I m only giving 4 stars since, even though I m a chocolate lover, this just seemed to be a bit too much chocolate for a tea. A hint of chocolate would be nicer. However, my chocoholic husband did appreciate it when he was needing a good fix.
2020 Advent Day 16, and have since repurchased. Very chocolatey and decadent. Highly recommend to satisfy a sweet tooth!

Can’t say I love it. It comes off as very mild and the chocolate is a little overpowering. I find that I like the cocoa nibs in the Irish stout tea a lot better.

This is a marvelous chocolate tea. I need to make some room in my tea cupboard for it. My husband, who is not a fan of flavored teas, was quite impressed. Aptly named as that is precisely the smell and taste it imparts. Yum!

This is a fun flavorful tea. I like to drink in the afternoon when I need a pick me up! Just 1 cup with do. Don't normally drink as my regular morning tea due to the fact that is has a lot more flavor
Excellent dessert tea. Creamy and chocolaty. I think it was better iced than hot, but still good either way.
I don't know what went wrong here for me, but something in the mixture has a bad aftertaste. Kind of metallic.
This is my new favorite tea! The chocolate addition to the black tea is delicious. It tastes creamy but not too sweet. PERFECT! I look forward to this tea every morning! And still my go to morning tea!
I really, really tried to like this tea. I really did. but dear GOD, the chocolate flavor did not work here. It tasted EXACTLY like those kinda terrible chocolate or candy-themed chapsticks from middle school. Think chocolate lipsmackers or tootsie roll flavored chapstick. I couldn t find a single way to brew it that I enjoyed.
This one makes a pretty good almond milk latte as well, has a decent chocolate flavor.

This was the tea that started my obsession with Adagio Teas! My friend got my the Sampler of Chocolates for my birthday, and this was my favorite of the four. I ordered the largest bag they had and have a cup every day.
I have drank 2-3 Cokes every day for years, but knew I needed to cut back and lose weight. I switched out Coke for tea (with one teaspoon of sugar versus the loads of sugar in Coke) and have eliminated Coke and dropped weight! Who knew something that tasted so good could be so beneficial?

I love this tea. I drink a lot of chai, but sometimes I don't the spice as much as the dark bold flavor. This tea gives me that especially when serve with sugar and milk. It also goes excellently as a dessert tea or on a cold winter night. Similar to hot chocolate without being overly sweet.
Good tea. Taste very chocolately and delicious. 10/10 would recommend.

Very Lovely chocolaty notes, but there was no weird little oil film from the chocolate like you sometimes get from chocolate not made for beverages. I brewed it in a teapot that holds 3 1/2 cups. so I used only one teaspoon since I know that with Adagio their teas go really far. I look forward to brewing it full flavor later on since even with it being watered down it was just this beautifully delicious tea.
Not as rich a chocolate flavor as I was lead to believe it was. More or less just a frankly bland black tea with a few pieces of chocolate floating randomly through the bag. Glad I only got a sample bag and not a full 3 ounces. Wouldn't order again.
One of the best chocolate teas I ve ever tried. This is not just usable once, but twice, and retains the amazing flavor on the second steep.
This was way too one-sided chocolate for me. I couldn t taste any other flavor and it tasted 'muted to me.' Maybe it would be good to mix with something else, but not a favorite by itself.
A warm and mellow tea that's comforting, smooth, with a somewhat dark and silky note thanks to the chocolate and the black tea used. A surprisingly mature flavor, with a delightful undernote of sweetness that doesn't overwhelm the pallet.
A wonderfully chocolate tea! I added some rock sugar and milk for a glorious beverage. It’s like dessert in a cup which will be great for cutting back on sweets in general.
I am not sure why I thought buying a larger portion of this tea. I guess I thought it would cure my chocolate craving. The tea was fine, it was me. I am sure another customer would like it very much
This tea smells divine from the moment the bag is opened. It has a smooth dark chocolately flavor that I enjoyed balanced with pleasant aromatics. I drink this black without sugar.
I got this blend because I love black teas with chocolate 🍫 and I was really excited because it has cocoa nibs and chocolate chips! Unfortunately there is something in the flavor that I didn’t like.( My top chocolate tea blend is from justea purple chocolate.) I cannot pin point if it is the chicory. I noticed it a lot when I tried it on it own, that flavor subsided when I added milk and whipped cream. I only make this tea when I want an extra sweet tea or when I have whipped cream at home other than that I don’t see my self reaching out for it. When I finish my bag I won’t be buying more of this blend.
Like hot chocolate? Don't want all the extra milk and sugar and calories? Then this is the tea. If hot chocolate were a tea, this is it. Great for after dinner, or maybe as a way to resist raiding the chocolate.
I will say the chocolate is not of my preference, I could not drink this tea by itself, but a bit of sugar gave it a much-needed help, after that it was amazing.

I’ve never had chocolate in tea before, it was pretty indulgent. Like many of these teas, the chocolate flavor comes though more as it cools.
This is surprisingly well rounded--not too sweet if you don't want it to be--and rich AF.
Chocolaty black tea is always a fun thing to have. If you have a sweet tooth when making a cup of tea, this is a good one to reach for.
I can definitely taste the chocolate, however the bitterness turned me off of it. I wouldn't personally buy again but if you're someone who likes hints of chocolate and bitter things, I highly recommend it!
received a sample of this tea - it tasted like hot chocolate and I wanted more! For some reason, when I ordered a larger package, the tea was very bland. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't the delicious chocolate blast I was expecting. Disappointing for a chocoholic like me but maybe just right for somebody looking for a hint of chocolate flavour
This might be my new fav chocolate tea. So rich, flavorful, but yet- it s tea! Calorie free! really delicious. Please note, water boils at 199 degrees where I am, due to altitude.
