Nutty and toasty. Reminds me of butter pecan ice cream.
Perfect for enjoying in front of an open fire on a cool night, in any season. A comforting reminder of the season of giving, perfect to share with a few close friends.

Nutty and toasty. Reminds me of butter pecan ice cream.
Interesting fragrance. Will probably not buy it again..but it was not bad
Tastes just like chestnut. It's very balanced, and not super potent.
Not nearly what I was hoping for with the chestnut flavor. It's alright, but on it's own, not much to write home about. I could see this working well in a mixture though.
I hosted my sister's large family for dinner and, at the conclusion of the meal, offered to make some tea. Out of all the teas in my cabinet, nearly everyone settled on this one. (It was a chilly late autumn evening.) Those who requested the chestnut tea were abuzz with praise, affirming that it was the most delicious tea they had ever tasted! A couple months later, my niece mentioned that she ordered a 3oz bag and the whole family finished it off in a single day. They quickly had to upgrade to a 16oz bag! What kind of chestnut tea mania have I wrought?!
This has a delicious syrupy sweet smell that carries over nicely into the tea itself.
This is delicious. The chestnut comes through well, and creates a bold, dark brew that stands up well to a splash of cream.
I didn't know what to expect because I don't recall ever having eaten a chestnut. Anyway, this is a fantastic tea. It is full-bodied tea with sweet, malty, and nutty flavors. It tastes strongly of Maple syrup. I noticed hints of sweet dates and Yams too. It has a smooth finish. I have always shied away from sweet teas, but this tea is a fantastic dessert tea. I could eat a stack of pancakes without syrup and as long as they were washed down with this tea, I wouldn't even notice the Maple syrup was missing. Now, that isn't meant to be sarcastic, but a positive comment. I bet this could be used in tea biscuits or tea cakes and they would be delicious.
This was one of mine and my husband's favorites. Nothing better than the rich taste of nuts in a quality tea.
This tea is my favorite tea right now! It's almost like a cross between coffee and tea because it has such a rich and warm taste. Everyone who has tried it at my house loves it. I just bought a one pound bag because we can't get enough of it!
This is a really nutty, earthy tea that goes beautifully in blends with other nut or dessert type teas. By itself I think it lacks something, but mixed with a bit of caramel or cream, it becomes something truly special!
This is a rich, nutty tea. Slightly sweet. One of my favorites.
Purchased for friend and have heard that it s delicious.
probably my fave loose leaf tea thus far, the flavor is so good! As a converted tea drinker, this tea brightens my mornings.
The chestnut tea has a wonderful, deep flavor - the chestnut flavor complements the black tea very nicely. I particularly like strong black teas, and this did not disappoint.
This was delicious. My favorite tea at the moment!
I enjoyed the nutty scent and flavor of this tea very much
I love this tea so much. I use it to make chestnut tea lattes. I steep it regularly and then add a sprinkle of powdered creamer for a creamier consistency and steamed, foamed milk on the top. One to two sugars and it's perfect.
I love this tea! So glad I discovered it as part of this past holiday's sampler.
I can see where this tea would be great for blends and all but as it is, it's not a flavor I enjoy as is. Sweetened or not. I've even tried brewing this with slightly cooler than boiling water and I'm still not enthused.
This is my favorite decadent treat to take an afternoon break with.
A favorite fall tea for me, and one I turn to when I miss fall weather. It’s creamy and subtle without the bitterness that some but read can take on. Wonderful wig cream and sugar.
I like it! I will be ordering again in the future...
Delicious! I love this tea. Definitely will be ordering more.
Another family favorite. Everyone likes this tea.
yum yum yum! I wish you did this flavor in decaf or rooibos though!
This is one of my favorite teas. It takes black tea to another level. I add just a little sweetener and it becomes a healthy way to satisfy any sweet cravings. It is also a great comfort during cold weather.
An amazingly sweet and smooth breakfast or desert tea. The smell is very strong out of the bag and does not disappoint when brewed. One of my favorites.
I wait all year for this tea. It's absolutely wonderful. It reminds me so much of the roasted chestnuts you can get in New York City. It's perfect fot the holidays and any time.
I like most of the flavors but this just tasted fake to me :(
A dark and Smokey black tea. Can be brewed for a lighter cup or quite a bit darker. It isn’t overwhelming and can add flavor and depth to other tea.
Really been enjoying this one -- particularly like it mixed with the caramel and a bit of almond and even candy apple for a delicious morning treat.
This would be a great everyday tea. It s not to strong and not to weak it is definitely a mellow, even tea.
Wow, I was not expecting this tea to be so sweet. It is not really nutty at all, like I had thought, and is one that I tend to cut back on how much sugar I add or else its way to sweet for me.
Great smell with a strong caramel taste. The taste and smell are very smooth. To be honest I can t really feel the chestnut taste but as a tea it s a good one.
This Chestnut tea is like a Xmas in a cup. I like it will little sugar & milk.
Very tasty. Similar to drinking boba. It has a sweeter, nuttier taste. Be careful not to let it steep too long or it will have a bitter taste
Yummy strong roasted nut flavor, a perfect holiday tea.
I don t normally love flavored teas, but this one is delicious!
Love, love, love this tea! Bought the holiday pack for myself & and my boys girlfriends. I've since purchased the small pack for me & again the large pack for me & small pack for one girlfriend! This tea makes your whole kitchen smell wonderful. It's a nice robust black tea!
An awesome black tea. Nicely flavored with a great nutty flavor. Wonderful in the mornings to help you wake up. Perfect for the holidays, but I love it any time of year. For a special treat put a splash of egg nog in it. Yum!
Very rich and deep flavor. You don’t need to use a lot and DO NOT over steep or it gets very bitter. I put honey in this as well.
Mmm, okay. Not awful, but not nearly as good, IMO, as the Almond tea. I ll stick to that one from now on.
Nice smell and a nice sweet taste. It's perfect to drink by the fire.
The smell of this one is a little off putting as it's pretty strong.
Very nice Chestnut flavor! Very unique and flavorful
Especially wonderful Winter treat. We also enjoy this tea year-round. It is truly a 'comfort tea.'
This tea is ok but I really didn't care for the woody taste probably will not purchase again
I was so curious about the when I heard about chestnut black tea so I ordered it! I actually like it as iced milk tea more than Just tea with milk & evaporated milk!
This is one of my favorites. The taste is soft and nutty. Sometimes I add a bit half and half.
