This is my go-to tea from October until spring. I brew it pretty strong, and it has a smooth, rich nutty flavor with a little bit of a maple smell in the bag. There's something very festive about it -- lovely in autumn and all winter.
I first got this tea as a gift in a Christmas sampler, and it was the first to disappear! I'm a big fan of heavier teas and this fit the bill perfectly, the flavor is rich and warm without being overpowering as long as you don't oversteep it!

I LOVE chestnut, so I thought I would love this, but it's 'meh' for me so far. Maybe my batch just isn't that great? I'm experimenting with steeping it stronger to see if the flavors come through better. Right now it's bitter and un-chestnutty... a bit of a disappointment.
Before I bought this tea, I was an avid coffee drinker who drank tea infrequently. After trying this tea, I am now an avid chestnut tea drinker who gives no thought about coffee unless I cannot have this tea. Tastes as amazing as it smells. Has a sweet caramel note which makes sugar unnecessary. Great on its own, but for an indulgent treat, it is wonderful with half a teaspoon of rock sugar and a splash of cream.
I drink hot tea year-round, but I feel that some teas are better suited to warmer/colder weather than others. This tea is perfect for cold weather. It's warm and nutty with just a bit of sweetness, and a hint of maple.

Hazelnut is my favorite Adagio tea but this chestnut is pretty similar. If you like the nutty aroma and taste of hazelnut you will like this tea too. I don't know how it compares to eating a chestnut - never tried one.
This is an absolutely beautiful tea: warm, sweeter than you would expect, dark and rich and slightly woodsy but not as heavy or earthy as a pu erh. The perfect comforting thing for cold mornings.

This tea is truly everything the reviews said it was. AMAZING. Perfect smell, perfect taste, just simply happy. It is like a cozy autumn or winter day in a cup. I made a big container of iced tea for Christmas Eve with my family. This tea was a hit. Across the board all of the iced tea drinkers in the family loved this tea. I've since also had it hot, and it's still very good but I think I like it better iced.
I really wanted to like this one (I love chestnuts!), but it was too flat/one-dimensional for me. The base black tea lacks any kind of complexity and the added chestnut flavor reminded me of the Golden Grahams cereal I used to eat as a kid.
I read the reviews before I bought it, and they are all correct! This is a VERY good tea! With some dark honey added, it tastes like a pecan roll. Perfect since I'm on a diet and can't those, but I can drink something that tastes like it! I WILL be buying more of this!

This was my first time tasting this tea. I find that I like it without any sugar added. The chestnut flavor comes through better that way. The aroma is pleasant and not over powering. It's an enjoyable tea on a cold day and I believe it would also be a great tasting iced tea. I'd order this again.
A warm, nutty, mouthy tea. This black tea is nice alternative for morning coffee, or when old man winter is out and about and you want something cozy to sit and sip. Not my everyday cup of tea but I really enjoy the chestnut flavor in this cup.

Chestnut tea is the official iced tea in my house from September through March! It is wonderful hot or cold and while it smells like maple syrup, it tastes like cool weather, home and hearth.
I wasn't a huge fan of this one but my fiance loved it, so take my review with a grain of salt. There is a distinctly nutty flavor, and it reminded me a bit of coffee, but the tea seemed a bit bland for my tastes.
