Pleasant, mild decaf orange black tea. It doesn't have the bitterness that many decaf black teas have.
Brisk decaf black tea flavored with juicy oranges. Zesty orange rind dryness, hints of soft, sweet juice.

Pleasant, mild decaf orange black tea. It doesn't have the bitterness that many decaf black teas have.
Wonderful smooth decaf, orange flavor for me was subtle but delicious. I enjoyed this better than the caffeinated one!
I'm so glad Adagio has a vast variety of decaf teas. When you open the packet it smells like juicy sweet Orange. When I brewed it was a very mild hint of orange. Somehow reminded me a little bit of the Chestnut somehow.
Another great decaf. The orange is subtle but definitely there
I'm a fan of the fully caffeinated version, and this decaf version is indistinguishable from that. The orange flavor is front and center, and is not weird or fake. It is tasty hot or cold, and versatile in blending with other teas - chocolate, oriental spice, or cream are my favorites to mix with. (reviewed through CommuniTEA; 3 min @ 195F)
Adagio does another amazing decaf black tea here. My CommuniTEA packet smelled orangy when I opened it. I decided to brew hot and chill which worked out for me. The black tea was not bitter and the orange flavor was subtle. Very refreshing! Brewed 195F for 3 minutes. Happy Sipping!
Edited: this is the second go around for me on this tea and I actually really love it. This time the orange came through really strongly and I appreciate the balance of the orange and the black tea. So it is definitely good evidence that you're taste can change and your pallet adjusts over time.
I enjoyed the aroma of this tea but was disappointed when the aroma did not come through very strongly in the taste. Nothing offensive, but I didn't get what I expected.
I tried this one in the 2020 CommuniTea, and now again in 2021. In 2020 I said I liked it better cold. This year I liked it better hot. LOL Guess it just depends on my mood. But that tells me this is a good tea no matter what!
What a morning delight!!! Had it right after breakfast and it was such a soothing part of my morning. Best part: no jitters!! Love it!
This one is a good base tea to support the extras it seems to cry out for. Alone, it’s just too simple, but mixed with a good chocolate decaf blend, or a spice decaf, or vanilla decaf, it could be a superstar!
this teas just ok. the orange is there but the taste of the black overpowers it
A lot of the flavored blacks let me down, but this one is pretty good! It's not aggressive in flavor but I do think you get enough citrus taste and smell to legit call it orange. I liked it plain but also thought some orange blossom honey brightened it up. I have to watch my caffeine, so I'm always happy to find a decaf that delivers. This one is nice and bright and less astringent than regular Ceylon. Orange you glad you tried it? Yes, I am! Happy Sipping!
Sipping along with the CommuniTEA: strong tangerine almost Tang like scents wafting from dry ingredients and packet. Once steeped for 3 mins at 190°F, I notice a deep black color with a subtle tangerine fragrance. When I take a sip, I notice an orange citrus flavor accompanied with astringent black tea tannins. The finish is fruity and dry on the palet.
Nice orange flavored herbal tea for a relaxing morning.
As with most Adagio decafs, this tea is a little more forgiving on bitterness than most Ceylons. Pair that already-citrusy tea with plenty of bright orange and you have yourself a winner. If you like orange, black tea, and little-to-no caffeine, you'll love this.
I found the orange flavor in this tea to have a perfume like taste. It was not my favorite flavor. I prefer a more natural taste.
Good tea with an orange flavor. The smell is amazing!
This is very good for a *scowls* decaf. The orange flavor is very nice, but the tea flavor is a bit weak. I like someone else's suggestion of adding actual orange to the cup. That would bring it to the next level (hot or iced).
Delicious! Plenty of orange flavor. Another great decaf option!
I'm not a decaf person, but if you must get decaf, orange is one of the better decafs sold on this website along with decaf raspberry. I thought about drinking this last night after 11:00 my time, but tiredness got the better of me. I'm now enjoying this tea at my desk.
Lovely! Bright, crisp, wonderful orange aroma and taste. Love that it's decaf.
I was surprised at how much I liked this one. The smell of the packet is very strong and almost bitter, but brewed hot, the tea is not bitter and has just the right amount of orange flavor--it compliments the tea rather than overpowering it, but is not totally lost either. I'm sure this would be nice in a lot of blends as well, or cold.
