Today's packet opened to reveal flaky and curled white tea leaves with the smell of sweet tangerines. A 3 minute steep at 180°F produced a light yellow-green colored tea with a tinge of orange.
A nicely flavorful yet light tangerine peel flavor accompanied the delicate white tea. Subtle notes of dry tea tannins fade in and out behind a blanket of warm tangerine zest. As the tea cooled, the tangerine faded into the background, leaving a dry white tea. A quick re-heat brought back more of the tangerine flavor and aromatics.
This one's really nuanced and subtle, but very enjoyable. It made a nice afternoon tea for us without too much caffeine.

This is one of those white teas that’s great hot or iced. I prefer it iced in the summer time and hot around the spring and fall.

I’m not the biggest fan of white tea, it tends to not have enough flavor for me. But this was a good one. I liked it more than the last time I tried it.

Wasn’t a huge fan of my communitea packet today. Mild tangerine aroma but barely any flavor and taste.

Sipping along with the CommuniTEA: Strong citrus fragrance noticed from the dry ingredients and packet. Once steeped for 3 mins at 185° F, I notice herbaceous white tea with citrus notes from my cup. When I take a sip, I get eucalyptus white tea with a subtle tangerine.

CommuniTEA packet tasting, I enjoy a delicate, white tea. The subtle citrus notes are perfectly paired with the gentle white tea. Happy sipping!

I’m a white tea fan and always enjoy it, either plain or flavored. This is a nice blend. The tangerine is very flavorful and my main complaint with some flavored whites is the notes are too faint. Not so here! The citrus screams out, “Come have a tangerine dream!”. If you like bold teas, you should probably pass, but for white tea aficionados who want something a bit different, I would give this one a try. Happy Sipping!

A mild tea in every way. Pleasant white tea taste, a light taste of tangerine. A great tea for relaxation.

When I opened the tea package I thought, 'wow! This is going to be a wonderful tea!' It smelled like peeling a fresh tangerine. The sweet smell was bright and happy. When I made the tea, I expected the sweet taste of tangerine to show through. Unfortunately my expectations didn't meet the experience. This is a lovely white tea but the tangerine taste wasn't there for me. Still enjoyable.

What a delicious tea! I do enjoy most white teas. The tea is more robust than I usually get from white teas which was a pleasant surprise. Not much citrus aroma so I didn't think it would be flavorful, but the tangerine flavor is spot on and there's just enough to work really well with the tea. Really enjoyed this cup and it was finished way too fast!

I don't really care for white teas. I like a stronger taste. The orange flavor is there and the aroma is nice...I would prefer the citrus flavor paired with a black tea though.
12/30/2021 - The taste is still too light for me, but it's an enjoyable cup of tea.

Nice refreshing white tea that I enjoyed hot and iced. Great flavor with the light notes coming from the white tea and the tangy sweet tangerine. If you like white tea and tangerine you will like this! I steeped for 3 min at 180 with no bitterness.

This tea is light even when brewed at 2g (2tsp) per cup, but it is crisp and refreshing, and lasts for at least 3 rebrews. It is nice hot, warm, and cold, though I do get much more tangerine taste than white tea taste overall. A great smooth tea with a lovely mouthfeel and a refreshing zing.

I am not a huge fan of tangerine! But I do love white tea. A little sugar added and this was a delicate cup of tea. Would be perfect for a Sunday brunch.

I was expecting more flavor after smelling this tea before brewing. I got a major dry mouthfeel from this and very little flavor at all. There are other white teas that I prefer at Adagio over this one. It’s not a bad tea, just not my style.
Update: I enjoyed this tea more this time than I did last year. Still the same temp and time used so I’m not sure what changed, maybe my taste? The flavor is still pretty light and it’s still a dry mouthfeel but not as extreme as last time.

There is just a hint of tangerine. Less is more for brew time (3 min = bitter). Overall a good tea if you adjust the brew time to your liking.

I absolutely love this. Four scoops to 40.5 ounces (1.2 litres) in my Sage teamaker at 160F (70 celsius) at 2.30 minutes for the first brew.
I rebrewed at 3 minutes, with the basket going up and down and it came out much better.
It has a very round taste, and the lower brewing temperature makes the tea pop better, flavour-wise, in my opinion, zero bitterness, just a delicate, smooth and subtle tangerine flavour, and it's gorgeous cold as well as warm

This is a lovely refreshing citrus white, on the light and sweet end as the tangerine is a mild citrus. Great for a light summer cup!

This was okay, but not as tangy as I would have anticipated from a tangerine tea.

Light and delicate, but almost too light for my tastes. I feel like I have to over-steep to get any real flavor. @adagioteas

Another tea that made me say - OMG! Love the flavor profile. Beautiful intense, but not overly so tangerine flavor. On my repurchase for sure list. Just love it! Generally I'm not a big fan of white tea, but this and the blueberry white have gained a spot on my most desired list.

I don't know why I keep trying these. White teas have NO flavor. Expensive flavorless teas. I am sure it is my palate at fault, as I feel all white teas taste like hot water.

Nice, slightly woodsy/twiggy white tea with gentle tangerine flavor. The light kick of citrus essence is the right level to match a white tea. The fruit flavor to me is distinctly mandarin/tangerine but with a bit of an orange peel flavor. Sort of a crisp and floral kind of fruity. A lot of white teas I like both warm and iced, but this one I think I really prefer warm! I haven't bothered sweetening it because it's quite nice as is! I'm enjoying my sample pouch of this tea, nice for a change! I don't think I'll buy it again, though, as there are flavored white teas I prefer from Adagio to have on a regular basis (blueberry, white eternal spring, buddha's dream, white tropics), and I get my citrus kick from calpyso green, blood orange or conga. I could see how this could be a favorite for some, though!

Not a favourite, I don't know if it was the tangerine, which I usually love or the white tea or possibly the combination, but I'm going to try icing and see if that tones down the bitterness I got in this one.

Really nice white tea. I've been enjoying this hot in springtime evenings, though I suspect this would make a great iced tea as well. The first time I bought this, I was hoping the tangerine/orange flavors would've pulled through, and the second time I got it (more recently), seems like the recipe was updated or my taste buds changed because I'm loving the balance of the flavors.
