Oh my gosh! I love this tea. I ve never has chestnuts before now but if *this* is what they taste like- yuuum. If it weren t caffeinated, it would be my go to tea.
Perfect for enjoying in front of an open fire on a cool night, in any season. A comforting reminder of the season of giving, perfect to share with a few close friends.

I have always been a fan of Chestnut teas, and this is a really good representation of that tea type. Full flavors that are well balances and very enjoyable.
This one is my favorite. I love chestnut tea so much. It's so cozy
Pleasantly nutty but not overpowering (as I found the Hazelnut to be). I usually prefer to brew my black teas weaker and drink them black, but I think next I'll brew this one nice and strong and add milk to it. A seasonal treat :)
Wasn't my favorite black tea but it was something different and it was good.
Bitter! It tastes a bit like caramel but overall just kind of burnt and bitter. Not a fan
With milk and honey, this is one of my favorite teas. I wish they would make a decaf version!
Nice aroma, I've been enjoying teas with nuts in them recently and while this one appears to just be flavored (no nuts in with the leaves) still a pleasant fall taste.
Good flavor. I love chestnuts and this tea doesn't disappoint.
I really like this tea! Very good, especially in the winter.
Adagio's nut black teas are all so lovely. I think this is my favire, though. It feels like a beautiful morning dessert, esp. with oat milk.
I'm in love with this. It has a comforting smell. The taste is malty and sweet. I can't put my finger on it, but it reminds me of some dessert I had as a kid (not chestnuts).
This is one of my favorite teas of all time. I always need more
I enjoyed this tea, but it tastes very much like hazelnut making it difficult to distinguish as chestnut. If you enjoy a tea with a nutty flavor, this is a great seasonal choice.
This is one of the greatest teas around. I thought it was only available at Christmas time, but was pleasantly surprised to find it available year-round! Hooray for me!
One of my absolute favorite teas that I've purchased from Adagio! Soft nutty flavor without being overpowering, slightly sweet and perfect the way it is.
Wow, so delicious. The chestnut flavor is rich and heavy, makes for a very smooth and satisfying cup
This one had to grow on me. At first it was just okay, but am really loving this now in the winter, especially when blended with honeybush banana nut!
This tea is such a warm hug as the weather cools down. I love having this around Thanksgiving to get myself ready for the holiday season.
Absolutely love this tea. I drink it every morning. Love the Smokey taste and smell.
Pretty good black tea, the chestnut smell is stronger then the flavor, but it still has a nice toasty nuttiness in the finished brew.
My favorite, there’s always some at home because anyone 6 tries it, falls in love with it!
I've gotten this a couple of times and always enjoy it. The chestnut flavor can be a little overpowering so i often mix it with a plain black tea.
Love
I've grown really fond of this for when I'm in a black tea mood. It's nutty but not loud about it like hazelnut can be, and it mixes well with vanilla or cream teas for an even smoother taste.
I really like this tea. Perfect nutty flavor. Nice tea to have around the holidays. The tea is really good as a latte. I will definitely order again.
Tried it to say we tried it. Was a free sample. I am not a fan, but that was based only on taste. And I’m pretty picky. Nice aroma and colour.
a great holiday tea, but i think it works best in blends rather than on it s own.
I love chestnuts and have been wanting a tea that takes like them. Bring in Canada I couldn’t find any so I took the plunge and ordered 1lb to make shipping worth it. Glad I did. Perfect tea for fall and winter. It’s rich and nutty and tastes great.
EXCELLENT! Just EXCELLENT!
I love nutty teas. I discovered hazelnut black tea earlier in the year and loved it. Now toward the end of this same year, I have discovered and tried this Chestnut black tea.
Opening a (new) bag of tea is a FUN ritual for me. I wonder how pleasant the tea's fragrance will be. Well, MAN! This CHestnut tea is really sweet and nutty. Trying it tonight for the first time, I thought nutty and 'maple syrup' for some reason. Even while it was brewing I felt myself elevating to this sweet and nutty fragrance. Not sure where and why the maple syrup thought is coming into play, but that aside, this is a most excellent sipping eXperience. Very smooth and no harsh aftertaste. I drank this tea (as with most of my teas except fruit flavors) with almond milk and turbinado sugar. This is a great companion with my hazelnut black tea. While both these teas taste very different, having two nutty teas to choose from is a win, win scenario.
HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Has a bold, nutty, smoky-sweet fragrance similar to that of coffee. Unlike coffee, though, it actually tastes like it smells. Delicious!
This tea was unexpectedly wonderful! With a touch of sugar, it reminds me of Chestnut flavored Japanese snacks my husband and I like to eat. It's a mildy nutty flavor, great for a cold morning!
I've never had a chestnut so I can't vouch for how accurate the flavor is, but it's definitely enjoyable. Nutty and almost like a chai without and of it's usually ingredients. Would recommend.
This is a delicious and relaxing tea. I love to have a cup on a cold day. Perfect with a touch of honey.
This might be my favorite of all the teas I have tried. It is SO good! Nutty but really rich and delicious
A dear friend gave me some bags of this tea as a gift and I had to get myself a big supply. So satisfying morning, noon, or night, extraordinarily comforting. With a little milk, it's rich like dessert.
I love this tea! The only drawback for me is that it’s not available in a full pound package of loose tea. I would drink this every day.
This tea tastes amazing and the roasted chestnut flavor is perfect. Add in a bit of sweetener and it tastes just like boba milk tea. This is definitely one of my must have teas to stock up on.
This tea smells amazing and I do love the flavor, although it just tastes a teensy bit artificial. Nothing that would keep me from ordering again though!
I had to try this one a few times before I knew if I liked it or not, but I do. I have enjoyed blending it with chocolate truffle and some spice teas, and discovered last night that I like it just fine on its own without stevia or cream; that's when you really get the chestnut flavor. I'm trying to cut out coffee for a while, and I think if I really am feeling a coffee flavor, I could drink this one without anything added.
It is difficult to find chestnut black tea, but this one is perfect! It has a smooth flavor that is decidedly chestnut and not another nut flavor, without having any artificial taste. I will keep this tea on hand year-round.
Ok, so I was nervous about trying this one, but it was amazing. It s nice and nutty and smooth
I had roasted chestnuts for the first time last year, and this tea is spot on! It's delightful! I will buy again for the holidays.
If you're looking for a good, plain black tea with a bit of nuttiness, this is a great choice.
this was a surprise. one of my new favorite black teas.
I really like this one. It's a nice cup of autumn tea.
Rich, nutty taste with a hint of sweetness. Excellent when Jack Frost nips at your nose.
This didn’t really do it for me personally but I can see how someone else might like it. To me, it had a strong maple flavor that tasted a bit artificial, more reminiscent of candied chestnuts than roasted (but more maple than anything else). I missed the nutty, buttery taste of chestnut here. For someone who likes sweet seasonal teas, this evokes autumnal warmth. I’d recommend it to anyone who likes maple but it didn’t taste like chestnut to me.
I love this one definitely getting way more of this. It’s savoury and you could also enjoy as a Christmas or fall blend, but all year round! 😎
This tea is a tea staple! I'll never be without it in my cupboard. It's smooth, flavorful alone but delightful with a bit of milk and sweetener. I like to add a splash of maple syrup when I feel indulgent.
