Matcha, matcha, matcha! You can't go wrong with this superfood. Use it as a regular tea or add some milk alternative to make a frothy treat with crushed ice. This can also be used to sprinkle on dried fruit to add an herby kick. Very comparable to other high quality matcha I've tried, but at a reduced cost.

I am an avid tea lover, always have been. Not many people know or heard of matcha tea unless you are a real enthusiast so this tea is not for everyone...but if you are...this is a very good example of Matcha tea. Delivered fresh and flavorful. When prepared properly you will know what I mean. If you are not a tea enthusiast (such as a friend of mine) they stated it tasted grassy and did not care for it.

Really unhappy with the packaging of this product. The bag is really hard to seal once the matcha gets into the closure, so I ended up with a green tea explosion. Didn't care for the tea either--very grassy, nothing special.
Confession: I'm somewhat new to matcha. As a sample, it is indeed worth trying, with one caveat for other somewhat-newbies to matcha like myself: if you don't like green tea lattes, I don't think this variety will work for you (without some patience and experimentation, that is). I myself prefer regular green tea of *any* variety -- all the varieties, all of them, give me all the green tea you have, bwa ha ha haaaaa -- ahem, so a 'latte' interpretation of green tea remains a bit of a mystery to me. I'll gladly take my black and flavored teas with any amount of sweetener and creamer, but green tea with these things just feels ... wrong-headed, somehow. That being said, Adagio's matcha was definitely fun to try. With time/cooling, it became a little smoother, more pleasant, and less vegetative. It is *also* really quite yummy if you enjoy it alongside a sweet dessert, since matcha pairs so well with sweets (ingredient-wise *and* flavor-wise). Treat it like an after-dinner cappuccino and you should be fine. Newbie out!
I drink Matcha tea daily and have tried many brands. Adagio Matcha is my favorite. Very smooth with great color and aroma. On auto-delivery plan. Cannot be without my Adagio Matcha
I like this quite a bit, as far as greens go this is a bit acrid(as in sharp and sour) flavor. Quite nice with cold takuan and sour plum onigiri.

You can really make this tea in a tea machine, you'll need to buy the special wisk to mix this tea.

This matcha is right up there with the best I've had. Sifts easily and the flavor is sweet. Not as grassy as other matcha I've had.
I've had Matcha tea before, and once I tried this after ordering it, this tea did not disappoint me. Not only that, but 1tablespoon of this powder can by chance make up to 10 cups, so it goes a very long way, especially with the health benefits it provides, as well as all those potent antioxidants in it.

This is my first time trying matcha. The smell reminded me slightly of nori, perhaps because I recently had some. The taste was earthy, with a bitter aftertaste. The bitterness went away the more I drank it and it just became this nice, clean earthy taste, words I have never used to describe anything. The sample bag is kind of a pain to get the tea out of, but I certainly will be finishing it off.

This is the first matcha tea I have tried and I really like it! I've had a bunch of matcha flavored things and I expected it to be more similar. It's not as sweet as I thought it would be or as thick. I still like the consistency though. I've made it a couple of different ways now. I will say matcha makes me feel MUCH better than coffee does.
This is the first matcha I ever purchased and I'm really happy with it! It's a nice bright green (I've seen other ugly brownish matchas before) and it's very smooth. I plan on using it to make ice cream and other baked goods. It's a little pricey but I think it's worth it!

Beautiful color. The tea has a smooth, earthy flavor. I drink it every morning and feel great and it's good for me. I no longer need my cup of coffee in the morning. It seems a little pricy, but worth it. With daily drinking one cup, the small size lasted about one month. I'm buying the large size now.

Love this tea! I make it and pour it over ice on warm days. I love the smooth green tea flavor. It has actually replaced my morning cup of coffee and mid morning diet coke. It gives me energy but without the crash or feeling jittery.
