I didn't think I'd like this, but it's one of my favorites from Adagio. The sweet, nutty flavor goes great following a big dinner.
Perfect for enjoying in front of an open fire on a cool night, in any season. A comforting reminder of the season of giving, perfect to share with a few close friends.

I didn't think I'd like this, but it's one of my favorites from Adagio. The sweet, nutty flavor goes great following a big dinner.
smooth with a soft chestnut flavor- I wasn't sure what chestnut actually tasted like, but it's a very nice almondy, nutty taste.
Not my favorite but is tasty... good for the holidays ut not for an everyday tea.
Not a big fan of the chestnut mixture. Not real strong and nothing special to me
wow, this smells wonderful in and out of the tin! it has a nice robust nutty taste and it's smooth. great job!
Mmmmm. Warm, sweet and nutty. A great addition to my winter tea stash.
A very heavy flavor, but it blends well and is great with 10% Lapsang Souchong.
great flavor...wonderful winter tea. Will definitly buy again.
My son loves Chestnut . . . it's ok, but not one of my favorites.
This tea is delicious. I'm so sorry I only ordered a samplier. When it's offered again this coming holiday season I will be sure to stock up on this one.
This tea is one of Adagio's best. I look forward to it every year. The chestnut flavor is understated, yet sufficient. This is a very comforting tea for wintertime.
I loved the smell of this tea, it was wonderful, the flavor was even better. Just a touch of tea and it was perfect.
I really like this one, great flavor, very comforting.
mmm! Reminds me of cookies my mom used to bake. My mom has a chestnut tree behind her house so we always had an abundance of chestnuts. So, she used them in all kinds of recipes. This brings back memories.
So delicious! Very hearthy taste. One of my favorite black teas!
I LOVE this tea, and I don't usually drink a lot of black teas. It smells wonderful, and tastes great with some milk and honey. I'm reordering today before it's no longer available this season.
Almost smells better than it tastes. Very festive, and by far the best holiday tea of those I tried.
Very good and has a super chestnut flavor. Makes a great dessert tea.
This one's not a reorder for me and I'm happy that I only have a sample to finish up. I found it bland and boring and it did not live up the reviews for me.
I had no idea what Chestnut would taste like, but after sampling some from a friend, I was hooked and ordered some of my own! just hope this gets added to the regular list and is still available after the holiday season!
I don't care much for the flavored teas, but I really like this one. It's perfect for the holidays, and I'm ordering more.
This is my absolute favorite tea out of all the ones I have ordered! The flavour is very light, warm and comforting. A perfect wintertime tea!
I like this tea a lot! Especially for crisp fall evenings. It has a warm, full taste very similar to the almond but without being as sweet. It leaves you with a hint of nutty aftertaste, which is a very pleasant, soft aftertaste.
I could drink this tea everyday. I got a sample of it over the holidays laste year, but had to buy a bigger batch this time around.
A nice warm, nutty flavor. Perfect with honey and cream for a treat on chilly nights!
This tea is fabulous! Absolutely perfect for winter days when you cannot get out of bed.
It's got a lovely, nutty smell, but otherwise it's fairly unremarkable as a flavored black tea.
This is another dessert tea that is great with a little bit of milk or cream. Perfect compliment to a slice of pie.
This is perfect with milk and sugar! I'm becoming all too quickly addicted to this tea.
One of my year-round favorites for the sweet and nutty flavor that is very complementary to the black tea.
This is a very nutty tea. I am disappointed it is only available during the Christmas holiday. I want to order more and will need to wait.
I've never tried chestnuts, but something nutty sounded like it might be good. I didn't like this at all but I probably wouldn't like chestnuts either.
Smooth, rich taste. Remarkably satisfying blend with a heady aroma.
Very nice holiday tea. My mom and I liked it very much as an alternative to the greens and whites we usually drink. This was my mom's favorite.
The Chestnut tea has a nice roasted chestnut aroma that is pretty strong, but not overwhelming. The chestnut pieces in the tea are pretty, but I'm not sure they add anything to the flavor of the tea. The roasted aspect does lend itself as a cold weather tea, although that may just be my preference. It is a nice smooth tea, that I wouldn't drink too often, but I would definitely like to have around during the colder months.
Even over-steeped tea tasted weak with the chestnut flavoring, though I admit this could be because I'm used to chestnut as a coffee flavoring.
With a little sugar/sweetener and milk/cream, it's as good as drinking hot chocolate! Yumm!
This tea surprised me - I often thing Adagio's flavored teas are too weak, but I was really incredibly impressed with the warm, chestnutty flavor of this one. I bought the larger amount because I just had to have more. I'm giving a sampler as a christmas present.
Intesting flavour. nutty but a little bitter Ifound/ I have taken to steeping the tea a minute less then it calls for. Seems to help.
This is a fun holiday tea; I'd have a hard time drinking in the midst of summer though. The chestnut flavor is very well balanced and provides an almost ginger crispness to the tea.
Wonderful tea. Of the holiday teas I've ordered, this one is my favorite. I might have to order a big tin.
Nice chestnut taste, not at all bitter, it seemed a little lacking in some way, but I can't say how exactly.
very tasty. Great in those winter months. This is something to wake up to.
This stuff was better than the other two samples I received, but is was nothin gto write home about. Wasn't really as nutty and fall-like as I had hoped.
I like chestnuts quite a bit, for sure. I always follow the directions or experiment until I get a tea just right. So, in conclusion, this was the lesser of two other lessers (or evils) if that isn't too harsh. I a true tea lover, by the way, so I try not to be too harsh while still preserving the integrity of a review.
Yum!!! This tea has displaced cream and earl grey as my favorite comfort yummy teas. Perfect with milk and sugar on a day that need more coziness.
Tried it along with the other Christmas flavors; it wasn't as good as the others, but was an okay cup of black tea.
I loved this tea--very earthy and of course nutty, but not overwhelming. Nice to drink by the fire on a cold winter evening!
Another fave as I simply love nutty flavors! Thank God I had the common sense to buy a larger quantity being it is only available during the holidays.
Although this tea smells great I wasn't impressed with the taste at all. Be very careful not to overbrew this one.
Too much of one thing. Stick with buying the sampler. Good tea, but 8oz is too much.
