One of my favorites as I love, love, love ginger. In fact, I will often turn this into a triple ginger concoction by grating in some fresh ginger to the mix. Highly beneficial for the body especially at the beginning stages of a cold. Can't recommend enough.

If you’re a fan of ginger, this is a must try tea. Delicious hot or iced.

This is the perfect pick-me-up for the afternoon. I prefer to take it hot, sometimes with a little fresh lemon. Opens up my head if I'm feeling congested, helps when the barometric pressure is all over the map when we are expecting a storm, and is generally a 'warming' tea.
It's in my arsenal for cold season.
Update: A friend has been having morning sickness with her pregancy - not just morning, but basically all day long. This tea with a little honey is helping her deal with nausea. Not a doctor, just reporting our experience with this tea. I gave her my stash, so I need to order more.

Not my favorite. There is cayenne (I think) in this that makes it spicy. It’s not enjoyable. I can taste whatever the spicy spice is in it way more than I can taste any ginger. I bought this for days I have an upset stomach but probably will not use anymore.

Delicious! Not so powerful that it shocks, but just enough to spice things up and put some pep in your step.

Excellent ginger tea has a great smell and the taste is amazing. I have stomach issues and this tea does help for me.

This is a nice tea that pairs well in blends- especially with turmeric bliss or Kona pineapple!

The ginger is strong & spicy without being too much. Feels good to drink. Great for a sore throat or upset stomach. Would recommend for any ginger lover!

When I opened the package, thought the flavor was going to be way too strong. However, I was very pleasantly surprised with the smooth flavor. It has quickly become a favorite of mine. I will definitely be buying more.

Outstanding ginger tea with a real kick to it. I love it, and I'll be ordering a larger quantitity. The next best thing to brewing it from fresh ginger root yourself...and it's much easier.

I typically make my own ginger tea just using slices of fresh ginger but this is a nice alternative providing extra citrusy flavor.

I am a big fan of spicy teas, and rarely do I encounter one that's too intense. This one was intense for sure and I really enjoyed it. What I didn't expect was that I could add it to other more mild blends and get some nice combos- decaf blueberry and peach Bellini are my two current favorites to blend it with. It's good on its own for a heat-seeker like me, and adds a great kick to other flavors - very impressed.

I love this ginger, it has a good strong ginger taste and the additional ingredients compliment the ginger flavor.

Great ginger taste. On the spicier end of things but not so much that it does not blend well with some honey. My go to for a nice ginger tea.

May have steeped this one too long so I’ll need to give it another try, but too much spice came out of the ginger and peppercorn for me

One of my personal favorites on this site. It is very Gingery. To me it tastes like a naturally sweet Ginger Tea

★★☆☆☆

I love ginger. LOVE it. But something in this one turned me off. It didn't even smell good to me. My son pointed out to me that I have not liked any of the teas with peach or peach flavor in it, and this one has peach, so maybe that's it, but I was not a fan.

Easily my favorite digestive tea and one I always keep stocked in my tea cabinet. If you like ginger, you'll love this one. It's spicy and soothing, and perfect for any stomach ache or bout of nausea (or any time, really!)

★★★☆☆

An ok ginger tea which becomes more peppery the longer you steep. Would be great to soothe a sore throat and mix well with a slice of lemon and honey. I just wish the ginger was more potent/fresh.

As it turns out, I may be a ginger addict. I purchase the crystallized ginger from the Selefina site and snack on it right out of the bag. This Double Ginger tisane is equally potent and delicious, especially with the addition of red peppercorns. This is another favorite tea at bedtime, but also as a first cup to welcome the new day!

One of my favs. I like ginger and this has a good little kick to it. If I need to sweeten it, I add a little ginger syrup that I make at home. I find this to be quite relaxing.

★★★☆☆

I got this for my mother. She absolutely loves it. I'm not a huge fan. I like some of the elements in it, but there are a couple of notes I find a bit too bitter.

This is exactly what you need when you're under the weather with a cold, flu, or covid. This really helps to open you up. It has that ginger bite that soothes your sore throat, if I'm truly congested I'll add a cough drop or two to help unclog most of the congestion. With 3 cups of this during the day I don't even bother to take anything for my throat or congestion.

I purchased this for my husband since he loves all things ginger. He was hoping for more of spiciness since it was listed as double ginger. He still enjoyed it

★★★★☆

This is a very pretty dry tea with a slight ginger aroma. It brews up to be a mildly sweet and flowery tea with an underlying ginger zip. I was expecting the ginger to be more forward since it’s named double ginger, but it really is a nice ginger tea. It is very good unsweetened.

