Berry delicious tea blend. I cold brewed my cuppa today and the đŸ« blueberry really shined. No need to add sweetener as it brings its own natural sweet blueberry flavors.

Updated (May 2nd '22): This gets an additional star when cold brewed. No bitterness and all the blueberry flavor. Cold brew vs. hot makes all the difference with this tea.

Original (Jan 5th '21): This is just okay. I don't really get blueberry from it, just undecipherable fruity aroma and flavor. This tea, the blackberry, and the mango all taste the same to me - no distinct flavor of the fruit they are supposed to taste like. As it cools the flavor changes slightly to more of a berry flavor - though I would never guess in a blind tasting what this was supposed to be. This over steeps very easily. I brewed it at a lower temp, and it was still pretty bitter. I didn't try sweetener, but might next time to see if that would enhance the flavor and/or tame the bitterness.

Today’s blueberry tea was good but did not have tons of blueberry flavor.

This is tasty hot or iced. I prefer it hot with a little sugar. The blueberry flavor comes through quite strong, which is nice.

I really do love Adagio's blueberry teas, there's just something about them that stands above others I've tried.

I love a strong, flavored black tea, and this blueberry blend fits the bill! Be sure to brew this one at a lower temp, as it's easy to become bitter. I brewed mine today for 3 mins @ 200°F, but in the future I'd go with 195°F.

CommuniTEA review: I've tried Adagio's Blueberry tea before, and while not bad I knew it wasn't to my liking. So I went into todays tasting trying to find a way to enjoy our CommuniTEA sip. I thought about cold brewing, and brewing hot and icing, but some reviewers had said it wasn't the best, so I stuck with hot. I brewed at 195* for 3 minutes and then added a tsp(ish) of sweetened condensed milk - oh my soul! This is so good, like eating blueberry ice cream or something. I'm still not a huge fan of blueberries, but this is downright enjoyable. The brightness of the berries comes through without any tartness or astringency and the sweetness is delectable.

Sampled as part of the CommuniTEA; I do not like blueberries all that much so to give this one a fighting chance I made sure I brewed as instructed and added a splash of vanilla oat milk and a half pump of SF white chocolate syrup. I really liked it with my add-ons but it's still not a tea I would pick over other fruit teas. Definitely gives a blueberry pie vibe in flavor though, so if you like blueberries then this is a good match for you!

This is a blueberry flavored black tea. If you like flavored black tea I would recommend purchasing, if not skip.

This is one of my go to cold brew teas. Black tea forward bland with the delicate but distinct notes of blueberry coming in as an aftertaste. I find adding a sweetener brings the berry flavor more to the forefront and cold brewing prevents any bitterness of an oversteeped black tea. Makes for a very pleasant, refreshing ices tea.

Better than I remembered when I had ordered this one in the past. I think I used to oversteep this one too and ended up with bitter blueberry, not today! A smoother tea with flavorful blueberry, this one hit the mark at 2min 30sec. Which is great because I love blueberry!

This tea is pleasantly fruity. It smells very strong, but has a nice, moderate berry flavor. I brewed it at a lower temperature than on the directions because I've found the flavored teas to easily get bitter in the past, and it was perfect

Update 5/2/22: in light of having tasted the decaf blueberry, I prefer it to this one because without the bitterness of caffeine, it tastes sweeter. However, this regularly caffeinated blueberry is great with a splash of milk (in my case, vanilla soy milk) to create a blueberries and cream flavor!

This tea is fantastic! It is rich and fruity. Brewed at 212 for 3 minutes, it has a satisfying, bitter depth which is just great. Its flavors intensify when it is cooler and it is very refreshing when iced. This tea is already smooth and mellow, especially compared to raspberry tea which always carries a bit of a tangy bite. Blending this tea with Adagio's cream tea transforms this to an even creamier tea, and removes some of the bitter edge. Use this tea plain in the morning to help kickstart your day, or add cream and sugar for a divine dessert tea. Brew it more lightly if you want to enjoy the subtle flavors without the bitterness, or brew it fully for a satisfying, deep cup.

I tried brewing at a lower temperature, but I still got the bitterness I was trying to avoid. I tasted a hint of sweetness from the blueberry but it was mostly overwhelmed by bitter. (CT 5/2/22; 190F for 3min)

Sadly, no blueberries in my CommuniTEA packet today. I steeped at 205F for 3 minutes and still tasted bitterness. Sweetening and chilling helped a wee bit, but didn’t eliminate it. Next time, it’s 195F to decrease bitterness and maybe have some dried blueberries on hand to zazz things up. Happy sipping!

Update, steeped at 195 for 3 minutes, added sweetness and frothed milk creating a delicious tea latte. Lowering the temp and making a tea latte staved off any bitterness. Still no blueberry, lol. Sip, sip away!

Today's CommuniTea packet is blueberry, made with black tea, blueberry flavor, raspberry leaves and blueberries. I love blueberries and Adagio has so many great blueberry teas. I like the lower-caffeine decaf & white blueberry teas a smidge more, but this one is great as well. Steeped in 12 ounces of 200-degree water for just under three minutes.

Steeping this one for two minutes, as suggested by others, tames the bitterness. Good hot or cold.

UPDATED from 7/26/20 This is a lovely blueberry flavored black tea. The dark leaves have a sweet fruit smell as they pour into the infuser. They steep at a slightly lower temp to avoid bitterness. Adding ÂŒ teaspoon of sweetener (to 10 oz) and a drop of heavy whipping cream really helps bring out the blueberry flavor. This even tastes good after it cools, so would make a great high powered ice tea. Due to the high caffeine, however, it cannot be a drink for all day! (3 mins @ 200ÂșF + sweetener and cream).

Blueberry aroma; blueberry taste. It is definitely blueberry tea. I think it was a little bitter.

While this wasn’t an unpleasant tea, I was a bit underwhelmed by it. I thought the blueberry flavor got a little lost in the back tea, and there was a hint of bitterness detected from about mid-cup on. Would like to try this one again at some point, just to see if experience suffered because of the portion size as opposed to a sample size.

The smell is wonderful. Blueberry aromas. The tea itself is smooth and not bitter. But, the blueberry flavor just doesn’t come through. There is no sweetness that I love from blueberries and no lasting aroma of blueberries either.

I brewed my Blueberry (flavored black tea) at a lower temp and tried to not brew it for too long and then I let it cool off for a while... I also tried adding raspberry leaves and black tea honey, and these actually dress it up alright, but then I still get a weird aftertaste. I'm pretty sad about this tea and I'm not sure if I would recommend this tea. I may have to find different ways to dress it up or blend it to make it more drinkable.

I am drinking this as I type! The blueberry is subtle but oh so good. If you like the taste of tea with a little flavor this one is perfect. It replaces my morning cup of coffee. I even add a little rose pedal to it and it ads another layer of flavor.

These flavored teas can be very hit or miss, but this one was right on the money! Blueberry flavors appear on the front and back of the sip with a strong, juicy aftertaste. I was inspired by Earl Blue Decaf to buy this tea to blend with earl grey, but it's also fantastic on its own.

Lovely black tea with a mild but recognizable blueberry flavor. A little bit of trivia brings out the fruit flavor. Delicious hot and would probably be a very nice iced tea as well.
