not used to the bitterness of oolong. I choose this type because I thought it might not be as strong as black tea, the verdict is still out. But it is good and I'm not giving up on it!
I now use it as a base but mix it with another type, usually a roobos. It has good flavor that way but not overpowereing. I am more of a weak tea person but I want all the flavor!

★★★★★

After only one sip, this tea became my favorite. In the bag and in the cup it smells divine. Sweet and smooth vanilla with earthy undertones. Wonderful on it's own, but the flavor comes out even more with the addition of sweeteners or cream/milk.

This is just the best tea for any time of day. It's just right for me, unsweetened.