I find this a great pick me up tea for the morning. I was unsure about the peppercorns but I really like the tea and can’t say that I can single out the peppercorn flavor so I think it really works.

Ginger is so good for my tummy and this one is delicious. Just the right balance and a great winter tea.

Me and my husband love it, the flavor is great, I wish the ginger would be even a bit stronger, but still love it, and I am buying more.

★★★★★

This definitely packs a punch! I love the taste and smell of ginger and it paired perfectly with this fruity mix. The orange and strawberry flavors seemed to lull the ginger into submission and calm it down just enough to balance it all out.

CommuniTEA portion: 212 steep for 5 minutes. Ginger indeed! Quite an enjoyable cup. Awesome zing with balance provided by fruit notes. Great caffeine free choice.

I’m sorry, this is just too much peppercorn. The first sip burned my tongue so bad with spice heat. I had to add 3 heaping spoonfuls of sugar to tolerate drinking it. And yet still! I couldn’t taste ginger over peppercorn. My mouth is still burning from this one and I love ginger. Definitely not resteeping this one.

The description for this isn't joking when it says this blend is a 'supercharged punch'. The ginger KOs in one hit, and even though you're already down and out, every sip after is followed by one heck of a peppercorn powerhouse pow! to the back of the throat. If you want a blend that goes for the jugular every time, this is it.

12/27/21: This tea was warm and spicy with a hint of fruit. If you like ginger, you will appreciate this tea!

1/20/23: When I opened up my CommuniTEA packet, I noticed a strong aroma of ginger. All the elements of the blend were present in my packet. I steeped the tea for about 5 minutes. The flavor of the ginger is very strong and a bit spicy. There is still a hint of fruitiness as well. This tea continues to be a favorite for me!

I wish I could say more than 'this really lives up to the double ginger name' but thats really all I can say; its a very gingery blend and it was nice and spicy. Added sugar to round out the spice and it worked. Nice blend

Ohhhh, my new favorite tea. I love all the flavors in this tea, especially ginger and green rooibos. All the fruit flavors make it nice and juicy and the ginger really adds some body. Really warms you up on a cold day and ginger soothes the belly.

This tea is very strongly ginger flavored. I love ginger so this is a pleasant taste for me, but the double amount was just a bit too much. I brewed it at 195 for 3 minutes. About 2/3 of the way through my sip, I decided to make some Irish Breakfast and add it to the 1/3 cup I had left, and it was great! I would love to get this tea again and either use a smaller amount of leaves or to blend it with a plainer tea. If you are adventurous, I definitely recommend getting this tea and experimenting with it to your taste.

I'm not a huge fan of ginger, so this one gets a pass from me. The scent was too overwhelming, and the flavor just too much. 5 mins @ 200°F

I was very hesitant about purchasing this tea. I don’t care for Adagio’s black Ginger tea. Ginger itself can be too hot/peppery for me, and then there was the addition of peppercorns. Pink I can handle, but black is usually too strong for me. However, I noted the photographed sample on the web page did NOT have black peppercorn; that seemed promising. And indeed, there was no black peppercorn in the 1g sample I used for a 4 oz. cup. And if I do come across black pepper in future, I can always remove it if I find it to be too strong. (I would dare to taste it once in case of baseless trepidation.) Then there were the flavors– peach, strawberry, and orange. I hate Adagio’s peach flavoring. Strawberry is good and orange okay in my book. But why add those fruity flavors to a ginger tea? I still don’t know the inspiration or reasoning for that, but I couldn’t detect those flavors in any case; I tasted ginger. As it turns out, this caffeine-free concoction was delicious. It also helped me overcome a bit of nausea. I have medication for that as it often accompanies my migraines, but perhaps the tea alone will be sufficient in some instances. Bottom line is I’m buying this tea right away! I LIKE it, maybe LOVE it. I can see using it to create chai so I’m glad it’s available for blends as well.

I'm not fond of ginger tea to begin with - but this version, 'Double Ginger' is definitely not for me! I am, however, glad to have tried it via the CommuniTEA...I can safely say that I had a full cup, and based my review on a appropriately sized tea portion.

Wow! I've had ginger tea before, but it never really left an impression. This tea, however, is delicious! It has a wonderful ginger flavor with a nice, spicy kick! It reminded me a bit of a good ginger ale. Delicious. :)
