I really like this tea. mineral & peach (i read apricot in the description, but I get more peach). A bit woodsy too. Very nice. I recommend.

very close to wuyu oolong. rocky and groundy. great!

★★★★★

Very tasty oolong with rich umami and mineral notes. I'd rate it only good for 1 brew, maybe 2 at the conditions I list. I prefer it brewed stronger. Reminiscent of hojicha

my new favorite oolong, re-steeps brilliantly with wonderfully rich mulch and mineral flavors.

Wow! Originally a sample and immediately got more! Fantastic tea, tobacco, earthy, and minerals. High recommend.

I love this tea! It has a very full bodied yet mild flavor. I use a lot of sugar in my tea; I like it sweet. You don't need to use much with this tea. I haven't found the right amount, yet, but I keep dialing back how much I put in as it is very sweet.

★★★★☆

Not much to say, it's a nice tea. One of my repeat buys.

★★★★★

I really, really love this one. It is hearty, earthy, and frankly nearly perfect. It has a very decadent mouthfeel.

Purchased and sent this tea to a friend. I just had a call and he is raving about the tea. Says it's the best he's ever tasted, no bitterness at all and smooth but with very good flavor. Said it has a mineral taste and brews a pretty amber colour. He is very happy with this tea.

Little smokier than I expected (which was FANTASTIC)!

My go to budget oolong. Perfect to throw in a travel mut.

I got many infusions with gong fu style, it had mineral and earthy notes but not astringent

★★★★★

This is my absolute favorite dark oolong tea. It has a balanced medium to light roasty flavor with some woody tones as well. The taste and aroma is also accompanied by some stone fruit notes. What an elegant and sophisticated cup this is to sip on. The Pinot Noir of tea.

Earthy flavor, a good tea but not one of my favs. For those who has a pallet for this type of tea it will be perfect

★★★★★

It's subtle, but a very solid oolong for the price! Definitely considering ordering more.

★★★★★

I had to write a review the moment I sipped this wonderful oolong! So nutty, smokey, and toasty! I assume this is how a fireplace would taste xD amazing tea!

This is a tea for days when you wish you could be outside in a forest. It's a hearty oolong that stands up to milk and sugar and offers a hint of damp forest flavor that transports you when you drink it. So far my favorite of the oolongs.

★★★★★

This is a fascinating tea! My favorite thing about oolongs is the way the change flavor profiles from cup to cup...and this one does it in spades! The first cup has a bright flavor, grassy and fresh. The second cup has mellowed significantly, and by the third cup, it is sweet and almost fruity. Very dynamic tea!

A nice medium oolong with a good mineral-y flavor.

I tried this brewed English style as the directions on the bag state and using lots of leaves to a smaller amount of water in a yixing pot. It was okay both ways. Good, but not great. Mild.

★★★★☆

not really my style of tea, but it steeps well multiple times and has some good sweet nutty notes in it.

★★★☆☆

Funky tea smell, but has a mellow flavor that is hard to describe- maybe like a fermented black tea.

★★★★★

Most definitely one of my favorites. It has a perfectly earthy flavor and I enjoy drinking this unique flavor on its own. You have to really appreciate the earthiness of some of these teas. I have way too many favorites at this point that I never want to go a day without and Fujian Rain is most definitely at the top of my list with more than 5 stars. If I could order them all, I would. LOL

★★★★★

A very good tea when your just looking for something light. The tea has a very smooth texture to it and does not seem to go better if you over brew it. Very earth notes but a sure fresh reminder of spring and warmer times with every sip. Me an my boyfriend absolutely love this tea .

★★★★★

This is a unique but delicious oolong that I was not expecting. While the color indicates a more oxidized oolong, and the temperature suggestion indicates a less oxidized oolong, this kind of meets in the middle with a savory and deep green flavor. Amber in flavor, it is absolutely delicious and didn t creep towards the black tea category. It was just a very well-rounded and rich oolong, with very little black or green flavors.

This tea has a very noticeable minerally, earthy flavor that I find to be incredibly enjoyable. It is truely different than other black teas that I have tried. It is smooth with no bitterness at all, even if you slightly oversteep. I will absolutely be repurchasing when I run out!

It s a little too astringent for my tastes. The surface flavor is nice, it takes a re-steeping very well, and the resultant tea is a lovely golden color, but two seconds after sipping my tongue dries up.

★★★☆☆

A little smokey for my taste but still rounded and quite fun

★★★★★

This is one of my favorite oolong teas and now a part of my daily brews. Simply delicious!

I saw reviews that said that you could actually taste the minerals, and while I wasn t sure what that meant or how it was possible, I understood once I got it. This is a great tea, and my first real attempt at drinking some decent oolong outside of a Chinese restaurant (usually a black or herbal tea drinker). I really like it, and have jumped on the oolong train now.

This is a great morning tea for me! I first got it as a free sample when I shared my order on Facebook and almost immediately turned around and ordered a full bag for another order! It has a slight nuttiness to it and pairs well with a bit of lemon and honey. I can t get enough of this tea.

★★★★★

Love, love, love this tea!!! So comforting and simple. Not a hint of bitterness.

★★★★★

Earthy fragrance up front. Tastes of minerals and wet stones with a rich earthy taste so different from any other teas. Also has some dark fruit notes on the after taste. This being a darker oolong the finish is more like a light bodied black tea. Ordered it a second time due to it's uniqueness and character. Very smooth and complex.

★★★★☆

A smooth and earthy oolong but a little less 'sweet' than Golden Flower.

★★★★★

Very nice oolong from Adagio's darker selection. I tend to prefer the lighter oolongs but this is nice for times when you need a stronger brew.

★★★☆☆

Just okay. It's not bad, but there's nothing distinctive about it.

★★★★☆

This tea is flavorful and has a gorgeous color, especially in a glass mug. Smells amazing. Very fruity!

★★★★★

Great Oolong tea. The smell as it brews is amazing and the taste is fantastic.

very minerally, almost metallic. not bad. Probably not going to buy again.

★★★★★

Great oolong tea with nice spicy notes. Dry leaf smells slightly smoky to me. Nice daily drinker for me, and even better when brewed gongfu-style in a gaiwan. Just play with higher leaf-to-water ratios.

★★★★☆

Subtle but much better than I thought it would be.

★★★★☆

This was good but a bit too expensive for everyday brewing.

★★★★★

enjoying this smooth black tea. Like other reviewers, I'm able to easily get 2 infusions with this tea, both are delicious - and different.

★★★★★

This tea is unique. A little goes a long way, I use 1 teaspoon per 12oz water.
It's refreshing, I make a giant batch of it and drink hot, warm, & room temp.

★★★★☆

A very nice and earthy tea. Not too strong tasting. Great to try!

★★★★★

Very good tea. A nice mineral flavor to it that mellows out into an earthy taste on the 2-3 steeping.

★★★★☆

This has a pleasant flower taste, reminding me of a lighter jasmine and would be a good choice for traditional Chinese restaurant style tea. One teabag made a flavorful 10 oz. cup

I'm not much of a coffee drinker, but it gave me hints of a coffee flavor. It was a nice pleasant morning tea.

★★★★★

This is a great oolong. It s so earthy and has thirst-quenching mineral taste. It s very gentle but still distinctive on it s own.

This dry tea smells like walking into a room with wet paint, but brew it, and it's lovely.
