White Symphony Customer Reviews

A delicate tea made from tea buds collected and withered prior to opening. It creates a pale yellow, light-bodied, yet complex cup with hints of honeydew and a faint floral sweetness.

★★★☆☆

It s not bad but its not a very strong tea but that might be normal. It s the first white tea i ve had.

★★★★★

I love this delicate and delightful tea. It's a wonderful cup to fall asleep with.

★★★★★

Absolutely delightful white tea. You would think there are other ingredients added by the fruity flavor but there’s nothing, just pure tea. Will order again.

I keep White Symphony stocked at all times. It goes great with dessert, especially chocolate. Unlike black teas, it won't keep me awake at night.

This has, to me at least, a more pronounced 'tea' flavor than the white peony that it is to be a higher quality version of. I felt that was a bit more fruity tasting. White Symphony is a much better flavor. It has a soft mouth feel that is almost velvety in texture.

A very smooth subtle tea. A great tea to use for relaxing.

★★★★★

Definitely worth a try for any white tea lover or a fan of bai mu dan tea! Excellent and the taste is crisp. I tend to use a gaiwan as my brewing vessel of choice. Gongfu style steeping allows one to taste the tea in increments allowing all flavor notes to come out over time. Excellent and would recommend! Lovely for a cold day or a bright spring morning.

A great white tea. A bit fruity but overall balanced.

I'm not normally very big on white teas, but this one is okay. It creates a very pretty golden color when steeped, and it smells interesting. The scent to me is almost a sweet yet savory type of smell. It has a very light flavor, but it is rather enjoyable nevertheless. I don't get the notes of honeydew, but I do believe I'm picking up on a bit of the floral sweetness that they mention. I'm not sure if I'll order a new bag when I make another order, but you would probably enjoy this if you're a fan of white teas!

Very beautiful leaves! This tea has a richer and fuller flavor to it than most of the white teas that I have tried. Definitely a floral and fruity flavor to it.

Just delightful. While it may not quite replace my beloved White Peony in my affections, I definitely see why people often say that White Symphony is like White Peony, only better. It's an impressive cup of tea, the sort of thing that I drink when I want to feel sophisticated and refined, or when I want to bring back old childhood memories of going to nice Chinese and Japanese restaurants with my parents. This is the kind of tea they served at the best places I've been to. It just tastes like sophistication and culture to me.

I know, that's probably pretty silly, but nevertheless, those are the associations I have.

It's sweet and floral all on its own, needing nothing added to it to be perfect. I never add sugar to my white teas in any event, but Symphony *definitely* doesn't need it. Wonderful! I must add my voice to the chorus saying that if you enjoy White Peony, you should definitely try White Symphony.

By the way, my brewing temperature is influenced by the fact that I live at high altitude. If you don't, you should probably brew it at a higher temperature than I do.

I am a fan of white teas and this one is a favorite already after 1 cup.. Temp is huge in white teas..use water too hot and the tea is not good...might taste awful with tempt too hot! I tend to use water temp even lower than the usual recommendation. The different textures within this white tea here are exquisite..I don't know how to describe it but say its like a little bit of a 'thick' nectar and not simply tea water. Love the flavors blended here.

Beautifully delicate with just the right amount of sweetness to finish it off! I’m sensitive to caffeine, and thankfully sine the content in this is lower, it doesn’t cause the jitteriness like green tea does.

Elegant, light and smooth - exactly what you want in a white tea!

★★★★★

Pleasant aroma makes calming enjoyment equals peaceful break on Sunday mornings. One of my favorites.

★★★★★

I absolutely fell in love with this tea at first sip! It's the love child of White Peony and Silver Needles, offering a tea that's mellow and fresh with a little bit of a flowery taste, yet more flavorful than a typical white tea. I have to try so hard to not drink this every day just so it lasts longer! It's a great tea for any time of day - morning, afternoon, after dinner, before bed, or anytime in between. It's a beautiful combination of flavors and ties with Silver Needle for my favorite white tea.

