This was a rather disappointing tea. Most of the fruit flavored black teas I've had through Adagio have been -fantastic-, but honestly this tea just doesn't taste like blueberries at all. I just tastes like black tea with...a little bit of something you can't pinpoint. Oh, well. I guess they can't all be winner.

This is a good, everyday option. It's not bitter or overly fruity. The blueberry flavor is subtle but not too subtle. I drank it with some sugar and a splash of milk and it was quite smooth and unobtrusive.

★★★★☆

I think this is okay, but it wasn't as good as the other black fruit teas that Adagio has. It had an overpowering almost-synthetic smell to it. The blueberry taste isn't as strong when it's hot, the flavoring is better when it's iced.

★★★☆☆

I was not impressed with this tea. The blueberry flavor just didn't come through enough for me. Not terrible just not for me.

★★★★★

A surprisingly divine tea I wasn't expecting to love as much as I did. I tried this after enjoying decaf blueberry, and although decaf is definitely still a 10/10, this one edged in as the favourite. The taste of blueberries is as strong as if you tossed a handful of blueberries into your mouth. Delicious, even moreso when you add a bit of dark agave and heated creamy oat milk - it's dessert heaven in a cup!

I've got to say this tea is wonderful and tastes exactly like a blueberry muffin tea would taste like. It's perfectly balanced for a nice soothing comforting taste on drinking. This tea is worth getting.

After trying a number of teas on here and elsewhere the blueberry teas are something that I really enjoy. The berry teas tend to be a bit more flavorful than others. Really like this for a black tea!

It's good! The blueberry taste is well balanced with the bitterness of the black tea.

The one my sister likes the most. I plan to get her the blueberry trilogy next :).

Amazing tea! Definitely ordering again. I tried this both hot and iced, sweet and unsweet and it was amazing each time.

Smells delightfully of blueberry, but easily turns bitter if oversteeped. Otherwise, a nice blend of berry and black tea.

I was hesitant to try but once again was delighted with the not too strong flavors of blueberry. I will make this a regular.

Didn't have a strong blueberry flavor or scent. Overall, tasted fine but just lacked the blueberry flavor I was expecting.

Oof, not a fan of this one, at all. Something about the raspberry leaves in it gives it a really off flavor that's super noticeable.

★★★★☆

This black tea has a subtle blueberry flavor. I hope for more of a stronger and more tart berry flavor but this was delicious even though it wasn't what I was hoping for.

Excellent tea with just enough of a blueberry flavor to come through without overpowering.

★★★★☆

Excellent blueberry taste. I like this because I can still taste the black tea and the blueberry tastes natural, not artificial. Will get again.

This tea is so refreshing. I make iced tea and add a little simple syrup to bring out the blueberry taste.

I enjoyed this but wasn’t giving the berry i wanted. But once i got my expectations straight i was enjoying it added it to other flavors.

I've been searching for a good black blueberry tea since I ran out of one gifted by a friend from a local shop; this one is great. Adagio's flavored blacks usually either taste best at a lower temp for 3 mins or 212 for 5, but this one is great brewed both ways. Lower temp/shorter time is really sweet on its own.

The flavor is great alone, but use this in my 'crazy teas', where I mix many flavors together to find that perfect mix.

★★★★☆

The berry flavor in this isn't very strong. This isn't necessarily a bad thing unless you're looking for something super blueberry tasting. This is more of a pleasant berry tea, but I like the blackberry one better.

★★☆☆☆

Had high hopes for this tea. Just like the peach, the black tea is overwhelming the blueberries and you can't taste it at all.

★★★★☆

When it comes to Adagios fruit flavored black teas, I generally prefer the decaf versions. However, this tea is still a very good example of Adagio tea and is excellent when blended with other teas. While it's not possible to get a blueberry in every cup, on the occasions you do, it's an excellent cup :)

Really liked this blueberry tea! I brewed it at a lower temp for a little longer (195 4mins) and it was delicious — not bitter at all with a lovely berry flavor.

Love! It’s probably a tie between this and the decaf blueberry, depending on the time of day. But both are definitely favorites… top 10, or maybe even top 5. 🫐 One year later and still true, although it’s a 3-way tie with the blueberry pancake. And maybe the white blueberry and …

This is a flavorful and refreshing tea. It's sweet, with little to no tartness, and it balances well with the bitterness of the Ceylon--you just have to be careful not to steep too long or the bitterness will overpower the blueberry. The second steeping is even better as the blueberry flavor is more pronounced.

★★★★☆

The blueberry flavor in this tea is rather subtle and not as overwhelming as on some blueberry blends. A nice afternoon tea.

I love Ceylon teas. This is a good tea but the blueberry was a little weak.

I love fruit teas. When opening, packet has blueberry aroma. Added some sweetener to enhance blueberry flavor. Overall good tea.

The last time I reviewed this tea i gave it four starts but today’s cuppa was definitely a five-star tea. Perhaps it is because I parked the blueberry tea with blueberry custard pie. The custard added a definite creamy richness that made both the pie and tea delightful.

Adagio fruit teas, especially blueberry teas have become my “go to” teas when I need a spirit lift. The blending of blueberry and Ceylon black makes for a delicious/refreshing cuppa tea.

A cupful of delicious farm-fresh goodness is exactly what a cup of this tea will bring to your morning, afternoon, or evening. A perfect spring ladies luncheon tea. Definitely filled with blueberry flavor and goodness.

Update 5/2/22
After reading my first review, I decided to cold brew this one. This was definitely more fruity and really enjoyed it. Upgraded to 5 stars.
This was a nice strong cup of tea this morning. I love blueberries but this tea only had a faint taste of something fruity to it. Still enjoyed the tea , but would add fresh blueberries to it next time.

While still a tasty Ceylon tea, I was missing the blueberry pieces and the flavor! Good, but not what I was expecting from a blueberry tea

This is a nice light drink. Although I didn’t have any blueberries in my packet, I certainly was able to taste blueberries in my sips. I drank it hot, but I think that I would have liked it even better cold. Seems like it would be a refreshing summertime drink.

CommuniTEA Review: Brewed this at a lower temp (190°) for 3 minutes and it was good but still on the bitter side. I think this one would be better as a cold brew or as part of a blend.

I cold brewed this tea and added frozen blueberries like others recommended. It has a nice berry flavor, and is a solid black tea that you can easily mix with others to make your own creations.

Very good blueberry black tea. The blueberry flavor isn't as strong as I would like, but what it does have is very good. I might experiment by adding it to an herbal fruit tea and make a new creation. I think it would be really good iced too.

I'm not a fan of blueberry wine but I am a fan of blueberry tea! The blueberry was not overwhelming but just a hint. Nice blend.

Good tea, but definitely a little bitter. Can see why people say its better cold-brewed, will have to try it like that next time

I brewed this hot. To me, it is bitter. The blueberry flavor is nice. I would try it again and brew it in a different way.

I recently enjoyed Adagio's Black Mango tea, so naturally this led to my sampling other fruit-flavored black teas. While my heart will always belong to mango, I truly relished the freshness of this blend. The juiciness is neither overly pronounced, nor 'watered down.' It simply merges with the Ceylon black tea to create a pleasant mouthful that leaves me craving more... until my cup is empty. Best served hot, it makes an amazing breakfast companion, especially if you're enjoying a stack of blueberry pancakes on the side! Since I had no such stack available to me, I dissolved a bit of brown sugar into mine to cater to my morning sweet tooth. Very flavorful and aromatic, you can bask in the presence of the blueberry fragrance long after the last drop is gone and the cup emptied.
