This tea is tasty hot or cold, but cold brewing really brings out the tangerine flavor. It’s a refreshing afternoon treat.

I cold brewed mine as I like most white teas this way. A good amount of tangerine flavor came through. It is a light tea. Another good one for summer.

I decided to cold brew this tea. It's very light and yummy.

A lovely white tea with bright citrus notes and a clear, delightful tangerine flavor. While it is very good brewed hot with honey (note: let it sit, it's better for having sat in the cup and cooled a bit vs. fresh from the pot,) it makes an excellent iced tea.

When cold, the flavors just seem crisper and more refreshing, and a pinch of sugar serves to bring out the sweet juicyness of the tangerine. Wonderfully versatile tea that hits the spot, hot or cold!

A fruity white tea is forever the way to my heart, and this one certainly did not disappoint. Tangerine flavors are juicy and mellow up front, settling onto a beautiful base of earthy, honeyed white tea. This tea feels like bright yellow blossoms after long spring rain.

This was a nice morning cup, a light white tea with subtle flavor of tangerine. I'm not always one to go for white teas but I did enjoy this one; I'm a bit surprised at how much the tangerine mellowed once it was brewed since it smelled almost like fresh tangerines when I opened the bag at first.

Cold brewed the tea this time. What a treat! Smooth light tea with really nice bold citrus flavor. Even better iced. Another tea to add to the summer list.
last year:Very nice white tea with tangerine zing coming through nicely. I think this will become my favorite white tea I have tried at Adagio so far. Love it!

Lovely! I would have liked a little more tangerine flavour, though - it's extremely light. Punch it up a little, please!

This mild, fruity white tea smells and tastes great. The tangerine flavor became especially strong at the end of the cup. Steeped at 175 degrees for 3 minutes.

When I opened my CommuniTEA packet, I was greeted with very pleasant citrus scents. After brewing my tea, the flavor doesn't come through as strong as the scent promised. I did discover that as this tea cools, the strength of the tangerine weakens. So, to me, it is best hot or warm and is delicious either way!

WHTE TANGERINE (UPDATED REVIEW)

Recommended 3 minutes @ 180*F. I steeped 10 oz for 3 minutes @ 185F because I don’t have a 180 setting on my teapot, and added 1 tsp of tea/rock sugar.
I tend to like white tea blends so I had high hopes for this one.
This tea smells very citrusy upon opening. The aroma faded quite a bit once it began to steep. When I first tasted it, I thought I’d forgotten the sugar and I thought, ‘oh, I’m not going to like this one’. I stirred the tea and the sugar made the flavor more enjoyable without masking it. It is a very light, citrus tea, but for my taste, I think it could benefit from a little more sugar. This isn’t a bad tea, and I think those who enjoy white and citrus teas stand a good chance of enjoying this one. I’m not sure it is a tea for me, however. Maybe I’ll give it another try in the future with a little more sugar. 3.75 stars with amount of sugar used, probably 4 stars if more sugar is used.

Recommended Steep 3 minutes @ 180*F

When I opened the packet the first thing I noticed was a very strong citrusy scent. At first I thought it was lemon, but then I realized that it’s orange. Visually, all is present—even what appears to be a bit of orange peel. It smells wonderful during steeping

Once finished steeping, the tea was a very pale color, sort of a light tan, as far as I could tell. It was also very light in taste…fruity, but light. I don’t know exactly what is meant when it’s said that a tea is ‘bright’, but in my head, this tea is bright. It also makes me (and my mouth happy.)

I steeped this tea for 3 minutes at 175*F for my first steep (since I don’t have a 180* setting on my teapot), in 12 oz of water with 2 tsp of tea sugar. I don’t normally steep my teas a second time, but I felt like having a second steep with this one: 4 minutes at 175*F in 12 oz of water with 1.5 tsp of sugar. The flavor was a little less intense, but still quite palatable and enjoyable. I wouldn’t hesitate to try this tea again.

UPDATED from 12/30/21 A lovely citrusy aroma escapes from the CommuniTEA packet as it opens. The various ingredients steep into a gorgeous deep golden liqueur. The flavor upon sipping tastes like a delicate but distinct tangerine. Adding ¼ teaspoon of sweetener (to 10 oz) really brings out the sweetness of all the oranges. This is tasty, whether hot or cold, so would make a nice ice tea. To fully enjoy, find a quiet spot to sit as you slowly and thoughtfully imbibe this demure delight. (3 mins @180ºF).

I did not get the tangerine! Not in the smell, not in the taste. This was a wash in my teacup at the prescribed temps and even a little hotter. I preferred it cold, but there are so many other fruity blends that I probably won't be restocking any time soon. (Try the green rooibos citron)

A really nice pleasant light refreshing tea, I like it better iced than hot. It has a refreshing after taste but I do think it needs, at least for my palate, some sweetness added to it, I put either 1/4 tsp raw honey or teaspoon of rock beet sugar.

Today's CommuniTea packet is white tangerine, made with white tea, orange and mandarin flavor. I generally like Adagio's white teas and this was no different, but I think it's better longer it sits. I tasted it as soon as I removed the basket and it was okay, but then I left it alone for about 20 minutes and everything seemed to meld better at the cooler temp. Brewed in 12 ounces of 180 degree water for three minutes.

This was a pleasant surprise for me. I’m not typically a fan of the orange flavored teas. The white base did a great job highlighting the flavor and lending it a delicacy that kept the citrus from tasting artificial.

Nice, light white tea with a mild tangerine flavor. I find that lighter fruit flavors like this come through better once the tea has cooled down quite a bit.

Enjoyed this tea as a CommuniTEA sample. I usually don't like white teas, as they seem flavorless. But the tangerine in this tea is so fragrant and fresh. I steeped at 180°F x 3 minutes. My tea was a lovely light orange color with sweet notes of tangerine flavor that needed no sweetener. It even stood up to a second steep, which I am rarely able to do with a white tea. Delicious!

Nice light tea with no real discernible tangerine or citrus flavor. Fine to drink; maybe a dash of honey and a slice of orange?

This blend just left me wanting more. It was light and delicate, and very mild. A touch of honey brought out a very light orange flavor, but nothing significant.

I tried this tea hot and, while it was fine as a hot tea, I can tell that it would make a much tastier iced tea. However, it's currently 30 degrees outside and it's been dumping snow for the past week, so iced tea just isn't super appealing at the moment. I'll try it again in the summer and update my review when I've tried it iced!
