One of my favorite teas. A flavor that's hard to pin down. Light, mild roast.
Green tea from the slopes of the Taimu Mountains in Fujian, China. The delicate, unopened buds appear perfectly white against the young, opened green leaves. Warm colored liquor with a fresh, almost wildflower sweet scent and slightly dry finish.

One of my favorite teas. A flavor that's hard to pin down. Light, mild roast.
It s a mild green tea, not particularly a favorite or a standout, but it s definitely drinkable.
I love the slightly sweet and warm flavor without a bitter bite on the end. This is my Go-To morning tea. I have taken to mixing this with and equal part Blood Orange and Serving it Iced in the summer. It was a huge hit at the party I took the blend to.
This is my favorite green tea. It has a very floral, herbal scent to it, and a delicate taste that I just can't get enough of. But the scent is really the best part of White Monkey. When I first opened the package, I was convinced they had accidentally sent me a blended green tea. I do two tsp per cup, and it's good for three or more short infusions. I do 30 seconds to a minute for the first infusion, really only about 15 seconds for the second, and back to 30 seconds to a minute on the third. Bottom line: if you like delicate green teas, White Monkey should be on your wishlist!
I'm sorry, this was awful. Maybe for some people, but it's not for me. I read the description thinking it would be a bit more like gunpowder but that was not what I got. It was a bit like drinking dirt and my coworker described it as 'chum in a cup'. I actually threw away the rest of the bag and couldn't even make it through one full cup. There's a reason I start with sampler sizes!
I d never had this tea before and find it very, very nice. I ll be buying this again.
A simple, clean white! Subtle notes and refreshing to the palette.
I tried this tea based on reviews and fell in love. This is the tea I serve guests. The light, airy coloring and delicate taste is so satisfying.
One of the best and easiest to drink green teas I've had.
Pretty much my go to for everyday tea. I like it’s smooth taste and it is not grassy nor oat mealie. Don’t over steep as it can get bitter.
Very light-tasting tea, but whatever it contains, it is now my substitute for coffee. It keeps me smoothly and steadily awake, without the jittery adrenaline jump/crash of coffee.
Excellent! The name implies a,white tea, but this is a rich green.
Excellent mild and dry on the end. Pleasing very light color with more flavor than I expected
my favorite tea in the bunch. I brew it 180 degrees for 2-3 minutes and it is perfect.
love it.
This 'White Monkey' tea is unique as a GREEN tea..
im not a big fan of green tea, but the description sounded interesting so thought id give it a try. very good, not 'grassy' like other green teas that ive tried
This green tea is definitely one of the more interesting kinds of green tea I’ve had. I added some sugar in the raw to my cup and it was a really nice morning pick-me-up.
Not an overpowering Tea, or very strong, very pleasant
Not a favorite but still good add a little cream and will be good to go.
Please buy this only if you want to drink a cup of hot water. There is no flavor whatsoever to this tea. This tea gets 5 stars for assisting in hydration. Zero for flavor.
Very light flavor tea. I usually like stronger tasting teas but this one is a nice change every once in a while. I do agree with other reviewers that mentioned ore tea is needed to get a good amount of flavor.
I liked this tea, but it's definitely one that I can only have a few times before I need to switch it up. The taste got a bit old pretty quickly and is overall not one of my favorites. I tend to like stronger flavors, though, so this would probably be perfect for someone who likes lighter teas.
I love white monkey green tea. It has a mild, smooth flavor I enjoy.
Excellent tea! If you like white teas, you'll love this!
My husband's favorite! I have yet to try this one because he drinks it so fast. I had better hurry this time!
Not a very strong tea, quite forgiving with steeping times and I ll try it again with a bit more tea but it s just not particularly memorable for me. It s more vegetal than grassy, a very light and clean flavour. Very gentle seaweed taste in the background. It s an okay tea, but I can t really say more than thay.
Light and forgiving with brewing time. Not bitter nor astringent for a green tea. Definitely would buy again.
This tea is light and slightly sweet. It has a good green flavor, but not overly astringent and grassy. My Favorite.
Very delicate, but it got more savory the more I sipped on it. I like grassier, more robust greens, but I m sure this will suit others.
This is another tea that makes a very drinkable cup
Absolutely lovely for an afternoon pick me up... I have it at work all the time.
I liked this tea added with my green tea the best.
This is sooo smooth, light & good! I will be ordering more.
I love this green tea! Not too strong or too light, it's just right!
I like this tea a lot, but it's important, I think, not to over-steep it or under-steep it. I notice a flavor change beyond 2:40, but due to the delicacy and lightness of its flavor, under 2:00 can render the taste barely discernable.
Love this tea!!! I use this in my own custom blend along with Ceylon Sonata, Golden Monkey, and Green Pekoe...Mmmmm...Delicious every time!!!
A really smooth green tea that has wonderful flavor.
This is a great evening tea. Crisp and clean finish.
Literally one of my favorite green teas I have tried from Adagio. If brewed properly (short brew time, lower temperature), it is an amazing, mild, refreshing tea that isn't at all bitter. It also isn't overwhelmingly vegetal/grassy, like some green teas. Yum!
did not try this - was given as a gift and I exchanged for a different flavor
This had to be one of my favorites. It had a wonderful taste
So light and refreshing, pretty forgiving if you oversteep it.
This is my favorite green tea! Not too grassy or dirty flavor as you get with some plain green teas.
I absolutely love the White Monkey!! One of my all time favorite green teas!! Love it!!!
A friend had some of this tea and made a cup for my fiancé and I, and we both liked it so much that I decided we should purchase some. It makes a nice fragrant cup of a lighter green with a mild vegetal taste (not a strong grassy taste). We're quite fond of it :)
A refreshing crisp and light flavor. A good alternative to more full-bodied teas.
It's a very good tea, though you need to use a bit more than other types as it's pretty light. I went through it pretty fast.
I really liked this tea. It has a very light scent that to me is almost spicy and a very pleasant full flavor.
I've seen this described at subtle and yea, I m inclined to agree. Honestly, it tastes like every single green tea I have ever had like ever. Worth trying once, but I wouldn t buy this one too frequently.
Update: It actually got better with another brew. I don't know if it was the temp or time, but it seemed to have aged quite well. Tastes like peach green tea now and it's quite good.
It has a nice, friendly flavor. Not as overwhelming as some teas.
