★★★★☆

Yummy flavor that is perfect for the holidays, but also good throughout the year. Nutty and a little bit sweet, the chestnut tea has become one of my favorites for morning.

★★☆☆☆

Eh... kind of an odd flavor. I feel like it needs sugar, but once I add it, it's too sweet. It kinda smells like fake maple pancake syrup.

★★★★★

Love this tea. First tried it as part of the holiday set, finally stocked up! Delicious, definitely gives that warm cuddly feeling with each cup.

★★★★★

Love this tea great flavor, so smooth. Aroma like a Mothers hug.

★★★★☆

I don't have a very discerning palate, so this tasted a lot like the hazelnut to me. I really enjoy the hazelnut, and this is quite nice as well.

★★★★☆

This tea was something different for me to try. Definitely tasted like chestnuts.

★★★★★

Chestnut is like an earthier version of almond. I gravitate towards it in the colder months.

★★★★★

One of my favorite seasonal black teas! Such a soothing, creamy flavor. I like it with a bit of cream/milk. Delicious! It smells amazing too!

★★★★★

This is a full flavored, nutty-tasting tea. It tastes as good as it smells. It was easy for me to replace my morning coffee with a cup of this.

★★★★★

I love the nutty teas, and this one's my favorite. Great with milk and sweetener.

★★★★★

This is a really great cup of tea for a really cold winter day.

★★☆☆☆

Even though I like nuts and I love sweets, the strong sweet nutty aroma of this tea was too powerful and overwhelming for my taste. I could not bear drinking it because of the smell. My friend really liked the aroma though, so it really depends on personal preference. In this case, it's just not my cup of tea.

★★★★☆

Not exactly like the chestnuts I eat, but still a good tea.

This is one of our very favorite teas! love to mix it with a little cream tea for a nice mellow cup. I do have to say that this time around the Chestnut flavor seemed a little more artificial to ME, but my DH didn't notice, and this is still his favorite tea!

★★★★★

I really enjoy this flavored tea, especially with a little milk or half and half. It has a very nice nutty flavor.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Chestnut flavor! I found myself choosing only this tea for a couple of weeks. Drinking with milk and rock sugar. Be sure to steep for only the recommended 3 minutes.

★★★★★

I love the way that this tea tastes, and it smells amazing too! I don't really like normal chestnuts but I sure do like this tea.

★★★★★

I bought a sample of this at Christmastime and loved it. Decided to order more before it goes away!

★★★★★

Outstanding taste and great aroma! This tea is so delicious that I had to return to buy more. Excellent store and excellent teas.

★★★★☆

This is a very good tea, but too much and the nuttiness is a tad overwhelming.

★★★☆☆

I liked this one the most out of the holiday teas. I'd still rather unflavored tea, but this is nice.

★★☆☆☆

I really did not like the taste of this. That being said, I don't know if I like chestnuts. Maybe if you like chestnuts you will love this... blech!!I mix it with other flavors for now - once I use it up, I will not re-order it!

★★★☆☆

Good taste, not a strong chestnut flavor, although I'm not sure what a strong chestnut flavor would be. Just kind of tasted like a black tea. If you want a nutty flavor hazelnut is better.

★★★☆☆

This tea is alright. Nothing special, but I've had worse.

★★★★★

This is absolutely my favorite tea from Adagio. It is naturally sweet and nutty tasting, but not cloying at all. I have a cup just about every day!

★★★★☆

This is a good tea, but very nutty. It is kind of strange. I think I prefer my teas with a fruity or flowery undertone.

★★★★★

Great with cream and a bit of honey. Very nutty and flavorful...too bad it's only available at Christmas!

We received a holiday sampler from Adagio Teas (thanks to a Facebook promotion!) this Christmas, and my husband and I fell in love with the chestnut tea. It's smooth and naturally lightly sweetened and left us with a warm, Christmassy feeling. This was definitely our favorite tea in the sampler. I had never ordered from Adagio before, but the delicious experience prompted me to shop online and order 6 ounces immediately!

