A solid, bright, decaf tea. I wish the orange flavor were stronger -- if you hadn't told me it was there, I wouldn't have been able to name it -- but rather than taking center stage, it imparts a bit of fruity sweetness and a little tartness that just makes the cup that little bit more interesting. Definitely tastier and more interesting than a plain decaf black tea.

This tea was great! The orange flavor really came though and there was no bitterness at all! I think this will probably become one of my go-to decaf teas!

I actually prefer this to the regular black orange tea. A bit weaker body, slightly less orange but not as much astringency. Nice decaf option.

Usually I'm not a fan of teas with a big citrus flavor. I liked this one. Good orange flavor up front. No bitterness. This would be a good drink for evening.

Updated from 3/23/23: Definitely better hot. It's bright and clean and delicious. It was ok as an iced tea, but I like it better hot, I think. It doesn't have an overt astringency, which I appreciate, and I noticed the citrus flavour more as a hot tea. Steeped 3 min @ 195º.

This is one of my all-time favorite teas that I have purchased on this site. It reminds me of a soft summer day that I can enjoy all winter long! Delicious in the evening instead of eating something sweet. I just add a little all-natural/local grown honey~

Very solid tea to serve as a decaffeinated iced tea in the summer. The orange flavor, however, is not pronounced, to the point that I would have said it's missing entirely except for the visual cue of a few weeks orange rinds in the package, making me feel like the intent of orange is there. Maybe another package would have contained more rinds and therefore more actual orange flavor. Still going to drink it, just won't expect orange.

good ole Orange flavored tea, but now it's decaf so I can indulge in the late afternoon.

I really enjoyed this tea flavor. The orange notes is well pronounced.

I'm very impressed with the decaf black teas on Adagio. Usually these taste very flat and lifeless when I buy them elsewhere, but every decaf black tea I've tried from here is a hit.

Excellent orange flavor, not overbearing and not weak. Definitely good for a morning pick me up.

This is a tasty decaf tea, but I think it would benefit from some warm notes of cinnamon or other spices. I’m not as much of a fan of the simply orange flavor. For those who really enjoy the flavor of orange though, this tea would be a delight.

There is a beautiful blast of fragrant orange when the package is opened. The brewed tea itself is good. I was hoping for a little more 'brightness' for some reason, but that may have been an unrealistic expectation on my part.

This is an excellent decaf. Not overly orangey, but dry and crisp. Very similar to the regular orange tea, which isn't always the case with decaf.
★★★★☆
Very good, I have only used it for iced tea so far, and while I love the peach, this is a good change-up.

Obsessed with this decaf option! It could use a smidgen more Orange if you want to brew this as an iced option, but hot it it immaculate!

It's rather bitter unless you water it way down. The orange tastes a little on the artificial side.

Very tasty tea for evening with dessert when I don’t want caffeine. Pleasant orange flavor was definitely present but not as fruity as most herbal teas.

This has a faint aroma of oranges. It brews rather strong, but the taste of orange is rather mild.
To me it definitely needs a sweetener and a bit of cream.

A very pleasant orange decaf tea. Adagio’s decaf Ceylon with it’s bright taste pairs well with the orange flavor. I enjoyed this tea more when the flavor was boosted by adding extra orange peel to the infuser and decreasing the amount of water to brew.
My Ct packet had 3 g/ 2 tsp of orange scented tea with one orange peel. I added 3 more and brewed 12 oz. at 200*F for 3 minutes. The brown liquor had a pleasant flavor and was easy to sip unsweetened. I added agave to sweeten which brought out more orange taste for a fuller citrus flavor that was delicious and what I had hoped to taste. The cup was gone in a flash and so was a smaller 6 oz.resteep. Chilled, the citrus boosted version makes a very good iced tea. Some fresh orange slices added a touch of summer. If you like a soft orange flavor or you don't mind adding extra orange for a bigger citrus punch then this is a lovely decaf to enjoy.

I truly hope Adagio never changes the process for decaffeinated teas because they are perfectly smooth and flavorful as-is. Today’s communiTEA contents smelled wonderfully of orange and included a few bits of orange peel. More orange scent wafted up as this steeped (195F for 3min). Straight, the taste was closer to regular decaf Ceylon and the orange was a mere background hint. With a bit of rock sugar the orange was defined and it melded beautifully with the Ceylon base.

The orange smell in this tea is definitely stronger than the taste once it is brewed. But the taste is still a very pleasant citrus flavor on top of the black tea!

