This is a fun tea to make due to the blue color. The flavor good but not as good as the Earl Grey Bella Luna. I don't taste much against the lemongrass. It's a little strong lemongrass for my taste, but if you love lemongrass, then this tea is for you.

OH MY GOD, this tea is amazing to say lease and orgasmic to say at best with no amount of exaggeration in this review. I cannot wait to stock up again and the little set I got with it was just wonderful. It also makes a nice iced tea after chilling it I created tea cubes and made it an iced tea, it was the best part of that day.

Interesting flavor. Won't blow you away, but it's certainly pleasant. Has a nice aroma as well. And yes, it does genuinely brew a very rich blue and turns a deep royal purple when you add lemon juice.

I really liked the lemongrass flavor. I didn’t taste much blueberry, but it was still very good both as a hot tea and a cold one. The blue shade is a lovely dark blue that became a beautiful teal on the second steep.

If you were to hand me a cup of this tea and ask me to drink it with my eyes closed, there’s absolutely no way I could tell you what flavor it is. All I could say about it is that it’s soft, and light, and pleasingly herbal. If I concentrated REAL hard, I might be able to eventually guess at the hint of sort of not quite lemonyness that is lemongrass, which certainly doesn’t taste like lemon at all.
That said, I really like this tea despite not having an identifiable flavor. Maybe that’s just because I don’t normally go around chewing in pea blossoms, I don’t know... but I’d be willing to start, based on this blend. Sometimes, I want a tea that is sort of soft and barely there, but still different than just plain water. I cold brew most of my teas, and I found that actually just keeping a tea strainer filled with this in my cup all day, never changing it out, was a nice experience. The flavor infuses quickly enough that even being surrounded by ice and cold water, every sip had at least a hint of it. Even if I didn’t wait for it to get more punchy. I must’ve brewed at least three liters of it from just one tea ball, at least.
Also, it’s a beautiful blue color. I do imagine it would taste nice with a bit of lemon squeezed in it, to help bring out that lemongrass, but I didn’t do so. Guess I’ll learn the surprise color change magic at a different time.

It was so beautiful! When it turned that vibrant blue, it was so gorgeous! And then when I added the lemon! It was a real crowd pleaser at parties.

Gently lemon-flavored, and the blue to purple is so much fun! Yes, it's mostly novelty + science, but I like it.

Absolutely amazing tea. Love the special blue color.

It smells amazing. It tastes good but not as amazing. However, it's fun and different and I'm glad I got it. I tried mixing it with green tea and it was good that way too!

The color is so pretty and allows me to indulge my inner child by letting me pretend I m drinking a magic potion. but be forewarned that it can and will stain any porous surface it gets on. Just make sure you wipe away your spill quickly and throw your clothes in the wash.

LOVE THIS TEA!! I bought 6 bags of it when it was available and I’m so glad I did. Definitely get notes of blueberry and lemongrass. It kinda tastes like fruity pebbles cereal, but in the best way possible. Bonus points for it being blue.

I love lemongrass so much. This was really good hot with some lemon juice but I'd love to try it iced too.
★★★★★
So delicious! The color is pretty with out the lemon and with the lemon even prettier. Nice fruity taste not overwhelming and just the right amount of sweet. So wish I bought more. So sad I have to wait till the next full moon.

What a gorgeous tea this is. Bright lemongrass notes, a huge blueberry scent and flavor, and such a sweet natural taste. I had a free sample of rock sugar in my order, and wow did that amp it up! I added a little lemon juice and the delightful blue turned purple and created a nice flavorful zing. It is a delicious, relaxing tea. Very fruity and pleasant. It s sort of what I imagine the color blue to taste like. Totally worth waiting for!

This stuff is fun, and tastes GREAT. It turns a lovely blue when brewed.

Was excited to receive this today! I've had it in my wish list for months now. The color change is extremely fun! I got the kit that came with the mug and the IngenuiTEA maker, which made brewing it even better, because I could watch the whole process. Flavor-wise, it's a nice lemon-blueberry. Very enjoyable. Took pics to show my friends. Everyone's enchanted.

My daughter is obsessed with this tea! I have tried to order this every time it is available just so I can have a ready supply for her. I love that with just a splash of lemon you can watch the color change from blue to the pinkish purple tone. I also find this to be a refreshing type of tea that is great both hot or cold.

I truly had wondered if this tea was just going to be gimmicky and over hyped, boy was I wrong! The flavor alone is fantastic, add some cream and it’s out of this world.

This is by far one of the coolest teas I’ve had. Although the flavor is pretty standard, the color makes up for it. The blue is gorgeous and so is the purple when you add in lemon juice!

I'm not usually a big fan of herbal tea, bit to is tea has a great full flavor and is beautiful as well. Always excited when the blue moon comes around and I can restock.
★★★★☆
Not my absolute favorite, but it definitely scratches an itch for a lemongrass-foward, herbaceous-y tea. Definitely worth picking up when you have the opportunity!
★★★★★
This is simply the best tea ever! My brother introduced this tea to me a couple of years ago at Thanksgiving and I was hooked. When I started to recently get into loose leaf tea I had to ask him where he got it from so I could get more. Love the blueberry flavor with the lemongrass. Everyone in the family loves it and now stocked up till it's offered next year.

