Chestnut is sooooo good. It's the answer to Adagio's caramel, which frankly seems elusive to me. This tea has a rich, round, sweet body and makes an excellent tea for blends when you want something bold and sweet.
This tea tastes really good. It reminds me of hazelnut, but with a slightly more robust and rounded out flavor. The smell is amazing.
I put in a bit of creamer in it and it tastes rather good.
This is one of my favorite teas. Nutty and sweet. awesome with a little milk. It's great at the holidays, but even better when you're stuck in the blah holiday aftermath of January, like I am right now. Sooooo comforting!

A pleasantly sweet, nutty black tea. It didn't really taste like chestnuts specifically, to me, but it was very good nonetheless.
One of my absolute favorites! Not as strong as I remember in the sample, but perfect nonetheless for a cold, winter day. Great with a touch of cream!
I first tried this tea as a sample, and didn't think I would like it at all. I was wrong! It's delicious and nutty and sweet and smooth. I am glad I got it before it went out of stock for the season!

There's something maple-y about the fragrance and flavour of this tea that makes it really comforting. I love chestnuts in every form I've had them, and this is no exception!

so says my sister. Although I personally am not a fan of nuts, my sister and mother are both nuts for this tea, and even I must admit that it tastes pretty great.
This one is incredible and I would recommend everyone try this one at least once! The flavor is rich and clean (pure chestnut), and it leaves a great, mellow aftertaste.
I can't even begin to describe how much I adore this tea. It's nutty and creamy and a little bit sweet - especially delicious with some milk. I steep it for about 5 minutes...any longer and it gets kind of bitter.

This tea is *so* good. At first I was a little bit put off by the smell (it's vaguely... gamey? I don't know how to describe it) but when it's brewed, it's a lovely, flavorful, sweet cup of tea. It's truly delicious, one of those teas that really come into its own when allowed to brew properly (1.5 teaspoons for 3.5 minutes in the Ingenuitea). This has become one of my favorite teas.
After buying this tea I realized that I've never actually tried a chestnut, so I went around asking everyone I knew if they'd tried them and what they tasted like. After seriously mixed reviews I was a little nervous about how I'd feel about this tea but I'm pretty sure I found my new favorite. It's robust but smooth and it feels like it warms up my body and soul when I drink it. It's nutty and creamy and sweet without any need for sweetener and I can't even attempt to describe the good feelings I have when I drink this tea. The only way to describe it is 'Mmmmm' and then a contented sigh. There is a small thing that I've noticed after drinking it for a few weeks and that is that I can't have two cups in a row without getting a little bit of a salty taste in my mouth that's a little funky. But I still love it.

This tea smelled like maple syrup. It was lovely. Unfortunately, the taste didn't really match up to the smell. I admit to not knowing what chestnuts taste like, but the black tea was definitely the dominant flavor here. It was still tasty, but the smell was so intense and inviting that I guess the taste couldn't really match up. Still an excellent tea. I wish I had more than just the sample, but the samples are big, I've still got a few cups worth.
Recently ordered this tea--which I have been craving since last Christmas--and very pleased with my choice. Though I cannot attest to how authentic the chestnut flavor is--I haven't tasted a real chestnut!--I CAN attest to the tastiness of this tea! Wonderful with a splash of milk. It has a hint of sweet and nuttiness that you are sure to enjoy.

This tea is so lovely. I have no idea what chestnuts taste like, but in the bag this tea smells like caramel, and then after threeish minutes of steeping, it tastes a bit nutty with a tad bit of sweetness. Overall, very comforting and a nice finish to the day.
This is hands down my favorite flavor. I'm not sure how to describe it other than to say I just Love it! A warm, toasty flavor and enjoyable warm and cold in my opinion.
Its definitely a good tea. Warm, and almost syrupy but still tea like. I thought it was alright, but my boyfriend absolutely loved it.
Was hesitant trying this tea, as it sounded like it should be more of a coffee, then a tea. But I was pleasantly surprised by the aroma, and the nutty warm flavor. Perfect for a snowy day next to a fire!
I cant say enough great things about this tea. Its amazing! It smells delicious. It tastes even better. Very rich, nutty and a bit sweet. I LOVE IT! Good caffeine level too. Gives you some pep!
I love this tea. But there is one thing to explain. this should be called Butterscotch tea, instead of chestnut. Not sure what chestnuts actually taste like, but this tea tastes perfectly like butterscotch to me. I love the flavor, but it might not be what everyone is looking for. This might be considered chestnut, if you think about sweet roasted nuts sold by street vendors on cold winter days.

As everyone else has said, this tea is amazing and full of flavor. Not to be creepy or anything, but I wish I could hoard it all and let its aroma fill my house! I accidentally spilled some at work today, and I mourned it for a few minutes before wiping it away. Such a waste.
This is my first holiday flavor and so far, so good. The tea is naturally sweetened so when I added rock sugar to my first cup it was a bit too much, but overall it's a great daily tea flavor. Slightly nutty, slightly sweet. I'll be getting more.

I like the chestnut tea but found it to be a little strong , i mix it with coconut and it is good. The coconut mellows it out.
Oooh this smells simply glorious in the bag. It has a sweet, caramelized fragrance to it.. I like it best with milk. Sugar - depending on my mood, as the tea already emits a wonderfully sweet scent. I dont know if it's particularly 'chestnut'-like, but I love it nonetheless. Adding the larger bag of this one to my next order!!

This tea didn't really taste like chestnuts. It was far to sweet. Maybe the sweetness is why I had trouble identifying any other notes.
I love this -- it reminds me a bit of one of my favourites, Toasted Sesame, in that it's a very strong, wake-you-up sort of black tea with a nutty tone that still doesn't taste artificial. It's Sesame's slightly creamier, sweeter sibling, and it's terrific for blending. Delicious!
Though there are many excellent flavors, this is my absolute favorite from adagio. The flavor is wonderful by itself (I like it with sugar) and delicious when mixed with fruity flavors.
I'm not sure I've ever had chestnuts before, but there's something about this tea that's familiar and comforting. It's such a warm, nutty flavor. It's different than other nutty teas I've had. It may be my new favorite tea!
I loved this tea when I first got it, but the more I drink it, the less I like it. A good once in awhile tea, but not something I want to drink every night.
