Lemongrass is a great tea staple to be mixed with any number of other teas. I especially like this one with lemon cloud rooibos or any of the berry herbal teas.
Native of Southeast Asia, with delicate Meyer lemon flavor, a hint of sweet ginger and uplifting floral aroma.

Love this added to other teas to give a subtle hint of lemon to my iced teas.
Excellent, even in the sample pouch. I like to pair this with blue pea flower for a relaxing drink before bed
Love lemongrass tea. It is delicious by itself or added into tea blends. It is nice as a hot tea, I haven't had luck cold brewing for long periods , it tends to get bitter if left in the water for too long. A nice citrus lemony aroma and a light flavor of lemon in the tea. It is a nice refreshing herbal caffeine free tea.
This lemongrass is fresh enough that I can even use it successfully in cooking, which is great for times when I don't feel like driving over to the asian market to buy a full stalk of lemongrass. Leaving the house is a bummer sometimes, ya know? So this gives me a great stay-home alternative. But also, of course, it brews into a lovely tisane.
Bought this to make tom ka gai soup. Added a great lemongrass flavor.
I got this to mix with other teas, this smell yummy on its own. I personally like mixing it with chamomile.
Don't forget to brew this longer than you think to get the full flavor. Really delicious, didn't disappoint.
Adagio's lemongrass is delightful and I blend it with a lot of other things to add zing and freshness. I'm less likely to drink its own. Time and temp dependent on what I'm blending.
Mild, lemony flavor and very soothing to have at night.
This herbal option provides a refreshing caffeine free sip. It is also a great blending element that livens up other teas. Great especially when added to green or white teas.
I had a coworker fall in love with the bella luna blue blend i brought to work but when she asked for more i couldn t get her some since Bella luna blue is an event tea. So i improvised hope my plan works. @adagioteas
I have been using this tea in combination with other herbal teas, it seemed a bit weak all on its own, but adds subtle tones to tea blends. Fun to experiment with!
I actually got this to add to soup recipes that have a Thai-style taste. Lemongrass is a really good addition :) @adagioteas
Very nice, and so handy in portioned teabags! Thanks for providing this refreshing option to my usual teas. It is also nice to add a lemongrass teabag to a cup of my usual tea for a citrusy boost.
Delish nuff said. Great for if you are feeling a little under the weather
I love the flavor of lemongrass. I was too lazy to wash out a tea strainer, so I just put the lemongrass directly into my cup and let it stay there. Can't wait to make my own blends at home using this!
Lemongrass has a distinctively citrusy but hay-like taste. It made sound a bit silly put like that, but it just means that it's named right. A great herbal to drink when feeling a bit off or just trying to wind down for the night.
Excellent Lemongrass! I am working on my own green mint citrus blend, and this is a great addition.
I've never had lemon tea before. So I thought I would give this a try. I was not disappointed. I think I found my new favorite tea.
this is a great way to add additional lemongrass to my teas- the flavor is just the boost i look forward to
The tea is very fresh tasting. It’s not something I’d usually drink, but it is pleasant.
While I can t say that this lemongrass is better than others, I enjoy it to mix with other herbals (lavender, chamomile, mint) or with other teas. It tastes fresh.
This is my new favorite herbal tea. It is so delicious and relaxing and mixes wonderfully with white tea. It reminds me of a lemon drop, especially when mixed with a little honey.
Big lemongrass fan here. Plenty in my packet to make a nice big cuppa tonight. Such a lovely sweet light lemon scent. Steeped at around 200 for 10 minutes. Never a need to sweeten. Love adding this to other teas and herbals.
I think everyone needs lemongrass. It’s light and fresh and so good for you!! Perfect to add to other teas when you just need a little change too
Wow!!! I'd rate this one a 10 if I could!!
Love, love, love it!!
A great herb on it's own or a ingredent on blending your own teas. My children and I have tea time everyday and sometimes they get to blend thier own teas. This is a great addition to our collection.
Very nice. I combine with the Raspberry Patch and it's delicious.
