I don’t get a lot of chocolate flavor with this one.
Yummy! Tastes a lot like weak hot chocolate with sugar and cream. Quite decadent. I also really liked it mixed with the Raja Oolong Chai.
I was expecting a little more of a full chocolate taste, but this was still a good cup of tea. It smells heavenly.
Nice flavor, very smooth. I was hoping for a deeper chocolate but still yummy! **UPDATE** This tea is really growing on me, the more I drink it the more I like it. Changed my review to ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
So, so, so good. This is probably the best chocolate tea I ve had, and considering my sweet tooth, I ve had a bunch of them.
Mixed the Chocolate Truffle with Assam Melody. Sometimes i add Vanilla or Caramel. Adds a chocolate flavor that is smooth.
This tea was pretty good has a nice chocolate taste. Might be good combined with a strawberry tea
Great Chocolate taste.
the chocolate is very understated and smooth. The dark chocolate is good for an afternoon snack and pick me up.
I really like this. It such a nice after dinner, dessert, or afternoon tea. The only other thing I can say is Yummm!
I LOVE THIS. This must be my favorite black tea blend. Sometimes I drink this with some raspberry patch and it is lovely. I would DEFINITELY buy again. Lovely dark chocolate flavor.
Awesome strong chocolate flavor. My husband loves this tea!
So yummy. Smells and tastes like chocolate. Love it!
I don't normally like chocolate teas, and this one isn't my favorite either, but it is a nice warm-tasting flavor that is good with some cream in it.
This is surprisingly good! I always get my hopes up with chocolate teas, and for once I m genuinely impressed. Definitely something I ll buy again.
Very good, this one has a nicer chocolate flavor than the regular chocolate.
Very delightful. Nice hint of chocolatey flavor! Perfect when you are craving chocolate but don't want all the extra sugar
This is quickly becoming one of my favorites as a dessert tea. Deep chocolate scent. I like it with honey and cream.
I like this mixed with Irish Breakfast, I think it’s the best chocolate tea Adagio offers. It doesn’t taste like kahlua like the other chocolate black teas.
Yummy! Very tasty-- chocolatey, black tea that isn t too sweet.
This had an overwhelming scent that reminded me of inexpensive chocolate and the flavor matched.
Rich and chocolatey, great in its own, with milk or creamer, or blended with other flavors of tea to enhance chocolate notes. I love to mix it with some of my Christmas blend from David’s Tea so they actually have some flavor
It was alright? It very much smells and tastes like chocolate flavored/smelling chapstick that I had as a kid. Not as strong actual chocolate flavor as I was hoping? I'm not sure if its the black tea or type of chocolate in the tea but its sort of odd? I dont dislike it, but for sure not in my favorites from Adagio.
Strong chocolate flavor, but not overpowering. Perfect for starting a busy day.
I am a huge fan of this one. It tastes very much like the decadence of chocolate, and there is also a distinctive bite that reminds me of whiskey. It s a very full-bodied tea.
Delicious chocolate-y aroma and taste. Nice dessert tea option.
Very good and chocolatey bitch not as chocolatey as I expected but the taste is somewhat reminiscent of chocolate milk in a way.
Perfect for a sweet tooth! Just the right amount of chocolate!
I expected more of a creamy almost milk chocolate flavor with this tea but it comes out more of a dark chocolate bar melted into a strong black tea. The taste of the black tea is not overpowered by the chocolate but it also doesn't overpower the chocolate flavor in the tea but because the chocolate comes off as more of a dark chocolate flavor than a creamy chocolate I think it pairs well together in a different way from other chocolate flavored black teas.
This is dark and chocolaty and delicious. I love it.
I usually liked this tea mixed with vanilla black tea...it's yummy!
Absolutely scrumptious! Tastes exactly like a chocolate truffle. Very rich and decadent. A cup you sip and savor. One will probably be enough to satisfy you.
leaves an oily taste in my mouth and wasn't as flavorful as i had hoped
Rich chocolate flavor. A good cozy winter's brew with or without sugar and cream.
Great chocolate tea to satisfy my sweet tooth! Not too sweet on its own (if you don t like overly sweet teas) but paired with 1/2 to a teaspoon of sugar is perfect for me. I ll definitely be getting a bigger bag of this.
Got this for my chocolate-loving roommate, and she really likes it!
Smells like a straight up chocolate bar, but it s surprisingly not overly sweet? Incredibly pleasant.
I love this tea. It is great plain but I like to also put a dab of creamer in to make it even more smooth. I will be making this many many times in the future.
This is a very smooth comforting tea. It also tastes lovely with a locally made Bourbon Cream cordial I have as a dessert tea.
In the best way possible, this tastes like a liquid tootsie roll!
very tasty with cream and honey or just by itself
Chocolate Truffle is a delicious treat enjoyed by my kids and myself.
This tea actually tastes like chocolate and it is very smooth.
It has a clear taste of chocolate liqueur reminiscent (but not as good as) Teavana's old tiramisu flavor. It's better than the Chocolate Black Tea and has a bit more of a liqueur punch than Chocolate Chip.
Delicious! Very decadent and chocolate-y without being overpowering. I was pleasantly surprised, given that the description of the tea sounded rather overwhelming. Compared to the Chocolate Chip tea, it has a slight bitterness to it (not in a bad way) and with more rich, dark chocolate flavor. I like it best when steeped for 3 min and with a splash of half 'n' half.
Nice chocolate flavor but I find it gets bitter quickly.
This was just not what I was expecting. Other people might like it, but it just wasn't my cup of tea (pun totally intended).
I've tried this twice now both letting it steep normal time and then letting it steep even longer...it never had a real chocolate taste to it. Adagio has other chocolate teas that are much better...this one is a pass
FANTASTIC!!! Wow!!! Dessert in a teacup. I had tried a sample and came back and ordered more. Rich, smooth, decadent!!!
Very tasty I will definitely recommend this to anyone
