One of my favorite green teas;very mild & unweedy, almost like a white tea. I also like the idea of drinking a tea called 'white monkey.' I will buy this tea again.
Green tea from the slopes of the Taimu Mountains in Fujian, China. The delicate, unopened buds appear perfectly white against the young, opened green leaves. Warm colored liquor with a fresh, almost wildflower sweet scent and slightly dry finish.

Is becoming one of my favorites. I have found giving the tea leaves lots of room to expand in a glass pot and pouring the water over the leaves just as the water begins a soft roll towards a boil produces a non-bitter brew. Plus I only let it steep for two minutes. Not grassy with a 2 minute brew.
Before drinking this tea, I had never really liked many green teas before. I usually drink white and black tea and now have started experimenting with green teas due to white monkey's full flavor. Unlike my previous encounters with green tea, this one is not grassy tasting.
this one was good too, but again, it tases like a few of the other teas i already have.
this was a pretty good green, but even after several attempts using different water temps and tea measurements, i wasn't able to get any sweetness out of it. that aside, it was nice and balanced.
Cool, but not my favorite of the white teas. I like the regular monkey better, and this is pretty pricey. Looks nice though.
The white monkey is very smooth but also full flavored. It's better than any other green tea I've had so far.
Wonderful, best green tea I've ever tasted! Ordering a larger size right now!
Super delicious afternoon tea. Smooth. light and tasty.
Similar to the snowbud. Nice mild white tea. I'd recommend it if you like white teas.
I will order this again. It's mellow and a littly nutty. This may be my new favorite green tea.
Very good green tea. I'm not to into the typical 'grassy' note of most greens, but those are all elliminated in this tea.
Delightful and refreshing vegetable flavor! Tastes like a white tea. I can drink this one at night and still get to sleep on time (i think). I re-order this one all the time and drink it when I'm in the mood for a soothing beverage without the caffiene rush.
*Way* too earthy & grassy tasting for me. DH thought it tasted like alfalfa smells. I did not enjoy this.
Lightly flavored and clean. Be prepared to use a good amount of tea to make a good cup.
This is probably good for white tea, but I don't think I like white tea.
I love this tea! I don't particularly like green teas but this one is wonderful. It doesn't have the 'vegetable' taste of other greens.
I liked this tea but didn't love it. If you really enjoy white tea, then forget this review. These are very smooth and mild, but I prefer something stronger.
This was my favorite tea out of my first order. It has a very slight grassy flavor, which I like, and is quite smooth. Quality tea.
If you're looking for an all-around tea that goes well with a meal, this is it. It has enough flavor on it's own, but doesn't overpower the taste of the food.
A lighter colored green. Light like a pi lo chun or something along those lines. If you're going to get a chinese green get the Green Anji or the Dragonwell instead.
Not my favorite tea for drinking, but I don't regret trying it. Works wonderfully as an addition to my cooking as well.
Very subtle fine leaves. Flavor profiles are as delicate. Nice early morning, ease into tea, or later afternoon sipping. Tried as iced tea, little too mild.
This seems to be almost completely devoid of flavor. I found myself wondering whether I was tasting the tea or just impurities in the water.
This is my favorite green tea. Has a nice sweet taste to it.
I loved this tea. Just the right hint of sweetness mixed with the vegetal green flavor which I love. Please get some more in!
A very uplifting and inspiring tea. Goes great with a lite snack or a special treat.
I like good green tea, and this one is great. It doesn't taste as grassy or hay like as some greens.
The leaves themselves are beutiful, thin and fuzzy and wirey - steeping to a perfect matte lime green.
The flavor is subtler than sencha or gunpowder, but far from nonexistant. It is not bitter or astringent, just pleasently sweet, sour, and a bit grassy. A great solo tea to relax with.
This is my favorite green tea. It has a real light flavor. If the taste isn't good enough reason to try, just look at the name...White Monkey. I highly recommend this one to any black tea drinkers that would like to try a green tea.
I did not like this tea. Had a very strong 'spinachy' flavor that stayed with me every sip of the way.
Seemed to have very little taste at all. Too subtle for my palate.
I found it had no flavor. I tried a few different ways of making it all came out the same. No Flavor.
A nice green tea. It has a hint of pine in the aroma and offers a smooth cup.
A sweet, nutty flavor with no grassiness. Closer to what I'd expect from a fine white tea. If you like white or nutty green teas, don't pass up on this one.
This is in my top three. I love the mild flavor. It is not bitter and has no after taste. I combine it often with Silver needle, Chamomile, and even peppermint. Silver needle is my fav, but this one is still great, esp for the price.
I tried a small sample and liked this a lot. Delicate green tea leaning towards white tea flavor, a little on the sweet side.
Honestly, I thought this tea tasted just like spinach (and although I'm normally a fan of the vegetable, it just didn't work for me as tea). Really, though, I'm not much of a green tea drinker to begin with, so it's probably me, not the tea.
It has a very light taste and is not overpowering like some green teas.
A light, refreshing tea. My grandmother really liked this tea, so I gave it to her.
Somewhat bland, but nice green tea taste. I prefer dragonwell to this, but it's pretty good.
A nice light and sweet Chinese green tea. Although with that being said I can not taste any difference in it compared to Dragonwell which I'd recommend going with instead because its a bit cheaper.
Very mild color and taste. Not bad at all, but would probably order something more flavorful next time.
This tea is technically considered a green tea, but it reminds me a lot of a white tea. The tea is light but still has great taste and is a well balanced cup
Another great white tea. I little stronger than some of the other whites that I like, but very good.
Oh, how I love my white monkey! It's light and airy and just a great tea when you want something light that won't overpower you..AWESOME tea!!
Smells awful, but tastes good. Tastes like real authentic green tea.
One of my most-fun-to-look at teas. Has a great light, sweet, almost flowery taste.
One of my new favorite teas, its subtle and smooth like a white tea. Its also very flexable with time/water temp and amount, not as picky like the finer green teas.
I didn't care for the white monkey as much as some other green teas I've had from this site. It was lighter bodied than I'm used to and seemed a little bitter to me.
