This brewed up very well. I had some yesterday after work. It was nice and creamy and slightly sweet without adding anything to it. I might try it with a splash of milk and honey next. Definitely going to order a larger size on my next tea order!

This tea is amazing! A little too strong for my taste on its own, but mixed with the vanilla rooibos - the best!

★★★★★

This is a delicious, warming tea. We buy it by the pound and drink it almost every day!

★★★★☆

It's a nice supplemental tea. It's okay but not a favorite.

★★★★★

Flavorful, strong and delicious! This is one of my favorites in the fall.

★★★★☆

A solid tea. Mellow and tasty. Doesn’t really taste like roasted chestnuts though. It can’t compare to the real flavor.

★★★★★

Excellent flavor for fall! I enjoyed my first tasting black, but I suspect it would also be lovely with a spot of cream and sugar for dessert.

★★★★★

Very mellow flavor. A go to tea for me. Its not an in-your-face flavor. Good for every day drinking.

★★★★★

This is my favorite seasonal tea from Adagio. The Chestnut flavor is rich and earthy and sweet.

★★★☆☆

This was somewhat ordinary. Quite bitter until I added some milk, but it still tasted like a fairly standard black tea.

This tea smells amazing. I wouldn't say it tastes like chestnut exactly, but it goes really well with brown sugar.

★★★★☆

Rich and full bodied with a great chestnut flavor.

★★★★☆

The Chestnut tea is a good tea. I look forward to enjoying the tea during the upcoming holidays.

★★★★★

Fell in love at the first sniff :D, very delicate tea with a warm flavor, it will make a great bubble tea if you prefer boba in your tea. This is the tea that will warm you up on a cold rainy day, as it is no sugar treats no cookies, believe me this is best plain. I'm kind of contradicting myself here but there are many ways to enjoy a tea, this is just my opinion.

This tea is excellent with cream and sugar. Lovely way to start my day :)

★★★★☆

I like it. I am thinking of mixing it with something else, not sure what yet, but just to give it that 'wow' factor.

★★★★☆

Not bad, I like it better blended with other teas than by itself. Can be a bit cloying on it's own

★★★★★

Yummy, nutty flavor! It's not too artificial, and it's delicate, but really fits with the black tea. This is my first black tea from Adagio, and the tea itself is very good too! Not bitter, very flavorful. I recommend this if you like nutty flavors.

★★★★★

This tea gives me the feeling of Boba tea, but with the superior flavors of Adagio.

★★★☆☆

Good, really Nutty, but it would have been perfect with an Oolong tea instead of a Black Tea.

★★★★★

Very nice flavor and works well with milk. Hands down one of the best flavored teas I've ever had

★★★★☆

While this tea is very good, I just didn't get the taste of chestnuts from it. There is a nuttiness to it, which panicked me at first because I am allergic to nuts, but not chestnuts. I thought I might have misread the ingredients list, or been given the wrong item. But, I did not need my epipen, so I guess the tea was made with chestnuts after all! Overall, this was a tasty tea, that worked well with whole milk and a pinch of sugar. The second pouring was as good as the first, and both had a nice little caffeine kick to start the morning.

I love Chestnut! It's like a wonderful dessert tea. Excellent with a little cream and sweetener of choice. Started with a sample, am now buying the larger amounts.

★★★☆☆

I figured I had to try this, being the best-reviewed black tea. I was excited when I busted open the package and took a whiff, but less so when I drank it. To me, it tastes mostly like a standard black tea, which just a mild scent of chestnut and some astringency that can be tough to tame (unlike my hazelberry pu-erh that can be steeped for 10 mins with no problems). My mind was just not blown, but it appears many others would disagree, so it might just be my taste (pun intended).

★★★★★

This is my go-to fall into early winter tea. It's rich and nutty and I love it with just a hint of milk and honey.

This has become a surprising favorite. I would have never tried it if not having received a sample in my Adagio advent calendar last year. It's a flavor I never see anywhere else...even large selection tea shops. I really enjoy this one and just stocked up again.

★★★★★

I love this tea - it is rich and full bodied - very good.

★★★★★

Delicious nutty flavor without after taste. Very clean tea taste!

★★★★☆

This is one of the few flavored black teas on here that I can tolerate. I love the nutty flavor, it has a brothy weight to it also. I might pin this one for a blend.

My favorite robust black tea. The chestnut aroma is intoxicating, while not overpowering in taste.

Tasty black tea. The flavor is present but not overpowering.

Tastes like chestnut, but not sure if this is my cup of tea. Might be good with some sweetener.

★★★★☆

Quite a unique flavor. Chestnut comes through quite strongly which could be off-putting to some, but I enjoyed with a little milk!

Pancakes. Or waffles. Or really anything related to breakfast. That's what you should drink this with. I usually make mine with a bit of honey and some almond milk and feel like I'm eating the best brunch buffet that money can buy.

I love this tea! It smells amazing and has a smooth taste. My first purchase with Adagio and I couldn't be happier.

This has been one of my top two favorite teas for the last couple of years. You can't go wrong with this chestnut.

★★★★★

This is one of those teas that smells much stronger than it tastes. The chestnut aroma is quite pronounced, but the flavor is nicely mellow. It doesn't have that underlying bitterness that black teas can sometimes have. Although I initially merely enjoyed the tea on occasion, I found myself purchasing it again and then again -- it really grew on me, and became a top-five favorite over time. It's definitely a wintertime must-have for me, now.

★★★★★

Super smooth and the chestnut flavor really came through

★★★★★

very good and tasty tea, I am also biased since I love nut teas

★★★★★

One of our favorites. Just love this one, even when it's not the holiday season.

★★★★★

This tea is delicious! I wasn’t expecting it to be that great, but it is definitely worth the buy. It tastes and smells amazing.

★★★★★

A new favorite! Compares well in my opinion with the hazelnut tea.

★★★★★

Enjoyed the subtle flavor of this tea. Great by itself or mixed with other blacks or Rooibos.

★★★★★

Absolutely wonderful. It's very much an autumn tea but I'll drink it any time of year.

★★★★★

Definitely my favorite Adagio tea I've tried! It's a great tea year round, but best during the winter months.

★★★★☆

I love the smell of this tea, however, it does not translate into as much flavor as I would like. If the flavor was stronger, this would be a 5-star tea for me.

A super robust, deep, nutty aroma and flavor. Only the slightest bit dry

★★★★★

Perfect rainy day tea! I love the nutty flavor, definitely get the chestnut. Has a smooth, kind of malty flavor, no bitterness at all. Brewed 4 minutes @ 212 degrees.
