Nice tea. It screams cozy, comforting Holidays to me.
I found it balanced and pleasant to drink. It is nutty to the right amount, flavorful without being overpowering.
Its flavor varies a lot with the temperature. I personally enjoy it better when it’s warm rather than hot, so I let it cool down for a few minutes before start sipping. That said, the last few sips in the cup are the best and leave me craving another cup.
I especially enjoy it with a little shortbread cookie. Definitely a nice Winter Holiday drink.
This is my absolute favorite tea! Made strong with some sweet cream!
Great nutty taste, but this time the bags weren't as strong as they were from the holiday sample tin boxes :( or maybe I'm getting used to it and that's why they don't taste as strong? I'm not sure.

My first black tea from Adagio. Was a bit strong in flavor. I steeped it for less time than suggested and was more pleased with it.

This tea surprised me being much better than anticipated. It was very good. Smooth, not bitter and had a great caramel like flavor to it.
Very thick and deep aroma, and it carries through into the tea. Very nice nutty flavor without being overpowering, great smoothness. Though ordinarily I'm not much a fan of chestnuts, this was really, really nice- and my fiance is very impressed by it.

This was a nice little dessert tea for the Christmas season. I will probably order a smaller amount next year or I will just request it as a stocking stuffer. Like the other holiday teas, I think it is best to order smaller amounts of it because I got tired of the flavor. The chestnut flavor is quite nice and superior to other 'chestnut' flavorings, like a certain well-known coffee shop beverage, but I am not the biggest fan of flavored black teas. It was very pleasant with a smidge of cream. I followed the instructions on the package.
This is one of my favorite flavors. Normally I don't order too many of the floured teas, but this pairs nicely with hazelnut and other earthy blends.

After reading all of the wonderful reviews for this tea, I was excited to try a cup. As soon as I opened the pack, the smell was wonderful and oddly reminded me of caramel. The hardest part was waiting for the finished tea to cool off enough to not scald my tongue. I have quite the sweet tooth, but this tea was sweet enough to only need the smallest amount of sugar! Will definitely order more once I run out.

I've never had chestnut tea before, but I like this one quite a bit. It's a very 'warm', nutty tea with a lot of flavor. It makes for a rich, dessert-like drink, so I might cut down on cream and sugar in it next time. I think it would mingle well with other flavors for sure. Maybe cinnamon!
I had heard great things about this tea, but was still a bit hesitant to try it because I've had some awful experiences with chestnut flavored things. I finally decided to use it as my free sample for sharing, and boy am I ever glad I did! Both the aroma and the taste of this tea are spot on. It has a rich, creamy, sweetness to it that makes it seem absolutely decadent, even when drinking it black. I'm not one for adding cream and sugar to my tea, but for those who enjoy that, this would make an amazing dessert tea. It's perfect for those who are trying to make it through the holidays without blowing their diet, as the rich creamy smell adds to the experience and makes you feel like you're enjoying the most decadent of desserts. I'll definitely be adding this to my list of favorites!
Update: Definitely stick to the suggested brewing time! I got busy and forgot a pot of this for probably close to 10 minutes, and it was pretty much undrinkable. At the suggested time of 3 (or even 3.5) minutes, it's absolutely perfect. :)
Love this tea mixed half and half with ceylon black. Very nice afternoon tea.
Not only does the aroma smell wonderful, but it tastes great, too! Wonderful flavor, doesn't even taste like black tea, and if I didn't have a 'system' or 'routine' I might just drink it all within 50 days, or if I didn't have like 50 other teas or more... yes, I'm obsessed with tea, my parents always are like: 'don't you have enough tea!' - I never answer with words, just more tea. Though, I should not have allowed my mother to smell it, 'cause this second 3 oz bag is for her.
I love Adagio's Chestnut. It smells delicious in the bag and in the cup. Although this is perfect for the holiday season, I enjoy it throughout the year.
I bought this because it felt like the thing to do for the Christmas season. That being said, I feel like when Christmas season is over I might not buy it again for a long time. This tea is in fact good, but it is overwhelmingly powerful and I mostly blend it with Mate teas (like the toasted nut Mate) to add complexity of flavor (which that blend is quite incredible).
This tea has a nice earthy flavor. With a spoonful of honey it is perfect for a cold day.
First received this tea as a holiday sampler. Promptly ordered my first two 16 ounce bags. I have Earl Grey Bravo in the morning and Chestnut in the evening. Love it!

This is my favorite Adagio tea so far. I could just open the bag and smell it every so often. I wish I had a potpourri that smelled like this. I love the nutty, dark tea flavor, too.
This was sweet in scent and flavor with some nutty notes. I was expecting more of a roasted chestnut flavor rather than sweet. This definitely is good for a treat on a cold day. I'd like to try mixing this with some other flavors.
this is a great tea - smells wonderful and tastes terrific- I also added some sugar free white chocolate torani syrup to this tea and it's like having a cup of dessert

Love, Love, LOVE this tea. It's like Christmas in a cup. Has such a warm toasted flavor it bring to mind the song 'chestnuts roasting on an open fire.' This is now my go to tea. I haven't tried it with milk and sugar yet since it tastes so good without it.
