★★★★☆

a good, solid tea with a full body. The fruityness of the tea adds a lot to the cup!

Ok it is.

Neither strong, nor mellow, neither good nor bad. Simply not 'my cup of the'.

★★★☆☆

From the descriptions, I was expecting a heavier smoky flavor, which I was looking forward to. I was a bit disappointed. it's a pretty mild effect.

★★★★☆

Just what I was looking for! Similar to some tea a friend gave me from Wuyi Mountain, but at a price that will allow my mortgage payments to continue. Update: After having this tea several times, I'm not quite as excited as when I started. The flavor just isn't as smooth as I've had in other 'smoky' Fujian teas.

★★★★☆

So far I've tried formosa oolong, formosa bai hao, pouchong, wuyi ensemble, ooooh dargeeling and fujian rain. Fujian rain so far is my favorite. Wuyi ensemble is very good too, but fujian rain tastes EXACTLY like the oolong you'd get at a Chinese restaurant, only 100 times better tasting. The leafs are a lot longer than other oolongs, so greater care must be taken when scooping out how much you like, so no leaf breaking occurs. If anyone is looking for a restaurant style oolong with a much better taste to it, I would totally suggest this one!

Great tea. I ordered the sample pack while trying to get back in to loose leaf teas. Great all day tea. Smooth drinking.

★★★★☆

A nice everyday oolong, nutty flavors dominate on the second and third steeping. First steeping has a gorgeous malty flavor.

It was described to me as musky with veggie overtones but I didn't find that to be true at all. It tastes really rich and slightly sweet, in a good way. As a diabetic hot chocolate is not an option for me but this serves that purpose just fine!

★★★★☆

This was a delight. It wasn't as dark as formosa oolong. It's a solid introduction to oolong.

★★★☆☆

Not terribly bad, but not my favorite oolong by any means. Just nothing really that special. Very robust and woodsy.

★★★★★

pleasant tea to change things up. mild with sweet grass notes and an earthy backdrop

★★★★☆

This tea reminds me strongly of hiking in the temperate rainforests of the pacific northwest, with the trees all covered in moss. Very enjoyable.

★★★★☆

Good, quality tea. Not my favorite, but it gets the job done

★★★☆☆

A bit more earthy and grassy tasting than I would prefer, but certainly not undrinkable.

★★★★★

This tea is a perfect introduction to the world of oolongs. I found that it had a great mineral-y taste that was smooth and non-astringent. The description wasn't kidding when they said this is a great every day oolong! This tea has a great intersection of price, taste and quality. I'll probably be ordering the full size soon.

★★★★★

Love this oolong tea. Reminds me of some of the basic oolong I enjoyed while in China. Not too strong, a little earthy.

I was a little nervous about trying this tea due to the description referencing a 'mineral rock taste' but it doesn't taste as 'earthy' as I thought it would.

★★★★★

Light, pleasant tasting tea. Really enjoy this one with toast and eggs. Will definitely order more.

A nice wuyi like oolong, very light with subtle flavors.

★★★★☆

This had a bit of a softer tone than I was expecting but was pleasantly surprised with.

★★★★★

nice deep black tea with a almost smokey taste.

This is a pretty good oolong. I'm a big fan of the darker, toastier 'rock' oolongs myself, especially straight oolongs that aren't blended, and Fujian Rain fit the bill. Straight out of the bag, I get the aromas of toast, raw almonds, and a hint of honey. In the cup, it steeps up strong (in a good way) and smokey, but not too full-bodied for my tastes. The sweet and toasty flavors battle each other very enjoyably. Overall, this is a good oolong to have on hand. I look forward to steeping it at work every day. <3

Very mineral taste, quite good but not great. Definitely missing something

Fujian rain is a great oolong for its value. It had a nice bright fruity aroma when I first sipped it this afternoon, then as it cooled off it seemed to have more of a delicate nutty flavor. This is an excellent everyday oolong.

I didn't believe the 'mineral' description, but it's really there!

Just didn't like this one, can't even really say why. The taste was just not for me.

★★★★★

The mineral flavor was much stronger than the apricot that the description mentions but it made for a great cup of tea anyway.

There is definitely a rock/mineral taste here. I didn't really get the 'peach pit' flavor. Just a dark oolong...with a rocky taste.

★★★★☆

The smell is that of rainwater but the flavor which holds the strongest is a medium-strength mineral earth taste that carries with it a slight fruity touch. It's hardly astringent at all and is quite refreshingly smooth.

tastes great the rocky taste comes through, a great oolong.

I really love the taste of this one. It has an earthy taste that really satisfies. I would really recommend it as an alternate to green tea or just for those who love oolong.

★★★★☆

An excellent mineral-y oolong with a sweet aftertaste.

The best description I can find for the flavor is 'unique'. It's complex, floral, and refreshing. Unlike most oolongs, the first brew is the best. The second brew is still fairly good, but it does not hold up for a third. Even so, I would order it again.

An Oolong tea that I would simply categorize as 'alright.' I was neither particularly impressed nor particularly disappointed with this tea.

★★★★★

Wonderful nutty notes that creep in with a smooth delicious drink

Tastes like rainwater to me. Definitely not the tea for me!

★★★☆☆

I was honestly a little disappointed in this. Oolong is potentially my favorite overarching type of tea, but this is very inappropriately named. Instead of a light and refreshing 'rain', this tea was a VERY heavy-bodied, nutty/woody cup. It was one of the maltiest teas I've ever had, and while it was alright its aftertaste left my palate wanting.

Very refreshing and smooth. Great taste. I find that oolong teas do not always have the best smell but they make up for it in their taste, worth a try for anyone interested in oolong.

This is a basic green tea blend that easy to brew and sip.

★★★★★

A beautiful amber cup of tea with a strong earthy mineral greeting and a smooth peach apricot finish. Not sweet to me but deeply earthy and very fruity. Lovely light crisp mouthfeel without being astringent, easy to enjoy cup after cup.

This is a nice clean oolong. No need to add anything to it.

★★★★☆

Nice perhaps not enough body but I drink my black teas cambric style.

★★★★★

Refreshing and smooth. One of my favorite oolong teas. I will definitely order this again!

★★★★☆

This is really delicious. It has a nice, mellow flavor.

★★★★★

A light, lovely green tea, and I will reorder soon!

★★☆☆☆

A bad rating seems harsh. It simply did not meet my taste in a tea.

★★★★☆

Quite nice. It has a nice grassy and mineral taste without being overpowering.

First oolong I've tried from Adagio and I really enjoyed it. Main flavor I noticed was the mineral taste.
