★★★★☆

Taste very similar to the Irish stout tea. I can do without both of these teas

This is a nice, smooth reminder of days past picking homemade truffles in a little family chocolate shop. The shop is long gone but the memories remain.

★★★★☆

One of the better chocolate teas I’ve tried. It’s not like eating chocolate, or drinking hot chocolate, but pretty good for a little guilt-free chocolate treat! I added a little cinnamon whipped honey after tasting it plain, and it was a nice addition.

If the regular chocolate tea is a high school prom, chocolate truffle is the Met Gala.

Delicious tea! Great for curbing a sweet tooth when I'm trying to eat well

As a chocolate lover, the smoothness of this tea was top notch.

★★★★★

I am a huge fan of dark chocolate, definitely prefer it over milk chocolate. This tea is like dark chocolate in a cup. Delicious - I loved it.

Smells great, very chocolatey, has become one of my favorite teas. Blends wonderfully with the cream black tea.

This is a good one for chocolate lovers. Rich flavor.

Not as flavorful as I hoped needs more chocolate flavor

★★★★★

Loved this one you could taste the chocolate notes in it, reminded me of easter.

★★★★★

I was a bit unsure about this one, but followed a review that suggested using some cream in it and it was quite tasty. I did warm the cream up to make sure the chocolate chips would dissolve when the water was added and it just has a really clean dark chocolate flavor.

You want a chocolate tea? Then this is a good choice. I added a vanilla flavored creamer to mine -- which was a mistake -- but another cup had only sugar added. I think that's the way to go.

UPDATE: This tea is fantastic as an iced tea! Bumping my rating to 5 stars.

Rich and satisfying. A simply tasty treat for those who love chocolate

★★★★★

love this tea, when I have a sweet craving...really does the trick

★★★★★

This is probably the most decadent of Adagio's chocolate teas. Steep at a lower temp to avoid bitterness. By adding a small amount of any sweetener it becomes a heavenly dessert tea.

something off on this one, didn't work for me - it think it's the chocolate

★★★★★

This is an indulgent, delicious cup of tea. I really enjoy it with a splash of sweet cream. Just the right amount of chocolate flavor, it is like a dessert in a cup. This is a must try!

Yummy chocolate tea. Enjoyable for a treat. Reminds me Valentine’s Day.

Not as much chocolate as I wanted from a chocolate truffle tea.

★★★★★

This tea is perfect for the winter! It tastes like candy!

Great rich tea, very filling. Mixed with the butterscotch tea is wonderful.

★★★★★

So delicious and soothing. I was surprised with the taste and the texture and how easy it was to drink.

I asked my CommuniTEA friends for chocolate tea suggestions and this one was the favorite! I can see why it comes highly recommended. The chocolate flavor is rich. I added stevia & monk fruit blend to enhance the sweetness. Perfection! It also makes a dessert like latte. Happy sipping!

Remarkably chocolately and smooth! If you need a sugar fix but don't want anything to eat, this is an excellent option.

This tea does a good job of having a modest chocolate taste to it without being overwhelming. While I don't think it's going to become a go-to, it is a good choice for an occasional drink for me.

★★★★★

Indulgent, rich, and smooth. Overall a winner cup of tea

★★★★☆

I worried that the chocolate flavoring would be too much (in other teas I haven't enjoyed it because it brings an artificial bitterness). It's still noticable, but the other elements blend well enough with it to make a rich, complex flavor that is great with milk and sugar.

★★★★★

Great chocolate tea. My husband tried it once and then before you know it I'm buying a giant bag so that it's always in stock.

★★★★☆

great chocolate flavor - I often combine it with other chocolate teas

★★★★★

212 degrees for 4 minutes. Yummy yummy! Bold cocoa and malty notes infuse this Ceylon tea with chocolatey goodness. I think I found a new favorite. This one is fantastic on its own and it will be fun to blend also.

I saw the word 'chocolate truffle' and bought this tea on the spot. What could be better than two of my favorite things (tea and chocolate) combined? Unfortunately, this match was not one made in heaven. Ceylon doesn't work with chocolate. Perhaps a different base, such as pu-erh, would work better.

I enjoy the chocolate truffle, but it has an ingredient that I can’t identify that is very strong. It is so strong that it overpowers the chocolate flavor I’m looking for.

Great well rounded flavor. I think you get a little bit of everything with this tea.

I absolutely loved this. I had to add more sweetener than I am used to, but it makes for a great dessert tea. A splash of oatmilk makes it into a decadent hot chocolate. Would buy again

Love this tea! Great in the mornings with breakfast, or for desert. Wonderfully chocolatey flavor!

★★★☆☆

Idk if it was the way I did it or what but I didn’t get a lot of chocolate and I was looking forward to the chocolate but it was still ok so three stars

The cocoa and chocolate aromas prior to steeping entice the nose. After steeping, the tea is smooth and silky in the mouth and I could definitely taste the chocolate. It was a bit too strong - and slightly bitter - for my tastes, but I am sure chocolate lovers will love it.

Makes for a good chocolatey twist on a black tea. Hits the sweet craving!

★★★★★

Dessert in a cup! Wonderful as a treat or as an everyday guaranteed smile. I will definitely be keeping a regular stock of this one from now on.

★★★★★

Strong dark chocolate tea with a touch of honey and milk added. What more can a woman want? Seriously, another favorite. Who needs Nesquik when you have this tea? Not me.

★★★★★

It's like drinking really good cocoa only lighter. This was marvelous.

★★★☆☆

I've gotten the sample size twice - I wasn't sure if I liked it enough to get a larger size but I still wanted to try it a few more times - and the first time the chocolate flavor was a lot more prominent than the second (which tasted pretty close to plain black tea, to me). I would've given it 4 stars instead of 3 if both packets tasted like the first one, but I don't really want to get a larger size when I don't know how it'll end up tasting.

Nicely chocolatey, smooth but with an edge. I will definitely order again.

★★★★★

This is a really assertive chocolate tea. The flavor is even more pronounced when the tea cools. I haven't yet tried it with any sort of milk, but I imagine that will bring the flavor out even more.

★★★★★

surprisingly good and was sad when my sample was all gone... so will buy again! very rich and delicious tea

I love this tea. The aroma is pleasant. I add a little vanilla black tea leaves to this to make the flavors even more amazing

I love the way chocolate works with black tea, an this really takes advantage of that. Along with the nuttiness, a little milk at a 3 minute steep and it can be great alternative to coffee.

Meh, I found this one unremarkable and kind of bitter. Would not buy again.
