This is a smooth, soothing tea that makes a perfect cup before I settle into bed.
Green tea from the slopes of the Taimu Mountains in Fujian, China. The delicate, unopened buds appear perfectly white against the young, opened green leaves. Warm colored liquor with a fresh, almost wildflower sweet scent and slightly dry finish.

This is a smooth, soothing tea that makes a perfect cup before I settle into bed.
This is a very, very good light green tea. It has a sweet aftertaste that makes it especially enjoyable. Definitely a very nice mid-day tea, and I will definitely be reordering.
very nice complex flavor. Only available in sampler size, too bad.
Nothing spectacular here, but nothing unpleasant either. Sweeter than most gree teas.
One of my favorite green teas. Its sweet, subtle flavor is more reminiscent of white teas. Goes really well with grilled seafood.
This one didn't strike me at first, but is quickly becoming a favorite. It is light and refreshing, and this from someone who normally avoids the word 'refreshing' at all costs. This tea does a great job of cooling me down after physical exertion. It's excellent iced, as well. It reminds me of a lighter Biluochun, although not as complex.
This is a very nice, subtle tea. I wouldn't mind having this everyday, it has light and comforting flavor. Also good with or without sweetener.
Seemed to be a slightly lighter and less expensive version of green anji, but still quite good.
This is a good mellower green tea. Nice if you want a lighter cup of tea.
Not that special, but it does make a nice milder version of green tea. The leaves look very cool though.
enjoy this light tea, do not let the color fool you, it taste very good.
A tasty and mellow tea with no bitterness and oddly slender leaves once they've unfurled
I don't really know what to say about this one. It was just different. I don't know if I did something wrong when I steeped it, but it didn't have much flavor to me.
Very nice simple green tea. Great with a little sweetner.
A very nice white tea. Interesting flavor and name!
I specifically ordered this tea because it came in my first sampler I ordered from Adagio...and I obviously loved it or I wouldnt have bought a can of it. I would recommend this and the hallowed silver needle to anyone who wants to get a taste of what 'real' white tea is supposed to taste like. Absolutely terrific!!
Sweet and YUMMY!! Loved the taste... Great for green tea beginners.
This is the most drinkable and refreshing green tea I've tried, and it's serving its purpose of getting me back onto green teas quite well. Originally I was drinking this with a tiny amount of sugar out of habit but quickly learned it doesn't require such. It's naturally sweet, very smooth and palatable, and has made me hooked on green tea, which previously had never been a favourite. Very high quality, and quite delicious!
This was a very light cup of tea that was a joy to drink.
A little stronger taste than I like, but still a good tea.
A good, light green tea. I especially like this one mixed with a little herbal peppermint.
THIS IS A GOOD ALTERNATIVE GREEN, BETTER THAN MOST BUT NOT QUITE MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE. HOWEVER, I KEEP THIS ON HAND OVER MOST OTHER GREENS. IT IS SMOOTH AND NOT TOO WEAK TASTING AND IT DOES NOT TASTE LIKE GRASS LIKE SOME OF THE OTHER GREENS DO. THE TASTE IS PURE AND HOLDS UP. REMEMBER IT IS A GREEN TEA, NOT A WHITE TEA.
This tea was amazing and had a great after-flavor! Nothing was needed to be added to mkae it great!
Very smooth and mild. Great first thing in the morning - easily one of my favorite greens. I'll be getting more of this.
Very subtle, nice to drink when you have time to quietly enjoy the cup (usually I am running out the door, sloshing a travel mug with hairpins flying!)
it's a little on the lighter side, maybe a morning tea
Not crazy about it, but it is enjoyable enough. I prefer pomegranate green.
Nice sweet taste. This tea packs loosely so if you plan on ordering it, go for a larger tin that you normally would.
One of my favorites. It has a wonderfull light sweet flavor to it.
I have to admit, one of the reasons I bought this tea was because I like the name. But I'm very glad that I got it. Good flavor. A nice everyday tea.
This is a refreshing green tea. It has a nice light taste.
Once again, I'm really disappointed that I just can't take to a green tea. This one was my favorite of the ones I've tried, as it was less grassy, but still required a bit of sweetener.
Very different green tea, for I almost forgot that it was a green (in a good way)! I appreciated the complexity in the flavour, and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good brew of fine tea!
My first taste of green tea. Very light taste and was pretty good.
This is one of my favorite teas. I am so fond of it I bought the big 'ol bag for myself as a Christmas present. Excellent by itself or with a little milk and sugar.
Pleased, but not ecstatic with the flavor. Still a very good white tea.
Great tea, will reorder and have shared with my friends.
Despite my preferene for flavored greens, I loved this tea. Its natural flavor is unmatched, leaving a honey-like aftertaste that is both light and sweet. I find the taste comes out better at medium temperatures, not hot.
A subtle green tea that is a refreshing morning drink but a better 'meal' tea.
Eh, green teas aren't really my thing. Taste a little like grass...not terrible, but not great.
Not a white tea fan after all. For those that like white tea, this may be a fine tea, but I found myself wishing for a green or oolong while sipping this.
I wanted to try something new, so I got this. It is good, but not my favorite.
This surprised me. I'm not much of a green tea fan. But to my palate, White Monkey tasted very much like a richer, 'thicker' Silver Needle. Not exactly subtle, and not quite refined, but not in-your-face. Definitely sweet (honey overtone?) Perhaps very slightly fruity or floral (but not in an Earl Grey or Jasmine way - both of which I find too unpleasantly over-the-top 'perfumey').
Very slightly grassy, but not objectionably so (as a comparison, I intensely disliked gyokuro, which I find very grassy).
Not a must-have for me, but a really good tea with (I think) something for most everyone. A splendid complement to a heavy Asian meal
I've only had this tea a couple times, but I can already tell that I enjoy it. I don't think I've been steeping it correctly, unless it's normal for it have a very very extremely LIGHT taste.
Previously before getting this tea i had only ever have sencha overature, and i have to say that this tea offers a lighter and cleaner flavor. Along with this order i got a huge amount of sencha overature, but i think next time i will get more of White Monkey rather than sencha.
So yeah, this tea is clean, slightly sweet, and lack that 'grassy' taste that is characteristic of most green teas
White monkey is where its at for greens. It is not like any other green and tastes closer to a white tea. White monkey you take my breath away. I give it 5 razzleby dazzlebys.
This is definitely my favorite tea out of everything I have tried from Adagio.com.
This is good for entertaining as everything watches this tea with amazement
Good for green tea, though green tea is not my norm.
My mom's favorite tea. I'm not sure why it's considered a green as it's almost like a white tea. Probably my favorite green tea. Get a sample and you'll be hooked.
