I don't think I have the knack for brewing oolongs yet, or maybe the combo of vanilla oolong is not for me. It was OK, but I think I prefer the vanilla green.
This tea is amaaaaaazingly delicious. It really does taste like a sugar cookie! Super smooth and all around lovely.
After reading most of the reviews on this tea I wasn't going to expect an overly powering, sugary taste. Instead the tea has a slight roasted, earthy taste and I can definitely see how it can give a depth to various blends of tea. I added a bit of vanilla sugar to it the first time and it was everything I expected. A very good tea overall.
I wish the vanilla flavor was stronger, but it's still a nice tea.

I can't bring myself to like this tea, no matter how hard I try. While it's very soothing and comforting when hot, I just don't enjoy how the vanilla and the oolong blend together. It tastes artificial, too sweet, and overly tannic. Vanilla is a difficult flavor to replicate, so I don't really hold it against them.

When I opened this package, the smell was so wonderful that I was tempted to use it as potpourri rather than tea. The flavor is quite mild and reminds me of the cone part of an ice cream cone. I let it steep for three minutes as recommended, but I might add maybe thirty seconds to it to intensify the flavor. Very smooth taste.
This is one of my favorites. Love it in the morning to take with me to work.
Nice and mellow flavor, great by itself and a wonderful tea to use for blending. I may be slightly addicted to this tea - not as much as chai though!
I definitely get the roasted scent and flavor coming through. the vanilla is barely noticeable until you sweeten it a bit. I like it overall, may get it again. 23-May-14 update. did get it again, liking it even more every time I make it. It makes good iced tea too!

What's not to love, vanilla with an oolong, nice treat for yourself. The color is a nice deep amber and almost as hypnotic as the vanilla.

this was my first foray into oolong teas, I picked up some green attributes and some black. All in all I think it's a pretty tasty tea! the vanilla is fairly subtle (at least mine was) but nice it allowed the oolong to really show through.
I had never tasted vanilla oolong until I ordered it from here. It's definitely my favorite tea. The only way I know how to explain it is that it tastes like how warm would taste if it were a flavor. I drink mine with a little bit of sugar and that's all. I love it.

This is one of my favorites. It really does taste pretty much just like a fresh-baked sugar cookie. Does great with multiple steepings! Looking forward to breaking this out in winter. I feel like it'd be an awesome cold-weather tea.
The aroma is of sickeningly sweet vanilla, as well as the flavor. This has a sicky-sweet, strong vanilla flavor as well. Not my cup of tea, as they say.

This tea smells like sugar cookies. I wish this tea tasted exactly like it smelled. It has light notes of vanilla, which would be paired nicely with a sweet dessert. I liked it in the morning as a sweet treat to start the day! I will order this tea again without a doubt.

I received this as a free sample. I wish I had order this one a full order. The taste is wonderful, almost like a good cream soda. You have an after taste of vanilla a good while after each sip. So if you are a fan of anything like cream soda you should definitely pick a couple ounces of this next time you order.
One of my favorites! Its good hot or cold. I bought the huge bad and shared it with my friends and family during the holiday season and have heard nothing but good reviews from them!
Oolongs in general are amazing, but the smooth vanilla flavor in this is just wonderful!
I finally got around to making this today and oh my goodness, it's so yummy. I put honey in it and it reminds me of like...a drinkable hug. It tastes and smells like cookies or pound cake slathered in vanilla and honey. So yum!

I enjoy a good oolong. Jade Oolong is generally my favorite. However, this tea...Oh goodness. This is my go-to comfort tea. The vanilla flavor makes this tea very warm and cuddly. I agree with some of the other reviewers - I wouldn't mind some extra vanilla. Even still, this tea is like curling up on the couch after a long day at work, sinking into the cushions, propping your feet up, and curling into your most favorite blanket. Mmm, yes.
In the evening with a supper meal, this Vanilla Oolong complements any menu excellently. Give the added 'plus' that the Oolong helps the digestive process along so you don't feel overly full when done eating.
This tea smells wonderful when opened! The vanilla flavor was not overpowering, and was especially delicious when blended with the black caramel tea (but followed the steeping directions on the vanilla oolong)
This is one of my favorite teas. I tried the sampler pack and ordered a larger bag as soon as it was finished. The vanilla balances the oolong just right so that the tea is smooth and just a hint sweet.

I love this tea! Of all that I've tried this is my favorite! The vanilla is not too pronounced, but it adds a nice depth and warmth to the tea. Very smooth and great with some milk/cream.
The fragrance of this tea is enough to sell me on it. It smells like a warm vanilla perhaps with a few traces of cinnamon or cardamom. When the tea is actually steeped, the oolong can take center stage and the vanilla becomes something of a second-fiddle. In turn, a little bit of tea goes a long way when steeping it, so if you don't mind subtlety, you can balance the vanilla better by using less tea.