The tea was a very smooth black tea. A decent decaf to help unwind after a long day. Opening the package was greeted with a very strong orange aroma. Saw a couple of orange pieces in the blend. The orange was very light and subtle.

Opening the packet, the orange aroma greeted me. I enjoy black teas with orange, and this did not disappoint, although I felt it could have a little more orange taste. First and second steep were similar. Trying a third steep now.

I'd love to try the caffeinated version of this one. It was so nice! Orange is definitely a favorite flavor, just not such a huge fan of decaf :)

I'm surprised at how much I like this one. The smell in the bag is a bit artificial, so I was expecting to not like it. But it's very balanced when brewed. It's got a fruity pop to it - I actually am tasting a hint of cherry along with the citrus - but it's NOT artificial tasting. Pleasantly surprised! I'll definitely grab a bag of this at some point! (4 stars simply because the smell of the dry leaves isn't my favorite.)

CommuniTEA portion: Really nice orange flavor balancing with the black tea. Even more flavor as it cooled. . I've never really cared for decaf teas but Adagio is doing them well!

This is a really nice crisp, clean orange flavored tea. What makes it stand out is the emphasis on the orange taste without other spices or flavors added.

This tea has a nice mild orange flavor that pairs well with the black tea. I love that it is a caffeine-free option for the last part of the day. I found it was especially good with a little bit of cream and sugar.

This tea is decidedly orange. With a little sweetener (honey, in my case), it's quite reminiscent of drinking orange juice. I suspect it would be excellent chilled for that reason. As a hot tea, though, it's a little one-note for me. The orange is strong enough that I could still taste the freshness of it hours after I'd finished my second steep. (Perhaps a plus if you're a fan of citrus teas.) Similarly, because this is set on a decaf base, any astringency in the tea comes more from the orange flavoring than from the tea itself. Given the potency of the orange in this tea, it could pass as a breakfast tea despite being decaffeinated and would make quite a fresh wake-up call. (4-5 minutes @ 212F)

As an orange lover, when I brewed my communiTea packet this morning, I was a little disappointed that the orange wasn't very strong. But, as I was thinking about how it would probably be quite tasty mixed with the cream flavored tea to make a creamsicle flavored tea, it occured to me to add a milk. And wow, what a difference! Just a splash made this tea go from 'meh' to amazing!

A zesty and crisp orange scent pervaded the area above the packet as it opened. A quick 3 minute steep at 212°F produced a medium brown tea.
A mild and surprisingly light orange flavor was present in each sip. Not quite as strong and sharp as a fresh orange peel, yet still had the essence of orange. It's similar to the Tangerine Tuxedo tea in that way. The bold and brisk Ceylon tea was also tamed down thanks to the decaffeination process. Just enough to remain crisp and satisfying, but never bitter or too astringent.
A very nice decaf orange blend for the afternoon!

Fairly mild and the orange wasn't overpowering. It's nice to have an orange tea with no other flavors or spices.

The orange was just right, not too strong or mellow. It wasn't bitter and was fine plain but also good with sweetener. Makes a lovely iced tea.

This was a decent cup of decaf black tea but I didn’t taste much orange. I did a second steep and tossed in probably a Tbsp of Adagio dried orange peel but still wasn’t tasting much orange, so I added about 1/2 to 3/4 tsp rock sugar (it’s hard to know how much you’ve got with rock sugar). I still can’t taste the orange. It’s still a decent decaf black tea though.

This sip begins with orangey astringency and fades into juicy sweetness. Orange flavor is strong throughout and cuts a lot of the ceylon flavor. Refreshing and summery - I'd definitely drink this one or its caffeinated cousin again!

I love adagios Orange black tea. The decaf orange, black tea, is kind of weak, but really pretty good. I have to use 2 teaspoons, to get enough flavor and boldness for my liking. steep 3 minutes: temp 212: sweetener (yes) : 12 oz CT-mug.

The rich black tea baise is the primary flavor in this tea with hints of bright citrice and a slight bitterness. Compaired side by side with a caffeinated black tea it would be difficult to taste a difference.

CommuniTEA 3/6/22: I thought I would love this tea, but it's just 'meh' for several reasons: super dry mouth feel, orange is very bitter, and the tea is lacking is either brightness to boost the orange or darkness to mellow it out. It's OK, but I've found other orange teas that pack more punch.
