★★★☆☆

I had high hopes for this one but after several cups the verdict is that I don't enjoy it. It smells like chocolate liqueur but doesn't taste particularly chocolatey. More of a 'I know I'm drinking tea but I can't place the flavor' feeling. If you're looking for a dark tea with chocolate tones that reminds you more of coffee like I was, a pu-erh blend is probably better for that.

Very rich, with a stronger chocolate taste than plain chocolate. Needs sugar to keep from being too bitter.

I wanted to like this one more than I did. I bought it to serve at a tea party for friends, and unfortunately, it was one of the least favorite of the whole affair. The trouble is that this tea oversteeps very quickly, and turns bitter beyond belief when left too long. Perhaps this would be better in smaller quantities, such as single serve mugs that I could remove the strainer from quickly. As it was, this won t be a repeat for me.

★★★★★

No doubt- Desert in a mug! Love it with a touch of sweetener. Cozy way to start the morning!

★★★★★

Pretty darn tasty! A nice replacement for my mochas. I think I use too much and steep too long though. I still like it. It smells really great as well.

★★★☆☆

I really wanted to like this one. It smells amazing in the bag. But I have to mix it with something else to make it taste like something other than plain, bitter black tea.

Delicious chocolate flavor. I usually mix with Darjeeling to make this last.

Chocolate was a little artificial-tasting but I still enjoyed.

★★★★★

Loved this Chocolate Truffle tea. I also enjoyed it mixed with the decaf Hazelnut Cinnamon Creme.

★★★★★

I m going to have to hide this one from my daughter-- it s like dessert in tea form!

★★★★☆

It really does taste like chocolate! It pairs perfectly with deserts and sweet breakfasts.

★★★★★

This is my new favorite tea. It's like a healthy hot chocolate!

★★★★★

This is the best chocolate tea I've ever had. Tried several chocolate teas during the last year, but Adagio hit it out of the park with this one.

★★★★★

I am in love with this tea. I use it as a dessert to cut down my sweet tooth! 👍🏼

★★★★★

An absolute staple for when you need your chocolate fix, I love making this into a hot or iced latte and I also use it for an add on to other teas I may want to add chocolate to.

★★★★★

Chocolate teas usually end up disappointing me but this one is just amazing. Lots of chocolate flavor. Great as a latte.

★★★★★

A very lovely tea in which enjoy often in the morning

★★★★☆

Really rich and tasty. Best mixed with other teas -- in my opinion. It s still good on it s own though.

Chocolate taste comes thru. Perfect with a little cream. Can become bitter fast

★★★☆☆

Not one of my favorites. I guess I would rather eat my chocolate than drink it.

Just the right amount of chocolate to satisfy chocolate lovers.

Loved this tea. The chocolate flavor makes it fulfill my craving every time.

★★★★★

It's good but doesn't taste any different from the chocolate tea

★★★★★

I have tried all the Adagio chocolate teas, and I like this one best. It has the richest chocolate flavor while still maintaining the flavor of tea. I add a few sugar crystals (to enhance the chocolate and mellow the tea) and a bit of cream.

It is one of my favorites. It has a rich flavor and who does not love a chocolate truffle.

★★★☆☆

I usually love chocolate teas, but I didn't really care for this one. I felt like it had a really strong flavor, but it wasn't the chocolate that I was picking up on.

another favorite, has a nice, strong chocolate flavor

★★★★☆

This tea is good, but I think I prefer chocolate flavored black tea with other flavors combined.

★★★☆☆

I found that I do not like ke this tea when it is hot, but as it cooled it started tasting SOOO much better. It will be yummy this summer as an iced latte.

★★★★☆

Pretty tasty! Still looking for the best way to bring out the flavor and see what the hype is about, but I've enjoyed it so far.

★★★★★

Exceedingly good. Not to sweet, and not overpowering in fake chocolate like some chocolate teas can be.

★★★☆☆

Nice flavor but not as strong a chocolate flavor as I expected. Rather subtle. Nice for a treat once in a while.

Love this tea so much. Very rich chocolate taste. Would buy again!

★★★★★

This tea has a delectable taste! It is chocolatey and sweet without being too over the top.

★★★★☆

While I don’t think this is a bad tea, I don’t find it much different from the chocolate chip tea. I wish both were a little stronger on the chocolate. Adding milk did help a little with the chocolate taste. Adding sugar would probably help more, but drinking tea is how I cut back on drinking Coke.

I wanted more chocolate but it’s a very good tea.

This is fantastic. If you enjoy the seasonal Irish Stout, you will like this.

This chocolate lover really enjoyed Chocolate Truffle. A nice taste of chocolate as an perfect alternative to hot cocoa on chilly evenings.

★★★☆☆

I don't think I have found my chocolate tea yet. The tea was good, but I probably will not be reordering it. The aroma and taste of the tea didn't have the rich chocolate taste I was hoping for, and yes, I know, I could be asking too much from a cup of tea when I'm craving chocolate. Overall, it reminded me of those Nestle Aero chocolate bars, the ones with all the air bubbles.

★★★★★

Wow! This tea is wonderful! Unlike other chocolate teas, which are good but not very chocolatey, this one could actually replace a cup of cocoa. A great dessert tea, or for when you're craving chocolate.

★★★☆☆

Definitely has a trace of chocolate, but I find I am not that into chocolate in my tea. I prefer the lighter, fruity flavors.

★★★★☆

A very nice, rich chocolate tea. Almost has a dark chocolate taste to me.

★★★★★

i have been looking for the perfect chocolate tea for so long & finally found it!! Although it has a slight hint of dark chocolate wich i dont always like, its so good

★★★★★

A scrumptious treat. I love it with cream and sugar (or honey) for a warm winter morning breakfast tea. I make a pot all for myself and curl up with a bagel and newspaper.

★★★★★

I'm a sucker for chocolate black teas, this one especially.

★★★★★

Enjoyed this gone. Nice flavor, Great with some cream

★★★★☆

I'm not a huge fan of chocolate 'flavored' anything... I usually find the flavorings to be on the chemical-tasting side. This one, however, was quite nice, and the best chocolate tea I've had from Adagio so far. Nice aroma and still has a nice chocolately flavor when steeped. I drink this black and it's quite lovely.

It smells like a Tootsie Roll, take it as you will. To be fair, it doesn’t taste like candy. The chocolate is light, which makes for a perfect chocolate tea.

★★★★★

This is truly for the chocolate lovers out there!! I would characterize it as dessert!! Yum!!
