I didn't have any blueberries in my packet and the berry scent was very faint. 90 sec @ 165 and poured over ice. It was okay as a light iced tea for my tastes, but not very strong on the blueberry flavor.
Ceylon black tea with fresh blueberry flavor. Highly aromatic, slightly sweet, rounded texture. Perfect hot or iced!

A subtle blueberry tea, enhanced with a bit of sugar.
Definitely a ceylon tea with a hint of blueberry. I'm not sure if it was supposed to have blueberries in the tea, but mine didn't have any. Dried blueberries in the packet might have helped to enhance the flavor.
The blueberry flavor isn't strong, but the tea is still delicious. I prefer sipping this cold brewed, it brings out the blueberry flavor.
The black Ceylon base overpowers any semblance of blueberry. I didn't note any actual blueberries in my packet either. There are other flavored black teas that I prefer over this one.
Blueberry on its own is a different experience... It’s good by itself, but I’ve tried it in various blends, and I know that the blueberry flavor is an excellent complement to flavors such as cream and vanilla. I much prefer it blended.
2024: adagio does blueberry blends really well.. blueberry by itself just isn’t the same. Very little blueberry flavor 🤨
2023: A good standard black tea with a very light blueberry flavor. Brewed at the recommended temperature and for the recommended time.
My all-time favorite. Love it, can't get enough'f it.
I'm not black tea fan I didn't see this was a black tea . I did not taste the blueberry at all . It tastes to me like just a plain tea
The smell of this tea is heavenly! I love it hot and iced.
i adore blueberry anything. and this one deffently didnt disapoint. i also love this one in blends.
light blueberry taste. I enjoy this iced with a bit of sweetner. Good hot too. Needs more blueberries.
Really good, I normally don’t drink anything but black tea but the blueberry is one of my exceptions. Great blueberry taste without being overpowering or overly fragrant.
Just ok for me. I can smell the blueberry but I don't really taste it. Just a black tea with some flavor. Just sort of meh for me. It doesn't stand out as a flavor like the strawberry or chestnut tea.
I don't like this quite as much as the white blueberry tea. The flavor of the blueberries doesn't come through as much. It's still a good, slightly sweet tea though.
Wonderful afternoon treat, also great as a cold brew iced tea
Good, but I still prefer mango, peach, apricot, passion fruit and all of the earl greys. I drink them all iced.
This is one of my favorite iced tea flavors. It’s light and enjoyable anytime
In a cup of tea, a delight I found,
Of blueberries entwined, a flavor profound.
Adagio's Blueberry, a sweet symphony,
Inviting aroma, a tempting decree.
As I steeped the leaves, a magic arose,
Infusing the water, its colors it chose.
A dance of rich hues, a vibrant blend,
Whispering promises with every trend.
In each gentle sip, a melody unfolds,
Blueberries dancing, their story unfolds.
A burst of fruity bliss, upon my tongue,
Soft sweetness lingers, a melody sung.
The taste, so pure, like nature's own art,
A perfect companion to every heartfelt start.
With each sip, tranquility washes over me,
A moment of solace, where the mind is free.
From the fields of blue, love's nectar prepared,
By skilled hands, this masterpiece shared.
Adagio's Blueberry, a treasure so rare,
A timeless creation, beyond compare.
So here's to this tea, a gift from above,
A blend that enlightens, a symbol of love.
I raise my cup with joy, and gratefulness,
For Adagio's Blueberry, a true tea mistress.
If you are a fan of fruity black teas, this one should be added to your list! It is a nice strong black tea combined with tart and sweet blueberries.
Very nice, the rare blueberry tea I've found that doesn't taste artificial. I've only deducted a star because the blueberry flavoring itself becomes very washed out with the addition of milk, leaving me with just a slightly flavored black tea. Next time I just won't add milk, but I thought I ought to warn people who read reviews before buying!
This tea tastes a bit chemical and processed to me, not much like strawberry and I didn't find many redeeming factors
I tried mixing this one with crème brûlée tea for a blueberry pie in a cup.
I don't love black tea but this tea is good. Nice blueberry hints. It's a good iced tea when I'm wanting caffeine.
It is exactly as advertised. Black tea flavored with blueberries. I asked it no questions; it told me no lies.
I smelled blueberry but flavor of it was not strong until tea cooled. It was more flavorful then.
This was a nice blueberry flavored black tea. I agree it's not as strong as it could be but still good.
This has more of a blueberry smell than taste. It is a nice black tea but doesn't really deliver on the name.
As far as fruit-flavored black teas go, I think blueberry is my favorite. I usually just drink it hot and unsweetened, but one of these days I want to try blending it with the black tea called Cream, because that sounds fantastic.
The packet smelled rather nice. I noticed that there was only a single blueberry in my CommuniTEA packet which is still apparently one more than what other reviewers had. The flavor is okay. The berry is there although rather light. I brewed as per the instructions, but the black tea is still more astringent that what I expected even after adding sugar. I ended up adding a dash of milk. It helped mask the astringency. This tea is generally alright. I'd drink it again if I received it as a gift, but I likely won't go out of my way to purchase it.
The blueberry delivers. Great blueberry scent and taste. Blueberry chunks. Easy to mix. Sweet on it's own, only a little sugar is needed to make it pop.
