★★☆☆☆

I am so upset with myself because I ordered the largest size possible. I previously ordered blackberry sage oolong from Hackberry and Atlas and loved it. I came across this site and they had some other very interesting blends I wanted to try so I ordered those in smaller sizes and ordered the largest of this blend thinking, how can you mess up blackberry sage? Welp. You can apparently. This tea upon opening smelled like bubblegum more than anything else but I it smelled fruity and sweet so I figured once I steeped it that it would be fine. The tea has no flavor what so ever. I feel like I spent 40 for Lipton and I could kick myself for not trying a smaller size first. The other two teas I ordered smell amazing and they both are quite tasty but because of this, I will likely not be ordering again. Highly disappointed

Strong, tart fruit flavor with an earthy-sweet herbal finish. Sort of a foresty taste.

Love it! The Blackberry Sage Oolong has a wonderful berry-licious flavor. Perfect in the afternoon for the burst of flavor and energy kick. For me, I use sweetener to help bring out all the flavor, to give me a better oolong tea experience. @adagioteas

Not my favorite, the smell reminded me of bubble gum, the taste was okay

My nine year old daughter bought me a pound of this for Christmas sight unseen. I had never tried it and neither had she. I hoped it was good as a full pound is a lot of tea to drink. We were delighted that nearly everyone in the family enjoyed this tea and now we are on our second pound. There is a lovely balance between the blackberry and the sage. Neither is overpowering. The fruity sweetness and earthiness of the sage are perfectly complimentary.

Very rich and complex flavor. Sage add a little something that I can't name and that I didn't expect.

Perfect jump-start in the morning. A fruity and refreshing favorite for my morning tea rotation.

This is a really nice subtle earthy tea with a good fruity flavor

the smell of this tea was absolutely AMAZING. if i could get a candle scented like this, i absolutely would! the tea itself is super delicious, the berries and sage working together amazingly to create a smooth, fruity cup. even better with a little bit of sweetener @adagioteas

Really like the flavor if you are looking for an Oolong with a little different profile. Be sure to follow the instructions and do a heaping tsp per cup. I also like it at 5 minutes opposed to a shorter brew time.

I think it’s just kind of okay. I really loved the blackberry tones but was not really a fan of the sage.

This a very pleasant, relaxing tea. The sage comes threw as the strongest flavor with hints of blackberry and raspberry leaves . Very earthy. The berry flavor comes threw stronger when served iced.

What a delicious blend! I hadn't thought of sage as a flavor that was missing from tea, but after tasting this I have a million ideas running through my head of blends that would go well with a bit of the comforting herb.

Unsweetened this is all blackberry and somewhat flat, adding sugar brought out the sage flavoring followed by blackberry

This tea is highly rated but I'm not impressed. The sage seems too strong. I don't typically add sweetener to teas (diabetic) so prefer ones that have a natural hint of sweetness rather than leaning savory.

This is rapidly becoming my favorite tea. Excellent with shortbread (although anything sweeter and you start to loose the 'blackberry' notes and just get straight to the 'sage'.

A sweet and savory blend that pairs best with less-sweet foods and wonderfully with anything salty. A perfect 10/10 for me!

I was hesitant to try this tea at first, as the sage seemed like a bit of a wild card. But I read some of the other reviews and decided to give it a shot, and I'm so glad I did because this makes a beautiful cup. The sage is not overpowering at all, it adds an earthiness to the brighter berry notes and makes for a wonderful compliment. Will definitely be reordering when I run low on this one!

Not much blackberry flavor. I was very disappointed with it.

One of the best teas I've had and easily my favorite Adagio blend. Fragrant and complex, yet the sage and blackberry are perfectly balanced!

★★★★★

This one was a surprisingly and unexpectedly delicious. It probably went into my order basket. The blend of blackberry, raspberry leaves, and sage is sweet and a bit savory without the usual 'cooked veggie' flavor more commonly associated with the term.

This has become hands down my favorite tea. Great any time of the day. The sage notes are very comforting and the oolong isn't overpowered by either flavor.

Satisfying flavor. As a lover of blackberry and oolong tea, this was a great combination. @adagioteas

This tea was simply amazing to me. It smelled so wonderful upon opening the pouch. And after steeping it tasted almost exactly like how it smelled. There were several unique flavors to taste and all of them were enjoyable. Will make this a favorite for sure.

Smells amazing! Tastes almost as good as it smells.

★★★★★

One of the biggest surprises. Got this in the advent calendar last year, and had to order it separately I loved it so much. Not normally a fan of fruity tea but loved this.

★★★★☆

This is a lovely herbaceous blend. It's true to its name and neither ingredient comes off as artificial. When hot the sage is quite prominent, starting off savory, but as it cools it gives the berries a chance to shine and becomes a tad more sweet. Either way you drink it, it's a unique combination that's altogether pleasant.

This is one of the most unique teas I have. It's perfectly balanced between fruity and earthy. I ordered a full size after my sample ran out

One of my favorite teas. The blackberry is the first flavor that hits the palate followed by a sage finish. So unique and delicious!!

A new favorite for us. The warmth of the sage pairing with the fruitiness of the blackberry and raspberry is a major hit

this tea is great both hot and iced! i like it with a little honey or mixed 1:1 with gunpowder, which adds a smokey hit to an already great tea. this is one of my favorite teas to take on a hike

the blackberry leaves and sage really stand out, but also work so well with the oolong @adagioteas

★★★★★

This is an odd tea with lots of sage notes which might not be for everyone but I find it an interesting blend!

★★★★☆

A perfect Thanksgiving tea. I imagine drinking this after turkey and stuffing.

★★★★☆

A good pick for people who don t do milk/sugar in their tea. Interesting flavor blend, but I don t choose it often since the milk/sugar is my go-to.
Update: I made sort of a 'shrub' drink with seltzer, huckleberry balsamic vinegar, and this tea added on top and it was wonderful. The flavors in the tea really came out nicely and this has made me decide to order a bit more.

Liked this more than I thought I would. I wasn't sure about the sage taste in tea, but I didn't think it was too strong, and complimented the blackberry nicely.

The herbaceous and earthy flavor of sage and the fruity flavor of blackberry I personally think work really well together! My cups always ended up being a perfect split between the blackberry and sage flavors, perhaps a bit more of the blackberry than the sage but I deeply enjoyed every cup regardless. Also paired nicely in a blend with golden monkey.

★★★★☆

I enjoyed the flavor but I could use just a little less of the sage.

★★★★★

Sage is not one of my favorites, but tried this as sample on sale & was glad I did. Sage is mild & is stronger when iced. Berry flavor is stronger when hot. Will definitely be ordering this again

★★★★☆

Delicious cup, it’s more sage than blackberry. Still very enjoyable!

I love this tea. Tastes just like blueberries. It has caffeine though so not good for the evening.

★★★★★

I love this one. I’m a big fan of blackberries and oolong and if you are too, try this one.

★★★★☆

Not my favorite oolong but really very nice. I like the fruitiness against the calm sage background.

I thought the flavors blended well together. It's more complex than the plain blackberry tea, which I like. I was worried about the sage, but it was subtle.

★★★★★

Delicious oolong from Adagio. Thankfully the sage doesn't have a heavy presence.

This tea is really intense on it s own, but pairing it with a nice sweet lemonade really makes this tea shine. This is my go to summer tea.

I got a sample of this to try and I have to admit I like it a lot. I might do as another suggested and try a longer steeping time to get more blackberry, but even at 5 minutes I found it to be nice and full of flavor.
