Oolong can be an acquired based on the fact that it can be bitter. If you want to try an oolong for the first time but go with the Vanilla. I never put things like honey or sugar in my teas. I like to taste the tea.
Pay attention to the brewing time.

Creamy, smooth with sweet honey notes this is both delicious and indulgent. This may just find a place beside my favorite chai during the winter season.

This is a subtle vanilla flavor, letting the oolong taste come through. I steeped mine a little longer to increase the sweetness, and it was perfect.

A strong oolong taste, but with a hint of sweetness. Very good.
★★★★★
Have not tried this tea yet but I am sure it is as good as the vanilla green.

Lovely tea! It took a bit to figure out the right temp and time but worth the wait!
★★★★★
Definitely one if my favorites! Slightly sweet. a great tea for a pick me up
★★★★★
A nice smooth tea with just a touch of vanilla. It's light enough that I can drink it anytime, any place but sturdy enough that I don't feel like I'm drinking hot water (which some lighter oolongs and white tea's have felt like).
★★★★★
Drinking this is like eating warm cookies right out of the oven. I really don't know what else to say -- it's smooth, relaxing, doesn't turn bitter, is good for at least two 12-oz steeps. I've loved every vanilla tea I've tried from Adagio.

This was okay but I didn't taste any vanilla. So it pretty much just tasted like plain oolong tea which is good but not what I was going for. Needs a ton more vanilla flavor!!!
★★★★★
I shared this with my friends and co-workers and they absolutely loved it. I know many people have said that it tastes like warm sugar cookies, but to me, it's more along the lines of vanilla cake batter.
★★★★☆
Not as intensely vanilla as the rook is vanilla, but still a good strong vanilla tea in its own right.
★★★★☆
This is a very mild oolong. While the aroma of this tea is quite strong, I found that there wasn't a lot of corresponding flavor. But still a nice tea.
★★★★☆
I love this tea to blend with the thai chai. It makes a delicious vanilla coconut tea! Every blend I've had with has been delicious. It is very smooth.

The description is spot on! My new favorite vanilla tea by far. Tastes just like vanilla cookies and the smell is delicious. Definitely buying a larger size next time!
★★★★★
Very smooth and velvety. Some of the best vanilla tea I've had.
★★★★★
This is simply delicious. It's a little sweet, and nutty.
★★★★☆
I have always preferred fruity teas but I would buy this again. The vanilla flavor was light but I did enjoy it. I would probably buy this again.

Far better than the vanilla black tea. This one is great for mixing!
★★★☆☆
This tastes similar to the almond oolong. The taste is good but I don't think I'll get it again.

The only oolong I like with a touch of honey! Oh my it's so good! Medium body with a mild dry finish. This still has the nice earthy undertones of a high quality oolong but with nuances of vanilla that leave you wanting more and more. Adagio pulls it off once again. Fav!

I've never tried a vanilla oolong before but I love oolong tea. The adagio vanilla oolong is fantastic. It is my favorite tea now. The vanilla is so warm and inviting added to the great tasting oolong. I know you'll love it.
★★★★☆
This tea is okay. I'm not a fan of how artificial the vanilla tastes, but for my personal taste, I'm sure this would be better in blends than standalone.
★★★★☆
I purchased this for blending. It has a nice baking vanilla scent and flavor.

I am so happy with this tea! When I opened the bag, it smelled just like cupcakes. Brewed, it is very smooth and creamy, with a rich vanilla taste. With a splash of milk and a sprinkle of sugar, it's almost a dessert.
I will definitely be ordering more of this, and I expect it'll be replacing my morning coffee.

I kept drinking fruity oolong so I needed a change. This was it! Such a warm, subtle taste. The vanilla isn't too strong, it's just right.
★★★★☆
If you like vanilla, then this tea is definitely for you! The aroma is strong, more along the lines of vanilla extract than a vanilla candle. The aftertaste is sweet, and far from subtle. As a hot tea, I found it to be a bit too intensely vanilla, but iced it is delicious. I also used it in baking vanilla cookies and they turned out wonderful as well.

This has a lovely fragrance. The vanilla is not overpowering, but it adds a nice touch to an already fabulous oolong tea.
★★★★★
WOW! This is my favorite tea that I have ever had. Its flavorful but not overwhelming.
★★★★★
Wow, this may be my new favourite tea. It smells like a cupcake right out of the bag, and it steeps very well. It is a soft light taste that even after steeping, still tastes like a cupcake. This is a beautiful dessert tea.

An excellent calming taste. I love vanilla flavor that hints with the oolong.
★★★★☆
good flavor, took a little longer to steep than it said on the package but overall good quality tea!

I prefer unflavored oolong, but this was pretty good for something different.
★★★★★
The vanilla is rather subtle, and I like that. I am a big oolong fan, so this is definitely going to be one of my go-to teas.

I got this as a free sample, and usually I'm a bit of a 'purist' with my teas and don't like added flavors, but this tea ended up being a fairly pleasant surprise. Opening the bag I was a bit skeptical because the vanilla smell is REALLY strong. It smelled like opening a bag of vanilla teddy grahams (which smelled great, but made me wary since it's TEA :P). The vanilla scent wasn't as strong after brewing, though, and the resulting brew had a very pleasing aroma. The only reason I put this as 'good' instead of 'great' is that the taste was a bit weak for me, but I'll play with the steeping time to see if I can get it right if I decide to order some.

I wish the vanilla flavor had come across a bit more, but as it is this is still a fantastic tea with just a hint of vanilla and a smooth, almost nutty taste that I found quite enjoyable. It smells wonderful as well.

Very good. Smooth vanilla flavor. Perfect midday cup.

This was a yummy tea! It smelled of sugar cookies when I opened the bag. The smell mellowed out after I brewed it and actually had a lighter and pleasant sweet taste. A great tea!
★★★★★
Scent is overwhelmingly vanilla, but the taste is much more gentle. Very mellow and slightly sweet. The oolong tastes like the formosa oolong.

Smells like a sugar cookie in the bag, sweet and vanilla-y when brewed. I think I needed more tea in the infuser for the amount of water I had, may adjust review when I make a pot.
★★★★☆
Sweet but not overpowering. No added sweetener needed.
★★★★☆
Smooth, naturally slightly sweet. Definitely recommend this one.
★★★★★
The vanilla oolong is sweet and smooth. It has a wonderful flavor.
★★★★★
Good mixed with just about anything or independent.
★★★★☆
This is very nice. Nothing super exciting or earthshattering, but it's an extremely nice vanilla tea.
★★★★☆
I'm told it was very good by the person who received it as a gift this holiday season.
★★★★★
Love this tea! It reminds me of a french vanilla tea that I used to buy.

Oolong and Vanilla? You can always count me in, Adagio's oolong's are literally the best I've tried and the vanilla flavor only makes it better.
