This is a good nutty tea flavor. Tastes holiday with warm notes and nutty notes. Will drink this past the holiday. I’ve mixed it with pureh and it was a great mix.
Warm and nutty. Can stand up against a splash of milk. I don t have strong feelings about chestnuts to begin with, but according to my boyfriend it is everything he could have ever hoped or dreamed for.
I bought this 3oz while it was still available after loving the sample. This is one of favorite flavored black teas, my go-to when I want something strong and flavorful.

This is a good strong tea with milk. Love a maple flavor.
I can see why this tea is a bestseller. I like the nutty, dry note that is detectable near the end of a sip. The sweet note--resembling maple flavor, to me--is a bit too strong. But this is still a very good tea. Not something I would want all the time, which is why I ordered samples instead of the 3 oz. bag. But still very good for a change.

I love this flavor on its own, but it also makes a splendid base to highlight other flavors, like cinnamon or orange (or both!).
Yum yum!!! This tea is a treat! I am reminded of my maple coated pecans that I make. There is a flavor of pecan pie to me, although I’ve not really had any chestnuts before so this is only how it tastes to me. But since I love pecans and maple flavors, I think this tea is outstanding. I will definitely be re-ordering this one!
Nice nutty taste. Very mild, so it works well at any time of day.
I really liked the Chestnut tea, the smell when you open the bag of the nutty is great, I would suggest if you make it into a late to garnish with nutmeg.
This one's kind of meh. It tastes like a weak black tea with a very sweet, artificial flavor layered on top, and it doesn't really taste like chestnuts to me. It's more of a generic smell that I associate with trying too hard to be Christmas-y. It's not undrinkable, but I'm personally not a fan.
There s a strong artificially sweet scent to this, and very little actual chestnut flavor. Disappointing, because chestnut is one of my favorite foods/flavors.
I may just not be a black tea fan, but I really wasn't feeling this Chestnut. Seems a little bitter to me, I don't usually add milk or sugar, but maybe this one needed it.

Pleasantly surprised! Chestnut tea never sounded appetizing to me, but this is smooth, toasty and a tad sweet. Very nice after dinner.

This was the first Adagio tea that I tried that I didn t care for. The chestnut flavor tasted more like burned tea than actual nuttiness. It was okay, but certainly nothing I would rush to get again.
A lovely cup by itself, and its smooth nutty flavor helps round out a lot of bolder teas in blends as well.
Adagio s black tea is very strong, and the chestnut isn t as strong as i d like. I was hoping for it to be a lot more nutty .
Fabulous. No sugar or milk needed. Fantastic coffee replacement, warms you up from the inside-out. Nutty, strong without being aggressive. Edge on the side of less than 4 mins for a less bitter cup - time it! A touch over 4 mins leaves it bitter.

Loved the flavor on this tea. Special without being overwhelming or tasting fake. It has a high caffeine level which I did not know in advance. Gives a good jolt, but delicious.

This is hands down my favorite tea of all time, and that includes teas from other companies. This chestnut tea is so nutty and rich without being too overpowering and still tasting like tea. The tea at Adagio is delicious and high quality. I enjoy Chestnut black tea in the afternoons and during all times of the year. This has a nutty taste that is delightful while the tea taste is wonderful.

This is excellent for what it is - a dessert tea. Very natural sweet taste, def more for winter months. If you're looking for a low cal way to knock off your sweet tooth, I highly recommend a cup of this tea. If you don't like sweet tea, this isn't the taste for you. Very much makes me thinking of sipping by a fire on a nippy night.
First tried this with the Christmas sampler, and was surprised by now much I like it. I've never really had much of an opinion about chestnuts, but this tea has a lovely savory-sweet flavor and a very cozy smell--perfect sweater weather tea!
Nutty, almost coffee-esque to this non-coffee drinker. Very smooth and delicious. I think this tea would be nicely complimented by honey.
To me, this taste like you put maple syrup in with the tea and I am a fan of maple syrup. This has a taste that does remind me of late fall and early winter. I enjoy it with a little sugar and milk.