This tea is subtle which is perfect for relaxing late at night under a full moon. I had never heard of butterfly pea flower before trying this tea, and I'm obsessed with it now! I was pleasantly surprised to watch it turn as blue as the pictures promised! I'll have to try it with lemon soon to watch the color change and test how it affects the flavor.
★★★★★
This tea is amazing! You can really taste the lemongrass and the blueberries. They go well together. Plus, I can t get over that beautiful indigo color! I can t wait to try it with lemon juice. Really glad I was able to buy a couple of packs of this tea since it ll be a while before it comes back again.

Not only does this tea look beautiful, both the super vibrant blue color and the delightful violet it turns when you add a little lemon, but it's also delicious.

Wonderful and crisp. Great as an iced tea with a fresh lemony flavor.

I'm going to have to carefully ration this until next year, or else I might drink the whole thing. This is a delightfully fruity herbal tea that was well worth the impulse buy.

Today, I tried this tea for the first time and I love it. I typically don’t like fruit teas but this tastes like fruit loops cereal. Out of all of the teas that I’ve tasted this is one of my favorites. The blue color is gorgeous. I added one teaspoon of Adagio’s honey for fruit tisanes to it. I wish I would have ordered more.

I ordered this because I thought it was kind of fun that it’s for sale only on days of a “blue moon.”
I normally go for sweet flavors or plain black, so this was a bit off my usual “beaten path.”
The aroma is a mixture of blueberry and lemongrass. The tea is a dark blue color, which is neat to look at. I added honey and milk and it had a fruity flavor.
I’ll most likely buy this again at the next blue moon.

Very tasty tea, and I love the blue color. I sweetened slightly with a little German Rock sugar.

The color change was amazing but the flavor of the tea itself was somewhat lacking until mixed with the lemonade. However this tea with a bit of lemonade? Spot on!

This was a fun tea to try! Definitely enjoyed the color change when I added a squirt of lemon. Mostly bought it for the novelty of having blue tea but I definitely liked the taste as well. Adding honey made it perfect.

I knew the blue color would be fun with this tea, but I was pleasantly surprised with how much I liked it. I usually add sweetener to my tea, but did not need it with this tea. Love the lemongrass flavor, but hate that I clearly did not purchase enough to last until the next blue moon!

This is the best thing you can buy on Adagio. Zero competition - this is a perfect, perfect, PERFECT cup of tea.

This is good, but my advice is to NOT use too much tea. I like to make strong tea with a lower leaf to water ratio. It s much better weaker than it is strong! Much sweeter. I experimented with it a lot today, and it tastes lovely with honey and lemon juice.

Sweet, refreshing, and of course very pretty and cool to watch the color change. From past reviews I was afraid that I’d find the flavor too light, but it was flavorful and delicious with lemon. Wish I’d bought more to have as a decaf option ... guess I know for next time!

I was FINALLY able to purchase and try this tea - and I love it! Let me start off by saying I'm not a big herbal tea drinker, and I was a little concerned I wouldn't like it, not only because of that, but I had tried another herbal tea that had butterfly pea flower in it's ingredients (which i didn't like at all) and I noticed it had slightly similar reviews to this one. However, I am a big fan of the exclusive Earl Grey Bella Luna blend, and decided that this blue moon would be the one I'd finally take a chance on the Bella Luna Blue blend - and I'm so glad I did!
I tried it plain and it tasted almost like fruity pebbles. I added two teaspoons of honey and it really bumped that Fruity Pebbles flavor up a notch - so good! I love the deep blue color of the tea, but I added a little bit of lemon to experiment and had the pleasure of watching it change into another beautiful color (so cool!). The lemon did change the flavor a bit, and I think it helped bring out the taste of the lemon grass, but it was still sweet and delicious.
The blueberry, lemon grass, and butterfly pea flower blend so well together - It makes a smooth, sweet and lemony taste. I normally prefer caffinated teas, but this would be a perfect tea to sit back with and enjoy - maybe even while moon gazing. :P I'm so glad I bought the big bundle and I will definitely have to purchase more on the next blue moon.

The blue color is the best part about this tea. It s fun, it s neutral tasting so it can be mixed with plenty of things for a fun cocktail, and it tastes pretty nice on it s own! I prefer it with a little lemon, but it s very nice as it is. Very glad to have ordered enough to keep me through the next year!

Not bad, not bad. The first impression is the color. It's a nice and dark blue. The kind of thing you don't expect tea to look like. It's definitely a fun novelty.
When you pour it, it smells like Fruit Loops! Not in a bad way... Drinking it is similar. It tastes a lot like Fruit Loops, which then fizzles out and you taste more lemongrass. I didn't use sugar or anything, just plain hot tea, but I found it quite enjoyable.