★★★★☆

Not my favorite white tea, but definitely glad I tried a sample!

★★★★☆

This is a nice white tea. The flavors aren't as complex as others I've tried, but it is solid and dependable.

Fairly good white tea. Subtle but pleasant. Will be purchasing this one again

★☆☆☆☆

Let me start by saying, I have not tasted the tea and it might be good/ok/bad (besides the point).
When I opened the package i saw human hair in the tea packet. Needless to say, i will not be tasting it, but really disappointed with quality check by adagio.

★★★★☆

It was cheaper to order the 3 oz. bag than the sample. I was hopeful, but White Symphony did not impress much. It is a basic white tea, very mild and easily forgettable.

A bit disappointing. Brewed according to instructions but has a somewhat bitter and lingering aftertaste. The aroma of the leaves is devine but the taste is meh. I'm glad Adagio offers samples, which is what I purchased.

This tea was pleasant and rich, though I m afraid I still oversteep a bit. Its better than Silver Needles!

Such a great well balanced white tea. Delicate but with a lot to offer if you like white teas.

★★★★★

Love this one when I’m craving a clean tea. Very lovely foundation tea.

★★★★★

This one got me into white tea. It is soft and refreshing with just enough complexity to keep things interesting.

★★★★★

It's a very good tea and I enjoy it very much! I would definitely buy again!

This was very subtle, but quite lovely. Excellent tea for relaxing and reflecting.

Nice, light tea that isn't too intense. Recommend it for white tea fans or people who want something lighter.

★★★★★

Delicious white tea, I usually do my own mix, but this added a perfect note to my blend.

★★★★★

Great light earthy flavor with not too much caffeine

One of my favorite white teas to experiment with. It is so easy to enjoy as you get many different pronounced notes of high quality white teas. Soft flavors on the palate with a bouquet of flowers and honey on the nose. This is a great tea to enjoy with a friend as you can steep the leaves over and over.

One of my all time favorite white teas from adagio. It s so smooth and almost reminds me of a very light-bodied matcha. It has a very light sweet tone to it.

★★★★★

Light and lovely, pleasantly fragrant and a delicious flavor.

★★★★★

A nice clean tasting medley of various white teas.

Just got a new supply of this white tea. We are enjoying the light subtle flavor of this tea. Have found we need to be a bit generous with it measuring this white to get the full flavor if this beauty. It's one of our favorite after dinner teas, great for unwinding and relaxing at the end of an active day.

★★★★☆

Very subtle- if you like a strong tea this may not be for you. I personally love this when I want something warm with just a bit of caffeine, but not too crazy of a flavor.

This is such an easy drinking, light, and smooth white tea. So glad I got it on sale!

★★★★★

What a fun white tea! It was very surprising to have so much richness in flavor from a plain white tea. Obviously still very light, but the sweetness and depth took me by surprise.

I've been drinking this brand for years. One of my all time favorite. A great tea for the price.

★★★★★

An absolutely delightful tea! It is subtle but full of nuanced and complex flavors.

★★★★★

This is my perfect cup(s) of tea. Smooth, fragrant, mellow and just great tea. I have many teas and I am a white tea snob but this is the best ever!

★★★★☆

This has has the tea I've purchased the most as it has been the most consistently good cup over the years that I've purchased it. Some of the other white teas were good and then not so good from one bag to the next. I've tried more expensive white teas that were OK, but not worth the extra cost and weren't as enjoyable as the lower cost White Symphony! I'm hoping the recent price jump is not permanent as i drink this every morning and so value is important to me. I'll pay to get a good cup, but I do not appreciate overpaying for a mediocre or disappointing cup...

★★★★☆

Very mellow with a light, sweet and earthy flavor.

★★★★★

After getting the White tea sampler I found I like the White Symphony the best. I am normally a black tea drinker and found W.S. to be smooth and not too green tasting.
