This tea isn't bad, but it also isn't even okay considering I can barely even taste it. The first time I brewed I used 2 tsp and 6 minutes, and it literally just tasted like water. I used an entire tablespoon and a half of tea and steeped it for 8 minutes next time and still could barely taste anything at all. Even adding lemon juice did nothing to bring out the flavor, and just tasted like plain water with lemon juice in it. It's very disappointing because it smells enchanting and looks beautiful.
Update: Tried this again using 2 full tablespoons of tea (i.e. six times the recommended amount, which is ridiculous) and the flavor finally came through. It's a subtly sweet, soft but notable flavor and you can definitely taste the blueberry once you get the tea to announce itself in the cup. I love this flavor passionately but I'm extremely disappointed with how much of it I have to use to even taste it, especially with how long I waited to even be able to buy it. I'd recommend saving your money for something else.

This was a nice change from my usual black tea selection

Basically lemongrass tea, at least that's my take. It tastes good and definitely lives up to the 'blue' part of its name.

I was a little worried this tea might underwhelm me, since the mango blue was my least favorite of the iced teas I've tried but am glad I took the chance on this blend while it was available. The floral element is anchored nicely by the lemongrass into a smoothly harmonious mix. A worthy choice beyond the delightful novelty of the color.

Though mostly purchased for novelty, I actually quite enjoyed this tea! It s very simple - lemongrass with blueberry flavoring. If you don t like either of those things, don t buy it the next time it rolls around. For everyone else, however, it s a very pleasant, fruity tea that makes a great looking iced Arnold Palmer!

I drank it hot two ways: one with vanilla soy, the other with lemon and a little stevia. Both the BF and I preferred the lemon, but having it as a latte was still good. I then let some with the lemon get to room temp and it was even better. Def gonna try it actually iced next.

wow this tea is delicious. I was skeptical after the I was not thrilled with the bella moon purchase.
This tea was more than I could have imagined. The blue color is also very cool

This is really good! I don't know what I was expecting - everyone said it was.great - but I'm surprised how much I like it. It's very...kind of fruity, kind of lemony. Just good!

This is so light and lemony! Plus the color is so fun. I like it with just a small wedge of lemon to really pop the lemon flavor, plus change the color to purple. Also good iced.

I love the delicate flavor and am so fond of the color!

It's good, but you have to put A LOT of tea in it in order to taste any of the flavor at all. Kind of disappointing in that regard.

The dry tea smells really funky to me: like if someone left pomegranates and lemons out in the sun for too long and then turned it into an artificial powder? Totally strange. However, freshly brewed it smells just like lemon Trix cereal.
I was really surprised at how *dark* blue the tea was after just 3 out-of-14 minutes into steeping. I have butterfly pea flowers at home and sometimes add them to tea, but I suppose that this mix has such a high amount of flowers that the color really gets to shine.
Similar to how it smells, the tea tastes like lemon Trix, and has a distinctly fullbodied mouthfeel. After it sits for a little while, almost bubblegum-like flavors emerge, and later the blueberry. The mild balance of sweetness and tartness is well done; I don't like it at all with added lemon juice (way too tart) though the color change is cool.
I'd like to try brewing this in something like coconut water to add just a tad more plushness and sweetness . . . or I could make ice cream with this . . .

The flavor of lemongrass with the fun of butterfly pea flower! I didn't get any of the blueberry flavor but I still live the lemongrass

Delicious scent and a light blueberry lemon flavor. I get more lemon blueberry than I do lemongrass, perhaps because of the tang of the blueberry. This is fine by me as I am not the biggest lemongrass fan. I do get the butterfly pea blossom flavor that lingers a little after the other flavors. However, if I hadn t tasted butterfly pea flower before I don t think I would have recognized it. To me it tastes like a light, round, floral tea flavor. I don t take sugar with my ta, but imagine it would be delicious with a little bit! I will be buying this again in August and in a bigger size!

This tea smells SO good in the bag and after you brew it it's GORGEOUS! Just be careful not to add too much lemon like my friends and i did. It was still tasty though.
Second time i brewed this tea i didn't add nearly as much lemon but added some honey. It's mild when you first sip it but it has a nice fruity aftertaste. I was a little iffy about the blueberry since it's not often a flavor i like, but it was nice and somewhat sweet on its own; even before i added the honey.
I really like to let the tea cool before i drink it because i feel that helps bring out the flavors more.
Even if it wasn't tasty, the experience is fun!
Will be buying again when it's available!

The blue coloring of this very limited time product is especially appealing. You will notice it instantly as it becomes darker and fuller over time. The aroma is a very pleasant citrus, as enhanced by the color-changing lemon (or lime). The flavor is very calming and pleasant!
Definitely give this spectacular product a try.

