I have had white teas before but I don’t think I have had a plain one before now. Very nice. For those who do not like overpowering flavors, this one would be a good choice. It is nice and subtle but there is a good flavor there. Good enough to have me considering giving white teas more of a chance than I have.

I'm not usually a white tea fan but this one is amazing. The flavor is light but complex, and needs no dressing up. Excellent.

This tea is true to the description. Light, slightly sweet and floral. Very nice!

The dry leaves smell really floral, but the steeped tea is a lot more subtly sweet. Really nice

One of my favorites from Adagio. Soft, lightly floral with a faintly grassy depth. Not astringent or mouth drying. This is the kind of tea I can drink all day.

I think this is one of the best white teas I have had from Adagio. In the world of teas, this one is SIMPLY ELEGANT! That said, this is not the type of tea to drink when in a rush, because you need to pause to take in all the delicate flavors. There was absolutely NO bitterness with this brew! It was a clean, crisp, delightful cup of tea - perfect just as it is (no sweetener or cream needed). It got better tasting as it cooled, so it will be just as good on ice. (3 mins @ 180ºF).

This is a really light and tasty tea. I usually go for flavored varieties but it was nice to just have a regular unflavored cup this morning. It was very enjoyable.

I'm just not big on white teas on their own. There's little to no flavor that I can taste here, so while I think it would be great to soften other flavors if used in a blend, it's not for me on its own.
★★★☆☆
Not much flavor, very light and delicate. If you are not a white tea drinker, this one won't change your mind.

Very light, smooth taste with no aftertaste. Refreshing as a hot tea with no sweetener needed.

Beautiful white tea, light and slightly sweet. I had a slight cucumber smell, and the taste was nothing less than I expect from a white tea. This gets a resounding thumbs up from me.

This tea is so bland. No flavor no taste. Maybe I did not brew it long enough but I’m not feeling it

Simple, crisp and clean...as tea should be. Perfection in a cup!

It's a solid basic light tea. I didn't really capture all the suggested nuance, but it was pleasant. Nothing wrong with it, but nothing exceptional either.

Beautiful silver buds and dark green wispy leaves with few very stems were noted in the packet. When hot, I was presented with a stately golden colored liquor and woodsy flavors. When warm, this tea has a buttery mouthfeel and mild zing notes similar to a white silver needle tea. White Symphony was much more complex with faintly floral and sweet corn flavors added. An overall smooth mouthfeel was noted from the start with an uplifting finish at the end. This one’s not my favorite white (Yunnan Pu-Erh White,) but it runs a close second. (3 mins @ 185ºF, no sugar)

There isn't too much to say here with this blend. It certainly isn't bad by any means, but the taste is a bit too soft to really notice. I could see it being great for sick days, though- and the scent is pretty good, even better upon brewing.

White teas are just 'special', unique, flavorful, delicate, and always enjoyable.

Lightly floral, and well-balanced. I’m normally more of a black tea, kick-you-in-the-mouth, douse it with heavy cream type of tea drinker, but this one was delightful even to my barbarian palate 🤗

A good white tea, coming from somebody who doesn't know much about white tea. Liked it, but lighter than I usually have it- which is probably as it should be.

Incredibly good iced. I used 6g of tea to brew a quart pitcher's worth (usually I use 3g of a black, oolong, or green).

It tastes like dried leaves? Which I should have been expecting but I wasn’t.

A very good white tea, like silver needle only instead of an almost sparkling champagne mouth feel, this one is flatter and a little thicker. Slightly less fruity

Very refreshing taste. Makes a great ice tea if you add a little spearmint and add an orange slice

A really pleasant mixture of subtle white tea flavors. This is my go-to workhorse of white teas, the kind of tea you can drink every morning for a week and not get tired of.

I picked up a sample of the white symphony early on in my tea journey, but was too intimidated to steep it without the aid of a variable-temperature kettle, and then even after I had one, I kept passing it by on my way to teas that have flavors and add-ins and all other sorts of bells and whistles. No more!
The two top adjectives that come to mind on tasting this cup are 'floral' and 'crisp'. White tea has a perfume to it that is similar to but distinct from oolong, and this tea has it in abundance. It's mildly astringent, leaving a dryness in my mouth that I actually quite like. I suspect that a white tea aficionado with a more discerning palate than mine would be delighted with the quality of this one.
I don't care for the fact that white tea requires so much more leaf to steep correctly, but that's no fault of this particular product. What I specifically wasn't a fan of with the symphony were the multiple long twigs I picked out and threw away rather than dropping into my strainer basket. But, I think those are more a mark of the artisan nature of the product than anything else.

Pretty sure I got a sample of this, and liked it well enough to try again...yes, was worth it, and I'll buy it again! Delicate (for me) floral sweetness, a good pickmeup in the afternoon when I may not want full-caffeine tea. Now all I have to do is get a variable temperature kettle with a 180 degree setting; the best I can do now is use the 195 setting and not warm the pot.

Very light tea. Perfect for a quiet afternoon with a book! Brewed it in my new ActiviTea which I'll also be reviewing. I am finding I'm very much enjoying the white teas and - of course - Adagio Teas have never failed!

Beautiful flavor. Very refreshing I think could be delicious hot or iced

This is a great white tea, second in my white tea repertoire only to jasmine silver needle. This white tea is a bit lighter and makes for a great day time tea.

the first white tea I have tried from here. I am enjoying it a lot. Light and sweet flavour, keeps me company on cool afternoons while I work. To me, it tasted better at a slightly lower steeping temperature.

I always let it steep for a lot longer than it says to and it turns out fine. Usually around 10-15 minutes. Partly because I forget about it, and also it adds a little more flavor since this is a mild tea.

Beautiful, bright and fruity smelling dry tea. The liquor is very light with a subtle sweet aroma. It has a sweet corn-like flavor with a pleasant vegetatable note. This tea is very similar to the silver sprout and equally enjoyable.

OMG this may be my favorite plain white tea ever! I love the mildness and the slight sweetness of it, and even like adding other flavors to it. I drink it both alone and with other white, green and herbal teas. So good!!
