Good quality, great color and froth. Overall, a top-notch matcha.
Only the finest, young, shade-grown gyokuro tea leaves are used to create matcha. The leaves are plucked and laid out flat to dry. Veins are removed and the leaves, now called tencha, are carefully ground in granite mills until they become the precious powder.

Good quality, great color and froth. Overall, a top-notch matcha.
My daughter got this. She says she loves it. Takes to work.
I really wanted to like this, but it has a bit of a bitter aftertaste to me.
Value to price (great, good, or bad): Good
Color: Bright green
Scent: sweet spinach
Consistency: super fine ground, blends well
Most comparable to: Teavana Emperial Matcha (though not quite as sweet)
How i drink it: matcha latte with turmeric, black pepper, cinnamon, vanilla extract, honey, almond milk
OK so I'm trying to love this knowing the healthy benefits, but it does have a unique texture
This is great hot or to make into an iced Matcha.
Absolutely loved this Matcha! The color is so vibrant and the flavor was fantastic!
New to Matcha but trying. So far so good! Will stay
I LOVE this tea. I get a very good feeling after drinking it. It feels healthy. It was a veggy/non-sweet/almost bitter kind of taste to it. The consistency is like drinking carrot juice. I want to get a proper set-up for brewing this tea.
this is by far the best Matcha I have ever tasted! I drink this every day - cold during my work out and a hot cup after - can't think of a better way to start my day!
I'm not a big matcha fan - must drink with food and not on an empty stomach. It needs very little to be potent and will not dissolve if more than the desired amount and get pasty. I do feel heathy drinking this!
I really enjoy the flavor of this matcha and use it daily as a pick me up. Will definitely rebuy.
Great for my afternoon relaxing tea, and I add it to smoothies regularly
I love matcha to being with, and this stuff is just as awesome!
A flavorful and smooth tea to start the day with. I highly recommend this matcha. It s so good, even my boyfriend is willing to drink it.
Very strong. You have to adjust the quantity to find your preferred strength. It's great in the afternoon for a pick-me-up instead of coffee. I've really come to appreciate this green tea type.
Nice green flavor. I really like it with a touch of cream.
Really new to the Matcha thing. I bought a whole Matcha set to make the tea with. I really enjoy it, but I need to get better at the preparation.
It is the epitome of Matcha, very strong, a little bitter.
Not the tea for me. Smelled and tasted like grass.
Tastes great, have a cup every morning to start my day!
Good as a general Matcha. It was a bit bitter, but after adding more water was better, but then it wouldnt froth well and lost a lot of creaminess. Was grassy not pungent, which was nice. Probably won t buy again, not enough value for the cost.
Good taste and a better value than Uji.
Good quality Matcha that mixes well. I will buy again.
So healthy! You can put into a shake or drink alone.
Bought this for my husband as a gift- he has been reading a lot of health benefits about Matcha. This is a great price!
Took some experimenting to get the right amount of tea and the right temperature of water. I like it a bit less strong so I used a bit less than a teaspoon and a bit more water. Overall has a great flavor and I would buy more
I can't live without this! I have been hooked for almost 3 years now. Best matcha quality I have had so far and I have tried alot of brands
A year ago I purchased a bag of cheap, but decently reviewed matcha powder on Amazon. Every time I tried to make a cup, I concluded, 'huh, I guess I don't like matcha as much as I thought I did.' Then I took a trip to Japan and had matcha while I was there. It rekindled my initial interest in drinking matcha. I ordered this matcha from Adagio, and compared it side-by-side to the other brand I'd purchased, and this was hands-down the winner. It was like an entirely different drink altogether. This matcha is wonderful. Definitely buy some.
This matcha was a very vibrant green and whipped up to a fine, creamy foam. It tasted pretty comparable to other matches I ve tried and is reasonably priced.
This Matcha is great! I drink a cup every morning.
I am new to Matcha tea. Where have I been?? Delicious grassy, almost malty green tea. Responds well to one of those small hand-held frothers, and I love it with warm milk and honey, so the frothier the better. Also helps the powder dissolve, though there are many tricks and opinions about that technique on line as well. DeeLISH!
The flavor of this is amazing but was almost impossible to mix right without the proper tools. A cheaper tea and tool set would be a welcome option.
This is the first time I ordered this tea and I love it! I put it in my coffee, and in my bottle water. Both ways taste great. I will be ordering more when I run out of it.
This is not only fantastic - it's at a price that other can't hold a candle to. It blends and foams well, is smooth, and goes well with and without cream.
This matcha is fantastic. It has a strong earthy flavor and is very smooth.
I used to only buy Teavana but they closed. I tried Adagio and I would say taste and quality are a match, which is very good news! It has the signature 'grassy' flavor of green tea-which I like, and its not bitter. I have to have honey with mine, I don't like any tea plain. I put a teaspoon of raw orange blossom honey and a little almond milk in about 10 oz of matcha-the perfect cup!
This matcha smells and tastes great, it's not too bitter at all. It reminds me of store-bought matcha lattes.
Excellent! Very relaxing tea. Good balance of flavor.
I loved the earth flavor of the Matcha! It was very strong and refreshing!
Delicious! My husband and I have enjoyed the ritual of preparing matcha together
Good flavor. Dissolved easily. I drink it cold :)
Bought this for Christmas for my daughter and her boyfriend, and they both deemed it the best matcha they ever tasted. Adagio for the win!
This is really green, fresh tasting matcha for a very affordable price. Definitely planning to reorder.
A fantastic matcha! Very high quality as evidenced by the color and aroma...then came the taste! I didn't do a full ceremony or use the correct tools, but with a tea this good I now understand the actions of green tea connoisseurs!
Excellent Matcha for the price. Used about 1 teaspoon for 8-10 oz of water.
This is my first time drinking matcha so I have nothing to compare it however it is sooo good! I made a paste first then added the rest of the water. Tasted good on its own but I like a little honey to sweeten it up a bit. Will buy the bigger size next!
I got the matcha sticks for free with my toasTea and I was very happy with those, but you really can't beat the price of this not pre-portioned into single servings.
This was my first time trying matcha of any brand. I read all the reviews first, and I must say, I was not disappointed. Now Adagio matcha is part of my morning routine. Matcha latte is my favorite way to prepare.
I did not like Starbucks matcha so I nervously tried this. What a difference ! I enjoyed a lot
