The scent of orange was very nice this morning but I didn't detect much orange flavor. I may have just been out of sorts after an herbal tea and 2 decaf in a row.

Definitely tastes orangey! The tea itself is smooth. Definitely an excellent afternoon cup

Today's CommuniTea packet is decaf orange with decaf ceylon tea, orange and orange flavor. I thought the tea tasted good, but the orange was a little mild. I think it might be better with blood orange or maybe decaf chai added to enhance the 'citrusness' a bit. Brewed in 12 ounces of 200-degree water for three minutes.

While this tea was pleasant, for me it lacked anything to distinguish it from various other black teas out there. The orange flavor felt a little lost to the black tea for me. While not bad by any means, it didn’t wow me. Maybe sometimes just a pleasant cup of tea is enough, though.

This tea smells awesome in the packet and tastes great too, with the flavor of orange perfectly complementing the decaf black tea. I steeped it at 200 degrees for 3 minutes and added about 3/4 tsp of sweetener.

While a smooth cup there's really not much going on here. The orange flavor is very weak.

I truly do not like to leave a negative review as there is so much negativity in the world as there is but, this decaf orange tea did nothing for me. I was able to taste a very weak orange flavor even after a five minute plus steep. The only thing I am thinking that might have helped would have been hotter water but then that is not how I usually drink my teas. So very sorry, I am usually very pleased with Adagio teas.

This was quite lovely, with a slightly citrusy flavor over the rich black tea

Smells like sugary orange pop and steeps into a beautifully deep orange color. While hot the orange flavor hides behind the smooth black tea flavor, but comes out to play as the tea cools. It's not an overwhelming orange flavor, but nice and subtle and adding sweetener rounds the tea out into a lovely tea you can sip all day long. While not a bad blend, it's not particularly exciting by itself but I could see it providing a great base to add other fruit flavors to.

What a wonderful aroma in the package and even better brewed. I add a bit of orange peel and a touch of honey. Wonderful bedtime tea. 3/6/22 update...still a favorite. I love the decafe process Adagio uses...

Lovely orange aroma and taste! Mmmmm! Very smooth black tea. Brewed 212F, 3 minutes. Lovely cup of tea for times when I don't want the caffeine! Will definitely order some of this!
3/6/22 - mmmm :) Added a thin slice of fresh lemon to make the orange flavor pop a bit more bold...yummy! Lovely fruity tea...I bet this would be wonderful iced. Ordering a bag to try it!

I love that there is no bitterness to this tea and the lite orange flavor. After reading the reviews I think I will add some cream and honey for the second steep to make a mock Sprecher Orange cow tea.

The bright orange flavor wakes up the senses, making you question if you are really drinking a caffeine-free tea! Ha! I could see this blending well with many flavors.

UPDATED from 8/6/21
The smell of orange is strong with this CommuniTea packet. What a clean, fresh aroma. It steeps (at a slightly lower temp to avoid bitterness) into a red/orange tea. For those of you who cannot have a lot of caffeine (like me) this is a great choice. The orange flavor is light, but tickles your tongue. I add 1/4 teaspoon of stevia sweetener and just the littlest bit of heavy whipping cream (to 10 oz), and it is delightful. This tea handles a second infusion very well, so you get 'more bang for your buck' as well. The second brew I turn into ice tea (with the sweetener and cream) and add fresh orange pieces to give it a little boost. I can drink it all day without worry! (3 mins @ 200 º F + sweetener).

A very nice Ceylon black tea with mild orange flavor. It's nice to have on hand for a caffeine free alternative. It also works nicely with a fresh mandarin slice added.

had previously enjoyed the decaf spice tea until they added so much clove it became undrinkable or my tender palate. I tried this hoping it was the 'base' flavors to which they added clove. I was SO happy to find this was the tea I'd been looking for all along. More substantial than an herbal blood orange, but decaf so this is now my evening cup of tea in winter

★★★☆☆

This tea has a mild orange flavor. It's a good tea, but not one that I will purchase again. I prefer teas with a stronger flavor.

★★★★☆

This has a stronger orange aroma than taste, even with sweetener added. As it cools the orange flavoring starts coming through a bit more. On second steep I added orange peels to bump the orange taste and it was much better. @adagioteas

3 minutes at 212 degrees. I wish there was more flavor to this tea. I'm not sure if it's because it's decaf, or what, but the orange flavor is subtle and the tea itself is milder than the fully caffeinated version. I'll probably stick with the herbals over this one.