I have been looking forward to trying this magical tea and it did not disappoint! It was so fun watching the windex-blue color develop, and then transforming it into deep purple with a few drops of lemon was the best! It tastes fruity and light and I am super happy I went for it! Definitely will be buying more on the next blue moon :)

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this tea! I swear if you add lemon and honey it tasted like a blue raspberry jolly rancher a little bit! But without lemon it s just as good! The description says to add lemon to see a change but adding honey does the same things because honey is also acidic just an fyi! Be careful not to let this tea drip on anything though it stains like crazy! It definitely makes up for it with its gorgeous blue to purple color, amazing smell and comforting taste though!

One of our favorites for a long time - we've been bringing it out when we have guests over to show it off, and we got more than usual when it came back this year because several friends requested it! Sweet, mild, and vividly colorful.

Now this is interesting! The dark blue color is gorgeous! And when you add a little lemon juice it turns a beautiful purple!
As for flavor, strong blueberry notes. I brewed it at the minimum recommended 7 minutes but next time I’ll try 10 minutes as the flavor was weak. Not a great tea, just OK. Don’t think I’d buy it again.

A most unusual and 'magic' tea! The flavor is wonderful and the color is magnificent! A tea for sitting somewhere at night enjoying the gentle light of the full moon and the warm beverage. The color is incomparable ...a deep blue or blue/purple, a little lighter than the night sky. Being able to acquire it only at the time of a Blue Moon makes it a rare treasure.
I use 1 heaping tsp/cup with no sweetener and I love it.

It's an herbal, which is great for me wanting a cup of tea after work but it does take a while to steep. I got it mostly for the fun factor, but actually I love the blueberry flavor. It tastes best with a dash of lemon and some sugar, though: it turns into a sort of purple blueberry lemonade at that point.
★★★★☆
This tea is fun and tastes like a good tart, lemony herbal tea. After reading reviews about it not having much flavor, I used more dry leaves than called for, and it came out great. A nice dark blue with a strong lemongrass flavor. And after adding a bit of lemon juice as suggested, it really kicked up the tart, lemon taste. I also enjoyed having just the lemon, with no other fruity components. It is soothing and great as a bedtime tea. I could also see reaching for this when not feeling great and wanting a warm lemony, hot beverage with some honey added.

Light, 'Fruity Pebbles' flavor which is nice. The best part is the color! It s just a really fun tea to have around, bonus that it tastes good.

Love this tea! The pretty unusual color is an added bonus to the taste. Taste has a bit of mild citrus flavor from the lemongrass and sweetness from the florals. I will try with additional lemon the next time I make this tea. A fun buy for our October blue moon!)

With all the “only available once in a blue moon” hype, I figured I’d better try this, and since the next blue moon isn’t for 3 years, I got a 6-pack, just in case. So it came, and I tried it. After steeping, it looks like toilet water. That’s not a bad thing — just amusing.
Then I took a sip.
Sweet. Flavorful. Fruity. Probably doesn’t taste like toilet water (I wouldn’t know). Wow, I have a new favorite decaf tea!
Wait a minute! I have to make this 6-pack of tea last for THREE MATCHA FORMOSA YEARS?!? That is so wrong.
Well, it’ll be nice while it lasts, and I’ve already set multiple alarms for the next blue moon to stock up.

I first encountered this style of tea years before I had ever heard of Adagio. It was on the menu at a Greenwich Village Thai restaurant, and even under dinnertime mood lighting the deep indigo color from the butterfly pea flowers was showstopping. Adagio's version kicks it up a notch by infusing the lemon grass with blueberry flavor; the scent in the communiTEA portion packet wasn't quite as attention-grabbing as it is in the full container, but there's no mistaking it when you open the 1.5 oz bag. This blend is truly worthy of being a once-in-a-blue-moon offering. It's delicious both hot and iced, both sweetened and plain. Oh, and make sure you check out the bottom of the bag. ;-)

There's something almost artificial tasting about this tea. I wanted to totally love it, but it fell short. Points for the blue pea flowers because they're super fun, but I have another blend with them that I prefer more. I'm glad I got a chance to try it out since it's so hard to get a hold of, but it'll probably last me until the next blue moon.

The color is really fun! Flavor-wise, however, I found it a little lackluster. The berry flavor is not one I especially like, but fortunately it's pretty weak; mostly it takes like lemongrass.

I was concerned that the 'fruity pebbles' flavor mentioned by other reviewers would be too much for me. It turns out I needn t have worried since the flavor is incredibly light. Too light, really, as in there isn t much flavor. But the color is absolutely beautiful and unique so giving it four stars anyway.
