Really, really great. I knew I was going to like this tea as soon as I opened the bag, because it smelled delicious. Sure enough, it tastes amazing. The flavor is very robust, and is great with a splash of milk. (I use Silk vanilla soy milk) I would definitely recommend this tea to others.

This has become my favorite nutty tea on Adagio. When mixed with the Chocolate chip tea and milk, it tastes like cookies.
It's a great tasting tea that holds up well to complements such as a bit of cinnamon, vanilla, or cocoa if you have it. My favorite way to have it is with a cinnamon skim milk froth and a bit of sugar. Great tea, though definitely be careful about adding to sugar if you decide to, and it seems to be susceptible to tasting burnt if left to brew close to the 5 minute mark.

Like the hazelnut tea, the base black tea is good, but the added flavor is too weak. The chestnut is a tiny bit more pronounced than the hazelnut in the hazelnut tea, but both need to be increased.
I originally bought this as a holiday tea but will enjoy it anytime. Flavors are more pronounced as the cup cools slightly.
This tea was not what I was expecting, but I like it. I can't drink it often like I do my chai, but once in a while it is a warm-in-my-heart, satisfying tea. Best with cream and a sweetener. honey actually works well in this one.
This tea is sweet and nutty and warm (I don't mean the temperature, but it tastes warm). I remember reading a book as a child where the main character bought a bag of hot, roasted chestnuts from a street vendor in the winter, and this tea tastes exactly like that scene to me.
I love the addition of chestnut and hazelnut in all of my teas, so I wanted to see how the chestnut was by itself and it was amazing! I can't wait to buy more of it. Glad I chose this sampler.
I really expected this to be DELICIOUS because everyone else sounded psyched and over the moon with delight with it. Maybe I just expected too much. It tasted mostly of just black tea with very light hint of nutty flavor. Was okay, but nothing I found to warrant reordering.
I didn't expect to love this tea. The nutty flavor is amazing on its own, but even better with just a bit of milk. If you're hesitating because you're not into nutty teas, try the sample. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised!

I was a little skeptical about how Chestnut tea would taste, but it is the BEST flavor tea I think I have EVER tasted! I ordered a big container of it - I can see me drinking this regularly - it has a sweetness to it as well as a richness and it is warm and absolutely amazing! I really love this tea!!!

A fantastic warm, nutty tea, with a definite hint of maple. Personally, I love maple, so this is exactly what I had hoped for. I enjoy mine with a little bit of honey, but the flavor is strong enough that you could probably get by without any sweetener at all.

The only thing keeping me from giving this a 'great' rating instead of 'good' is that it does, in my opinion, smell better than it tastes so I was expecting a little more flavor based on the smell, but still, this has got to be one of the best teas I've ever tried from Adagio. I highly recommend it!
As expected, it's a very earthy and nutty tea. Mild to no bitterness/astringency. Seems like a great tea to blend with.

There's something about the smoky flavor of chestnut that I really enjoyed. The flavor rolled around on my tongue, a little malty and deep. Excellent.
I find the rich taste of this flavored black tea to be totally delectable. I prefer it to the hazelnut which I also very much enjoy. Lovely during the cold winters in Maine.
I originally smelled this in a sampler tin I bought as a gift. One sniff and I sneaked a teaspoon out of that gift to try LOL. After that first cup, I immediately ordered myself a full bag. This is a nice strong flavor that really holds up to a strongly brewed black tea. I love it!!

This tea smelled amazing when opened, brewed two strong cups from one teaspoon, and made the most delicious milk tea I've ever had. Tastes creamy even plain. I will order this again I don't even care for black tea normally.
This tea is fantastic. It smells like a sweet, homemade bran muffin in the bag, with a very slight hint of actual roasted chestnut smell-- but it totally smells like autumn holidays. My dad loves it too, and he pointed out that once it's brewed, it smells and tastes like a maple-glazed donut! He's absolutely right. You could sell this same tea as 'Maple Donut' and it would be just as perfect. So yeah, it's fabulous.

I drink a lot of tea, but have never come across a tea like this one before. It is incredibly aromatic, straight from the bag and freshly brewed. It has a nutty, warm flavor that immediately reminds you of Christmas or winter! Great with an added splash of soy milk.
