★★★☆☆

Its a good tea, but I like the regular caramel more I think

★★★★★

Love this flavor, great for cold mornings or pairing with a dessert. Prefer it with a little sweetner

★★★★★

This is my absolute favorite.I tried it off of the suggestion at the store. So good!

★★★★★

I love how strong and sweet the butterscotch/caramel flavor is in this one. For me it doesn't need any sort of creamer, sweetener, etc added - it's great plain. :) And it smells wonderful both in the bag and in the cup, too. ~ Update: It does need to be steeped for pretty much exactly 3 minutes, though. If I accidentally leave it for more than a few seconds longer past that, it turns bitter.

Tastes good, smells amazing. This a rich, warm dark tea, and I'm deeply satisfied with it.

Very sweet and great butterscotch taste. I add a little extra sugar to this one.

The flavors were disjointed and just didn't blend well for me.

★★★★★

One of my top three favorites! I love the candylike flavor to start the day. YUM!

★★★★☆

Flavored black tea and I aren't very good friends. I always seem to either oversteep or my water isn't the right temp and my tea comes out bitter. Such is the case with butterscotch. I tried multiple times to get it right but no matter what, my tea came out bitter and that totally overwhelms the butterscotch flavor. This is sad because the smell is absolutely divine and I wanted the blend to taste as good as it smells. Maybe some day I'll master the art of brewing flavored black teas but not today.

Update: I did it! I was able to finally get this tea to be as delicious as I hoped it would be. I added an extra half tsp to each cup of water and I lowered the temperature to 200. This made an amazing cup of tea that was reminiscent of Werther's Candy when I added milk. Totally worth the work and the wait!

Upon opening this, the scent of butterscotch is very strong and pleasant. Both the flavour and smell is similar to those butterscotch hard candies grandparents always carry in their purses. It's really good on its own with no sugar added. I haven't tried it yet, but maybe this with the honeybush banana nut could be a good combination!

This blend is spot on! It s a lovely warm butterscotch with a touch of sweetness. Not so sweet that it s cloying, but just enough to remind you of the candy.

Very nice tea. Delightful smell and perfectly sweet.

This was lovely! It has that buttery-brown sugar flavor without being overly sweet.

★★★★☆

A rich, comforting tea with a nice sweet flavor. It didn't really hold up for a second steep though.

Very good, accurate to the flavor profile. This tea has a milky/creamy caramel flavor to it like a butterscotch candy would. I find it very strong in flavor, especially on its own. It blends very nicely with other teas in a small amount to give it that little creamy sweet caramel candy flavor.
On its own with no sugar you can taste the flavor with a slight little bit of bitterness like an amber caramel. With a little bit of sugar it brings out all of the butterscotch flavor without making it too sweet. This tea tastes lovely with a little bit of milk as well, though when I add milk I always make it 2:1 ratio of tea steeping for a stronger flavor that will mellow out nicely when milk is added. It also tastes good for a couple if not a few re-steeps before the flavor really tones down.
I would buy this flavor again and especially use it in blends or to mix with other teas I have.

This is one of my favorite teas to make almond milk lattes with, just a bit of vanilla stevia and your milk of choice and it's amazing.

★★★★★

If you want a delicious dessert tea then try this one. It has a soft buttery butterscotch flavor that is very smooth. I have mixed it with my Cream tea and the flavor is perfect. I'm thinking I might try it with my Coconut tea next to see what kind of flavor profile I get.

Reminds me of caramel, I tried this as is but I feel it would be really good as a bubble milk tea. I'll have to do it for next time, but I liked it!

Very tasty. Lovely taste without being too strong.

★★★☆☆

More finicky to brew than I expect from a flavored black tea, if steeped slightly too long, it becomes bitter and unpleasant quickly. That mistake is mostly on me, and I'll take the hit for it. Even so, when brewed correctly, it tastes okay but not excellent. Maybe I don't like butterscotch as much as I thought.

