A good oolong tea. I don t have any complaints, but I don t find myself craving another cup either. When I do drink it, I enjoy it just fine. Just a good oolong tea.
Legendary and beloved oolong tea from Fujian, China. Warm, soft and soothingly mineral in texture. Notes of toasted walnut and tender collard greens. Intriguing lingering floral aroma, lightly orchid, and gentle astringency. A meditative cup.

A good oolong tea. I don t have any complaints, but I don t find myself craving another cup either. When I do drink it, I enjoy it just fine. Just a good oolong tea.
This is still one of my all-time favorite teas. Slightly sweet, floral but not overwhelmingly so, and re-steeps well. Lovely.
Love this Oolong tea, it replaces the high quality oolong that we used to drink from teavana but this is better and is slightly less expensive. Will buy again
I'm very picky about Oolong Teas this one is one of the few I've found that I can sit down and enjoy throughout the day.
My favorite every day tea. I like to drink this with scones in the morning, and I enjoy it sweetened or not. The flavor is wonderful
Great oolong tea!! Sweet, fresh, floral, great aroma
Great green/earthy oolong. Re steeps very well. Tastes like tea you get at nice chinese restaurants!
This is my first time trying 'real' oolong. I only had the Twinnings packet before. I'm new to tea in general but loved this! It's delicious and tastes way better to me than the packets I've had before.
Lacked flavor or aromatics, not my style of tea. Very green.
Honestly underwhelming even for a green tea, nice aroma though.
This is a good quality Ti Kuan Yin that maintains a full-bodied oolong flavor through many steepings.
so tasty love this tea!!! so great,
I may just not be an oolong fan. I did not like this tea very much. I'm not quite sure how to explain it. Try a sample first if you're uncertain.
A Favorite, delicate and fresh, so tasty throughout the day
I mostly drink black teas, but Ti Juan Yin is making me think I should switch to green.
Tea tastes like any other to Kuan Yin tea. Not my personal favorite.
Good quality oolong, I have had this tea from several sources and vendors and Adagio's does not disappoint. This is a good quality TKY. I find it indistinguishable from the Masters version.
I didn't know what I was getting myself into with this tea. I bought it because I wanted to try an oolong tea. Comparing it to other oolong teas, this one reigns supreme in my book. I was blown away when I brewed the first pot, as it smelled identical to the summer air in my hometown in eastern Washington state. I drank it on a snowy day, and it immediately conjured up the feeling of summer days. No joke, one of the first thoughts that went through my head was, 'I should put on some lighter clothing.' This is a fairly personal response to the tea, so it may not be useful to you, but I'd recommend this tea nonetheless. Also, be aware that the third and fourth brewings are considered to be the best, so don't chuck the leaves after the first or second brewing.
A nice, smooth and well-balanced oolong tea. It's wonderful in the morning or in the evening to offset a heavy supper.
The Iron Goddess is a smooth buttery tea with interesting changes with every steep. I agree with my friends an evening with the Iron Goddess is a must.
There's a lot that doesn't seem to be written in the description/steeping instructions. Really think for people to enjoy oolongs like these should be without sweeteners, and with conscious steep-times, etc.. A teapot with inadequate space for rolled oolong leaves to unfurl will hinder the tea's potential.
Still trying to figure out what the proper timing is for this type, but my preferences lie as follows:
-3 teaspoons (heaping, if you want) in my 300ml pot.
-quick initial rinse with boiling/near-boiling water.
-steeping - 10,15-20 seconds for first steeping (tweak according to tastes!), adjust subsequent steeping times by increasing steeping by 5-15 seconds (tweak according to tastes). i get 4-6, sometimes more pots per session with my 3 teaspoons and it's pretty awesome.
Flavor profile is pretty spot on with the description provided. Nice color, very *green*-tasting, but also very very floral!
First-time purchase from Adagio Teas and am pleased they offer this at such an affordable price-point.