★★★★☆

Never really having had chestnuts I wasn't sure what to expect from this tea. I was very surprised to find a maple flavor, I was expecting something more savory, but overall it was very tasty and is a pleasant tea for the holidays.

★★★★☆

I am used to drinking spiced teas, so this was a very different flavor for me. I was not sure that I liked it at first, but it has grown on me. It has a nice smooth texture and nutty flavor.

★★★★★

This is pretty much exactly the sort of thing I wanted for this time of year. You can go a little looser with the steeping time and not mess it up, and it's fine with or without sugar.

★★★★☆

Perfect tea for the holidays after a big meal. Goes great with biscotti.

★★★★☆

A great holiday gift for anyone. I was so tempted to try it but I'll just have to get some for myself!

★★★★★

This is one of the most delicious teas I have had. It has a natural subtle sweetness to it. I can't wait to order more!

★★★★☆

I got this as a Christmas present for my mom. She was very pleased.

★★★★★

This is becoming one of my favorite teas. Has a great taste to it and smells delicious. I am trying to keep it for just around the holidays, but I may be stocking up this time around.

★★★★★

I really liked this tea! It was very flavorful and different. I will definitely be ordering more in the future.

★★☆☆☆

if this is what chestnuts taste like im glad i never ate one before... tea leaves a bad aftertaste plus its very light

★★★★★

I love chestnut tea! This is the richest, sweetest, most aromatic one I've tried. It can be incorporated into baking too.

★★★★★

Warm, smooth, and sweet, this tea goes down a treat. Imagine the sweetness of cream tea with a subtly nutty undertaste, paired with a divinely-scented, caramel-like aroma. As with most flavored ceylons, adding cream and sugar are practically a must, as they sweeten and soften the flavor. Definitely one of the best flavored teas I've tried from Adagio.

Very very tasty. My kids even love it. Perfect for a chilly winter afternoon.

★★★★☆

This is a great winter tea. It has a strong black tea flavor with a nutty aftertaste. Very good for the cold days.

★★★★★

So happy I decided to try this tea! Rich, hearty aroma that makes me feel like up cozied up to a fire!

★★★★☆

The nutty taste hits me more as a smell, just before I take a sip. Out of the bag, it has a spicy, maple-ish smell, but the taste is more nutty. I like this more than I thought I would, based on smelling it unbrewed.

★★★★☆

Interesting black tea. Good for the holidays, but a little syrupy if left to steep too long.

★★★★☆

This tea tastes like the holidays to me. I blended this with the Cream tea (1/2 of each), and I enjoyed it. It is, however, in my mind, an occasional tea. I don't think I could drink it every day - too sweet. (Interestingly enough, btw, my SO thought it tasted smoky and did not like it for that reason.)

★★★★☆

This smells delish...but the taste of the chestnut is a bit too weak. Had to brew it at least double strength.

★★★★☆

When I opened the tea, I was skeptical because the fragrance was a little like...my childhood dog. That was odd. But the brewed tea has a very differentfragrance, and tastes very good. I really like almond tea, and this is a nice change to mix things up. It has a light, nutty taste that is similar to hazelnut, but definitely not the same. I don't know what chestnuts taste like, but this is a good nut tea for when you want a cozy cup. It probably won't be one of my favorites, but I would order it again.

★★★★★

I just got my sample of chestnut-infused black tea and I'm going right back to the website to order more. I don't always love flavored black teas, particularly when they're excessively sweet. But the chestnut fragrance of this tea is creamy and nutty rather than cloying. Delicious with milk, nice without it too. I find that it doesn't need any sweetening. A nice little indulgence for the holiday season.

★★★★★

Surprisingly excellent tea, with nutty (and almost chocolate) overtones, lovely rounded flavor that’s slightly sweet and therefore doesn’t require much (if any) additional sugar. Holds up beautifully with milk, which brings out more subtle chestnut notes. I steeped mine for five minutes (two minutes longer than Adagio’s suggestion).

An excellent holiday tea.