I love lemongrass. The dried herb smells grassy, and only when brewed does the lemon flavors come out. Brewed alone, the tea is a light golden color. The lemongrass isn't overwhelming brewed without anything else in the cup, and makes for a simple, lemony drink with hints of hay and grassiness with the 'bite' from the lemongrass on the finish. The smell makes me remember when I was a kid and my dad would grab fresh lemongrass from the farmers market for my sister and I to chew on.
The only reason why I am giving it for stars is because it requires two teaspoons. You’ll go through it so quickly and have to spend more money on it...
Faint lemony taste. I find for some reason I like this much more alone than mixed with other teas.
I usually order this in the larger bags and add it to other herbal blends, or drink by itself, or with a little bit of honey. Very delicous!
I use this for a tea blend I like to
sip - lemongrass vanilla roobios - and it is perfect. I also add it to any tea that needs a little lemony lift. Always great to have handy.
A good quality classic lemongrass. This is great for cooking with (don’t forget to strain it as it never softens up). It adds a nice lemon flavor to other blends.
This is why I shop Adagio. Nothing added, just pure lemongrass tea.
Such a lovely tea that I instantly bought another bag. It’s a soft lemon taste yet clear and distinct. It’s going to be excellent for mixing, and amazing on its own. Mixed with honey, or fresh ginger- it’s a staple. Can’t believe I haven’t discovered it sooner!
Love mixing this with butterfly pea flower! Tastes just like fruit loops :) kids love it and so do I!
A favorite lemon tea, on its own or mixed with other herbal notes. Lemongrass is subtle, it does not pack a strong lemon punch, but neither is it weak. It imparts a fragrant, lemony flavor with a lovely scent. I first tried it as a communitea sample, thinking it probably wouldn t replace my other lemony tea favorites. Although it hasn t replaced a strong lemon favorite, I did purchase lemongrass as a mellow herbal for quiet afternoons and as a mixing tea, especially with peppermint, ginger, and chamomile.
Solid, straightforward lemongrass. Has a mild lemon/citrus taste with ginger/floral notes in the background. Excellent addition to tea blends at home. Be careful not to use too much or over-steep (over 10 min) because I feel the floral note will over-develop and become too strong, almost soapy. However, that's just personal taste, so feel free to experiment.
Pure lemongrass tea is refreshing, simple and delicious. A number of my favorite teas have lemongrass in them, but I don't often drink it on its own. Unsweetened, it maintains a bit more of its earthy planty-ness and the beautiful aroma is a bit more lemony than the flavor. With a few drops of honey, the flavor becomes as lemony as the aroma with a bit more of a lemon candy flavor. I usually prefer it unsweetened. I like to steep it for at least ten minutes, if not longer, which makes for only one steep. (10+++ mins @ 212º)
Lemongrass isn't really my thing, but isn't bad. I would not choose to drink this regularly but it's not the worst. I like regular lemon flavor much better.
My CommuniTEA packet smelled strongly grassy and reminded me of straw. When steeped for 7.5 minutes, it smelled and tasted lightly lemony. It was fine on it's own without sugar but I agree with many others that it would be best in a blend.
This makes a nice light, bight, citrusy brew. Slightly spicy note on the finish.
Nice aroma. Mellow flavor. I’ve mostly always used lemongrass to blend with other teas. Thanks to communitea for making me try on its own.
This was a really simple and soothing tea! The lemongrass provides really good lemon flavor without being sour or acidic. Would be great for when you are sick.
Pleasantly citrusy and mellow. I do find it a bit one-note and agree with other reviewers that it's better in a blend, but on its own, it's still quite pleasant.
Is lemongrass. Lemony with a bit of natural sweetness. I love the smell of it dry or steeped. One of the best things about it is it’s versatility! Good on its own, and in blends. Great hot or iced. Of course it goes well with sugar, but also plays nice with milk!
Steeped 212F
Pure lemongrass. Nothing too fancy here. Just what you'd expect
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ this tea deserves 10 stars. February teas assortment has been a little disappointing, today’s tea made it worth it