This is a wonderful tea. With a wonderful floral nose
I grew up drinking Teavana and this was the closest tea to Monkey Picked Oolong thanks to the rebound page. It was pretty similar as I drank more of it, it became more familiar.
Loved the Ti Kuan Yin, This is my staple. For the price point, derserves to be staple for oolong fans.
Alone or in a blend... you can't go wrong with this oolong tea. It's the best oolong I've ever had - well worth the cost. A smooth and refreshing oolong tea.
Excellent tea that makes multi cups. A nice rich color to it with a soothing taste.
My new favorite tea. I brew it 3 minutes with boiling water over an ice cube. The beautiful full leaves are good for 3 or 4 infusions.
Great tea. This was my fave tea until I tried the Peach Oolong.
Very nice tea and a change for me as I usually go for the flavored ones.
I find this tea palatable, but I am not a fan of the collard greens flavor, I prefer more floral Ti Kuan Yin's.
I like oolong, but I would not consider myself a connoisseur. This has a very floral nose, but it is very oolong in taste. It reminds me of green jasmine. I am not picking up the walnut or nuttiness given in the description. It is very smooth and crisp.
A really delightful oolong. Very floral aroma, and delicious taste.
This is one of my favorite oolong teas! It's great with a little agave nectar.
Very nice full flavored green Oolong. This one does not have dark roasted flavor, but has a full body. Probably my favorite Oolong at the moment. Definitely a good purchase.
I am so greatful for this tea very wonderful. I am very glad for your business in herbs. Thank you.
I brew this tea gong-fu style for about 20 to 30 seconds and it comes out great. The strength of the brews do not hold up for as many infusions as I would expect. I can definitely taste the collar greens and lighter butter notes. A great oolong for sure.
One of my favorite oolong taste so fresh , you can drink it the morning for more energy
This tea is so good! Very green tea tasting but a richer complex flavor to me. I love that the tea leaves unfurl and look very nice.
Very pleasant oolong tea. Nice color and mild taste.
Love this tea = probably my favorite tea that I've tried from Adagio.
Great flavor. Very mild and light in taste. Perfect for afternoon.
Warm, soothing, medium bodied tea. Nice aroma, perfect amount of astringency, definite but light mineral taste & mouthfeel. Sweet & lingering aftertaste. Great at each of my multiple infusions.
A bit of a green flavor with a somewhat noticeable sweetness to it. My first oolong and quite enjoyable at that. This was from a sample.
Just dug into the 3oz pack I ordered, after finishing off some TGY from elsewhere that had quite the different flavor profile and wasn't all that pleasant...but it was also cheaper. Anyways, first cup, this batch has a much more organic leafy green(not much like any green tea I've had) taste to it, and I'm not noticing the sweetness which I remember from before. The flavor seems to hit instantly, has a smooth mouth feel, and lingers for a good while. Personally not enjoying it as much this time around, though it's not terrible, just surprising flavor, which makes the taste feel rather strong too.
Tasty but honestly expected a bit more flavor on the initial steep (mild grassy and woodsy notes)
Deep earthy flavor that has a lot of complexity to it.
A lovely, mellow tea perfect for enjoying every day!
The aroma of Jasmine is the first thing I noticed. The oolong itself is light and clean. Highly recommend for both new and traveled tea drinkers.
I love this tea! It’s so soothing! Has a perfume after taste but in a good way! It stays with you! I absolutely love it!!!
The quality of this tea varies widely. The sample I received was immaculate -- whole leaves, strong floral notes, good for four or five steepings, delicious to the last drop. So I subscribed to this tea. The first 16oz bag I received was comparable to that initial sample, albeit the floral notes were somewhat diminished. The second bag had no floral notes at all, but was still quite pleasant, and good for 2-3 steepings. The third bag is a dud. The leaves are in a million pieces; even the biggest chunks have tattered edges; and the flavor is nearly bland. The vegetal notes are still there, but the mineral & floral notes are both completely missing. I will look elsewhere for TKY in the future.
A little on the expensive side but I can steep it twice but not 3 times before it loses aroma.