Nice, smooth orange flavor and was excellent hot and iced.
Light but bright orange flavor with a decaf black tea!
A very pleasant orange flavor, that isn't too strong or overwhelming. Adagio's decaf teas don't have that harshness that you can find with a decaf.
Someone mentioned adding a little vanilla or cream tea to make a cream-sickle. I will have to try this!
I'm not a fan of oranges. I like it mixed in with other flavours, but not just as orange. This one today is a pass for me
CommuniTEA Sample: Very nice black tea that you really taste the orange flavor in. This is a great example of the level of flavor that should be in teas. Great tea for the evenings, especially with cream in it.
Nice aroma of oranges. Light flavor of sweet oranges. The base tea is full-flavored with light touch on the astringency and no bitterness.
The tea really hits on all 3 marks. Its black tea, its decaf, and it has orange in it. Its not really all that interesting of a tea unfortunately. Its got your smooth slightly drying ceylon which adds the rich base notes, with the tart citrusy orange to finish it off. No real other notes are present in the tea.
The one reason I dont give this a 5 is because the orange pieces had a ton of pith on them (the inside, white, bitter flesh) that made the tea much more bitter than it needed to be.
Update: I actually added a bit of Scottish Breakfast Blend into the tea and it made it a much better experience! The bold pepperiness of the SBB really added some amazing depth to this otherwise just okay tea.
Overall, its an acceptable and drinkable tea. I brewed my tea at 212*F for 3 minutes and lightly sweetened.
Today's tea was nice and refreshing, but orange feels like a flavor that would be a morning time caffeine drink. I would have liked it better caffeinated. The taste is nice, though.
Great tea!
What it says on the tin, flavor-wise: ceylon + orange. Not going to set the world on fire, but I do like seeing a good selection of decaf teas.
Brewed at a lower temperature to control the astringency of the Ceylon. Though there were visible pieces of orange peel in my packet, I couldn’t taste any orange over the black tea; the mineral palate of the Ceylon seemed to overpower any hints of citrus.
As a black tea by itself, it tasted relatively good and smooth.
It's okay. I usually only like orange when it's part of an earl grey!
Adagio just might make me a lover of decaf teas at this rate!
I liked the orange in this one, but I feel like it needs something to go with it. Still a good brew though.
Edit: I tried it cold brewed for summer, and the black tea gives the Orange the kick it needs (the rooibos version is not spectacular because there’s no tanginess) but the black, when cold brewed, is a little bit bitter. Sticking with my 4 star review, because it’s good but not *great*
The orange smell (and taste) of this tea is amazing. It makes a wonderful breakfast time tea.
Great hot or cold. I lick it iced with a slice of orange
I would like a stronger orange flavor, especially with it being decaffeinated. I have yet to find a decaffeinated tea anywhere that tastes as strong as I want. I usually have to use a double amount. That being said, this was a pleasant cup. If you like mild flavor with hints of orange you'd probably be happy with this.
A pleasant aroma of oranges is present prior to steeping . When hot the the is a little bitter, so I added 1/4 tsp of honey. The orange flavor is very weak and overwhelmed by the black tea. Not a tea I would normally drink.
Orange flavor is noticeable but not hugely strong. A spoonful of sugar brings it out.
Someone said this tea reminded them of Constant Comment. I can mostly agree with that. More mild flavor than I would have liked but very good if you don't want too much orange.
Mmmm. Just what I was looking for in a tea! Orangey and decaf. Perfect for a cold morning/afternoon pick me up!
I think this is my new go-to after-dinner tea. I loved the orange flavor. It was a nice splash of citrus without being as strongly acidic as many of the herbal orange blends.
Did not actually like this one too much. The orange was a tad bitter in it.
very good but slightly bitter. nice orange flavor.
I loved this tea. I've been drinking more decaf teas. I put a little sweet creamer in this tea and it tasted like an orange dreamkscicle. It was really nice.
Also purchased to serve friends who need decaf. They loved it
Usually I pick up a weird flavor off of decaf black teas. Not so here! Love this one in the evenings with a Splenda when I want something sweet.
All the flavor of a fully caffeinated black orange tea, but I can drink it at bedtime- hurray! Please note, water boils at 199 degrees where I am, due to altitude.