Almost like pouring orange juice into your tea. Very good and robust.

Love the authentic orange taste and that it's decaf!

Absolutely delightful! Once upon a time, my favorite tea was a certain orange-flavored one available at all supermarkets, but the last few years I haven’t enjoyed it as much - did they change the formula? Did my tastes change? Who knows? But I decided to try Adagio’s decaf orange … and my love for orange tea is back, my friends. Decaf Orange is citrusy and tangy and delicious, and I can drink it at all hours of the day and night. I like it a bit strong with just a touch of sugar.

I normally drink caffeinated tea, but Adagio has the best tasting decaf teas I have ever tried. The orange flavor in this tea was a delight, and it made the tea faintly sweet, so it was perfect to drink without sweetener. I liked it best hot and arm, but it was still tasty as it cooled, so it would probably also be decent iced. If you're a decaf person who likes citrus, I'd definitely recommend this tea.

I brewed mine at 200F for 3 min.

★★★☆☆

If you're looking for a piping hot cup of orange flavor, here it is. It's all orange, all the time but not much else. There's so little tea flavor that you could probably replicate it with orange juice mix and little else.

Love decaf teas for bedtime! That way you aren’t getting any caffeine and can still enjoy a nice cup of tea. :)

This is soooo tasty, I like it alone, honey really brings out the orange, I added some vanilla vegan half and half and all my Creamsicle dreams came true. Orange you glad it was our tea of the day!

I liked this one. I may need to brew it for a minute longer though as I felt that it could have tasted more strongly of orange, though adding a bit of stevia helped to boost the flavor a bit and helped to smooth the tea out.

Wonderful decaf tea that I could drink everyday. I tend to gravitate towards citrusy teas so this is perfect for me. The orange goes so well with the citrusy notes of the Ceylon black tea. Just enough orange flavor that tastes great, but does not overpower the flavors of the black tea. Usually I add honey, but I preferred this one without it. No bitterness or astringency noted. I drank it warm today, but this would be great as an iced tea also. Steeped 195º for 3.5 mins. Enjoy!

I was not a big fan of the decaf Earl Grey a few days ago, but this is really extraordinary. This is actually some of the best decaf of any tea I have ever tasted, it doesn't have that weak feel that is so often a problem with decaf tea. Strong, bold, yet complex and beautifully balanced. An amazing tea.

★★★★☆

I was a little underwhelmed by this blend. It wasn't bad at all, but it felt more like a template for bigger and better things, like the addition of cocoa nibs when hot or a twist of strawberries or other citrus when cold. The caffeine free cylon tastes very muffled, and the orange couldn't quite carry the flavor by itself. I doctored my cup with brown sugar oatmilk creamer and it was instantly more of a orange dreamy creamsicle after that. It definitely wins best supporting ingredient in my book, as the orange flavor was very clear and bright.

This was such a fresh clean orange flavor! I was very surprised in the best way. As usual, adagio does a great job with the decaf. I didn’t get much orange on the second steep, but it was still a fine black tea.

If tea blends had Olympic competitions, this blend would take the orange, er gold, medal! It ticks all the boxes for me... flavorful, not bitter, decaf, good both hot and iced, good with/without sweetener, great for blending with other tea flavors, resteeps well. What's not to love?

CommuniTea has really taught my tastebuds to prefer the decaf fruit flavored black teas to the caffeinated ones as they are not bitter with minimal fuss with brew temp and time. This tea was just the right amount of orange for a flavorful, balanced tea. Had 2 steeps, hot and cold and enjoyed both cups.

I am trying to cut back on my caffeine a bit and this tea fits the bill. The orange scent from the packet was nice and bright. I brewed at 205 for 4 mins . The orange flavor was wonderful ! I added some decaf vanilla to my second steep for a creamsicle cup. Great for decaf and very flavorful!

Dry tea smells zesty and very much like orange. Multiple orange peels are present among the decaf Ceylon leaves. Once brewed, the medium dark brown cup has the same bright orange scent. When hot, the zest of the orange is prominent, with a backdrop of bright Ceylon. When warm, there's a bit of extra sweetness from the orange. The black tea is not bitter, and there is a bit of zest in the finish that makes it a more enjoyable sip. Brewed at 200 for 3 minutes.