Mom absolutely loved this butterscotch tea. She drank a whole pot of it:)

★★★★★

Wonderful hi caffeine sweet cuppa! Warm and gentle in taste, one that can be blended with other teas for a real impact tea, or just drink alone! Blended With Black Tea, Apple Pieces, Cocoa Nibs, Rose Hips, Butterscotch Flavor. Marigold Flowers. Delish!

It’s so delicious and soothing, a splendid desk treat

The smell of this tea is intoxicating--so sweet and butterscotchy! The taste is of black tea with butterscotch. I wish the butterscotch flavor was stronger, but I bet with a bit of milk and sugar this would be even better. A very good dessert tea. Be careful not to over-steep to avoid too much tannin from the black tea.

This is delicious, and tastes as you suspect it would.

★★★★☆

Nice black tea blend with subtle and delicious flavor. Not too bad on its own but great as a blending ingredient!

★★★★★

This tea is becoming one of my all time favorites! Nice caramelly/butterscotch taste makes for a wonderful afternoon cup of tea. Will definitely be putting this on my favorites list.

The butterscotch scent is so strong, I could smell it before I even opened the packet! I found that when brewed plain, it didn't really taste like butterscotch, but if you let it sit a long time and sweeten it well, and add some almond (or dairy) milk, it's more like butterscotch pudding in tea form.

Soo good! I absolutely love this flavor and it’s one of my new favorite dessert teas. If you love chocolate chip, you’ll also love this one!

Another one of my favorites. I don't know how they get the mix just right so it tastes like it's name and is very smooth. I love this tea with lunch or in the early afternoon. It is a black tea so the caffeine makes it difficult as an after dinner dessert tea. I sent a whole variety of Adagio teas to my middle son and his fiance in Seattle for Christmas and this was by far their favorite. My son has diabetes so I like to send him tea options that remind him of something sweet but with healthier ingredients.

★★★★☆

Absolute fave!! The perfect taste of butterscotch.

★★★★☆

Definitely a great butterscotch taste but the back end is a little heavy since it’s a black tea. Still delicious!

★★★★★

This tea is a delightful treat to enjoy, especially with a bit of cream and sugar.

★★★★☆

The aroma is worth 6 stars out of 5, rich and amazing. It also tastes delicious - but the flavor is several orders of magnitude milder than the scent. I drink it with milk and sugar, which makes a very pleasant drink; on its own, it is definitely not sweet.

★★★★★

Wow! add a little milk and sugar and its like drinking a a butterscotch candy.

★★★☆☆

Not my favorite, but others may enjoy. Wasn’t terrible.

A favorite in our household. This is a really delicious tea.

★★★★★

Probably a new favorite tea! The smell is reminiscent of those hard butterscotch candies and bring up a lot of childhood memories. It s amazing. I add a touch of sweet cream, and it s like liquid candy. It s amazing.

★★★★☆

best hot, I am not a fan when cold great with a Carmel whipped cream

★★★★☆

True butterscotch flavor, sweet and buttery. It isn't overpowering, and is sweet enough on its own.

★★★★★

This is a full flavor taste that seems more like a snack than a cup of tea. I will be keeping this tea in my tea stash since I love zero calorie snacks!

Didn't really have much of a flavor, but I finished the bag.

Good flavor. Something to drink as a treat for sweetness. (Not a strong taste, just enough) One of my favorites.

I was surprised at how much this smells and tastes like butterscotch it's really great.

★★★★★

Not reminiscent of butterscotch, but still a delicious tea! The flavor is definitely more caramel to me, with a good amount of sweetness and tastes so so good.

★★★★☆

This tea truly smelt like butterscotch but the flavor wasn't as prominent as the scent of the leaves. I feel like it would need a good bit of sugar if one wants that candy effect. It was fantastic though blended with the Turtle Pecan Rooibos (1tsp of each for 16oz).