I was expecting more berry flavor from this one. There were no blueberries in my packet but there was plenty of berry aroma. Unfortunately there was hardly any blueberry flavor at all. It’s an ok tea but not something I’d reach for in my tea cupboard. (190° for 2.5 minutes.)
This tea is good very good very tasty cold or warm but I prefer a cold I love the blueberry flavor it’s all dry flavors together this is another tea that I will definitely be adding to my favorites list like I said you can drink it cold or hot but I prefer it cold
This is good, but the longer the cup sits the more the black tea overpowers the blueberry.
Blueberry has never been a strong flavor that I’ve been keenly attuned to and I don’t taste much of it here. Be careful not to oversteep because the bitterness of the black tea will consume any other flavor very quickly. I have some decaf cream tea on hand that I’ll try blending in to see if it enhances any of the flavors here. Not so much disappointed in this tea as it was exactly what I expected it would be, but I see it’s potential for blends.
I love Blueberry everything that Adagio has in tea variety! Blueberry tea is great by itself, iced, hot, or in Blends!
Communitea Review: This was a tasty tea. I would drink it again. I gave 4 stars because my packet didn’t have any blueberries.
Upon opening the packet, the blueberry scent was deliciously strong, but then faded away during the steeping. There were no blueberries in my packet.
Hiding behind the strong, sharp, dry and almost bitter tea was a subtle flavour that seemed to want to come to the front, but was too overpowered by the tea.
Then I added a tiny drizzle of half and half cream, which softened the sharp edges of the tea leaves. Still the blueberry flavour wasn't accessible to my tongue.
I added 1/3 teaspoon of sugar and POP, the blueberry notes sang out their subtle blueberriness in perfect harmony with the rest of the blend.
Lesson learned - don't judge a tea by the first sip.
I would certainly purchase this blueberry tea. It is superb.
This tea was very refreshing cold brewed. The blueberry flavor really came through.
Update: I hot brewed this and it was just as wonderful.
Smurftastic berry!
Smurfs have berry good parties
When they steep this tea!
(Haiku review)
A cup of blueberry tea
Tis not blue that I can see
And never makes me feel blue
But cheers me up, the whole day through
(Clerihew review, of a sort)
I wasn't really a fan, the aroma reminded me of a blueberry donut, but the flavour wasn't quite strong enough for me and did taste rather artificial as well.
I think I over steeped mine; I didn’t really get the full flavor of the berry; but overall a good tea! I think there were blueberries in mine but I didn’t see any.
In the bag: Ceylon with a few finely chopped raspberry leaves.
On the nose (pre-steep): Blueberry is the main flavor, not surprisingly. A strong undercurrent of sugar gives the blueberry the impression of being candied. Medium to mild intensity.
On the nose (post-steep): Blueberry has faded to an accent. The main aroma now is the unsweetened cocoa of ceylon.
On the tongue (pre-sweetener): Blueberry and unsweetened chocolate are equal partners. A good deal of bitterness. No more sweetness.
On the tongue (post-sweetener): Sweetener helps bring the blueberry forward. It also offsets the astringency.
Opinion: An okay blend. Though flavored black is my favorite category of tea, this one didn't live up to its potential. The blueberry should have been stronger on the tongue. I also don't understand why raspberry leaves are here, since they contribute bitter notes to a style that already suffers from them.
Preparation: First steep 3 min, second steep 6 min. Both @ 195 ℉. ½ teaspoon monk fruit sweetener.
I found this to be a reasonably decent blueberry tea; far more flavor than the Adagio white blueberry version. The blueberry holds up well with the Ceylon tea. It is also an excellent tea to blend with.
Update 7-11-23 I have had quite a few cups of this tea now and I find it to be a solid 4 stars of goodness! My original review was based on one CT packet that tasted bitter and had no blueberries.
Here it is: I had no blueberry in my Communitea packet, so I wonder if that affected my experience. I found it to be really bitter at first. I followed Jim’s suggestion to lower the temperature to 190 but the bitterness was strong. I added more sugar and was able to enjoy it more. A second steep was weak. I tried honey instead of sugar but I mostly tasted the honey. Not my cup of tea I guess. I steeped at 190 degrees for 3 minutes.
10 oz, 3 mins @ 195* F
I didn't have any blueberries in my packet.
Hot:
With sweetener it was a bit bitter, so I added cream. The cream smoothed out the bitterness. My first sip, w/o cream, I didn't care for it at all, which makes no sense because I love blueberries. Fortunately, the cream saved the day. It has an odd scent, almost artificial. When I get past the smell, the flavor is nice. Hmm, I like the Berry Blues tisane better than this tea, but, I'm enjoying this enough to use it in blends, when I want the caffeine - and I almost always want the caffeine.
Cold:
The bitterness is even more apparent; even cream couldn't tame it. I definitely enjoyed this better hot.
This is my favorite berry tea! Nice blueberry taste that lingers after you sip. Great with creme or sweetener, add a blueberry scone - perfect! Don't over brew. Repeat buy.
I immediately got a full size of this and I am so glad I did! I like it mixed with vanilla or cream - very fruity and summery!
Not a memorable tea, but not bad, either. Adagio's fruit teas sometimes taste a bit syrupy or at odds with the black tea involved, but this one balanced the flavors pretty well.
I love blueberry flavored teas typically, but this one isn’t my favorite. The blueberry flavor could be a bit stronger.
