Has a pleasing viscous sensation, as though honey had been added. It is indeed similar to White Peony, and I would say the White Symphony is slightly better.
A delicate tea made from tea buds collected and withered prior to opening. It creates a pale yellow, light-bodied, yet complex cup with hints of honeydew and a faint floral sweetness.

This is the first white tea that I ve tried that actually tastes like a white tea to me. It s sweet, gentle, and fresh. Its got a very light flavor that is excellent hot. This is a cousin to white peony only even more mild tasting. It can be prone to some tannic bitterness if it s steeped too hot, but a short low temp steep makes a delightful cup.
Clean and light, this has a subtle but lovely flavor.
This a smooth and delicate tea that has the same fresh taste as white peony but a little sweeter. I get notes of honeydew and a delicious sugary floral aroma. It's great brewed western style or gongfu, and I can get about 4 good steepings out of it.
I absolutely love this tea! I previously purchased the white peony tea from adagio and adored it. I started to run low on the white peony so I got on to order more and was sad to see it was sold out. I looked through the options and stumbled upon the white symphony tea, and I decided to give it a try as I have heard it may be similar to white peony. I think I might like this even more! It is a bit bolder than the white peony, but it is just as smooth. It has a lovely flavor, slightly floral, and I am interested in having it iced when it gets warmer out as I think it would make a very refreshing iced tea. I highly recommend this if you enjoy white teas!
White tea---The new black tea! Refreshing, clean, light with lovely undertones of white nectarine crispness and white peonies. Truly a savory delicious tea and healthy healthy healthy for you! A wonderful alternative cuppa for a warm cozy and very refreshed day or night.
This tea is floral and nectar forward. Delicate and refreshing. Really enjoyed with a smidge of honey.
My favorite white by far. A lovely, light white perfect for relaxing.
Love this tea! It is perfect in the morning or after dinner.
A light and refreshing tea with a slightly sweet taste of honeyed fruit and a touch of floral notes - I enjoyed it both hot and iced. I received the most sweetness brewing this gong fu style but even if brewed in a larger amount it's flavorful with little astringency. With either brewing style I found this tea was good for up to 3 infusions. I will be buying this again!
Very earthy. I think it’s a little heavier than most white teas but not in a bad way.
This is a pretty good white tea. Very light, slightly sweet flavor. I did need to add sugar to bring out the more complex flavors but it’s pretty good. Not the best tea ever but I would certainly drink it
So tasty! Loved this one for sure. Nice flavor and a good finish.
Nothing thrilling but it is exactly how it’s supposed to be. Pure unadulterated white tea. Enjoyed it.
Love the subtle flavor of this tea! It also doesn't have quite as much of a caffeine kick as other teas I've tried, which is nice as a different option.
Really nice honey taste comes through. Good value as well.
I'm new to white tea. I bought a sample. This was good, and it makes me want to try other varieties.
Kind of an average tea for me, but this is coming from someone who prefers the lightness of a silver needle over the more complex flavor of a white peony/mutan white.
this is really good. it is like a mix of silver needle and white peony and i find pure silver needle to be a little too mild and pure white peony to be a little too low grade so this is the perfect balance and for the price the value is ridiculously good.
Most appealing taste knowing you are having your antioxidants.
Steep: 3 mns for white lightning or 5 mns for green leaning. Best: Accompanied by melba toast or another bland tastation. Nose: layered & pinelike. Body: More singular & flowery; creamy on the long steep. Aftertaste: Not stringent. Not long lasting or overpowering.
Great for morning, maybe, because the aroma is so luxurious.
light, smooth and beautiful this white tea is elegance in a cup.
I don't know if I had an off batch or if I'm just not into white teas, but this really didn't do anything for me. I steeped for 3 min and got almost no taste whatsoever. It was like drinking hot water.
Absolutely delicious. Lightly sweet, fruity. Probably my favorite straight white tea yet.
Nice, light flavor. Nothing too special but it's good for a plain white tea.
I don't usually care for white teas, but this was delightful! It's mellow and subtle with a slight natural sweetness.
This tea is light and calming. It's a little grassy and really good without sweetener. I'm savoring this cup
I sampled this tea as part of the September CommuniTEA. It was a lovely cup with notes of delicate grassy flavor and a subtle white floral finish.
A very subtle and gentle combination of flavors. A little sweetness too
Since this has low caffeine, I made as my after dinner tea, slightly sweeter and opted for no dessert So I can sip while I knit my newest lace shawl. This is nice, but the second white tea that has a slight ash at the back of my throat taste. Peony is my favorite flower, never had a tea so I’m glad I got to try in this box. I wouldn’t have purchased it on my own. I brewed at the temp suggested and for the time specified, what am I doing wrong to have that ash taste?
White Symphony is light and delicate tea, it is really flavorful and satisfying.
Might be my new favorite white tea. I loved the aroma and flavor of the white tea and how well it steeped the second time. Sometimes I feel like I'm begging to get flavor out of white teas, but I definitely knew I was drinking tea (and not watered down water haha) with this one.
Light, crisp - I enjoyed this tea hot, but I’m sure it would be good iced!
Lovely white tea. I do find that approaches a green tea flavor, but isn’t quite a green tea.
Oooh, this is a beautiful cup of tea. So smooth, light and sweet ... delicious!
When hot, I wasn't really getting any of the flavors described. When it cooled, I was able to taste the sweetness.
Fabulous symphony of delicate, subtle flavors and aromas. This tea is delightful and soft.
This white tea has a very light, grassy flavor. It's very delicate so those that prefer bolder flavors will not enjoy this one. The leaves can be re-steeped for multiple tasty infusions. Overall, a good pick.
While it was a little faint in flavor ( as most white teas are for me) it was still a delicate, sweet cup. The flavor comes out more as it cools.
This white tea is wonderful! Very delicate, subtle floral hints in the nose and on the palate. It finishes his well.
Pleasant, plain, healthy. Yeah, I like it. I wouldn’t make it too much though, it’s a lil boring.
What a delicate tea. I steeped hot but I bet it would be good cold too!
The aroma is fantastic; light, delicate, very slightly sweet and slightly grassy and well-balanced. This is a great cup of white tea! I sampled this Tea as part of the CommuniTEA September box.
This was a very neutral tea. It reminds me of a basic tea from a Japanese restaurant. It is good, but doesn't standout too much in any direction. You won't hate this tea, and if you are like me you won't love it either.
This was a very nice tasting white tea. I find white teas to not be strong enough for me flavour wise. Other than that it was very nice.
This was alright, tbh I just don’t think I like the delicate ness of most white teas. It’s just too plain for me to drink by itself. Maybe if I paired it with a fruity dessert or something I’d enjoy it more.
This is a little too subtle/delicate for me. I don't mind it, it's actually quite pleasant. I could even drink this without any sugar, but I did put a cube in and liked it better that way, but that's just me, I always like it better with a little sugar, find it brings the notes I like forward more and smooths over those that I don't like. But, this one really didn't need it.
I don't like white tea, but this one is fantastic, im ordering it! Its a more embolden, sweet flavor, yet still mild
This tea is too bland for my tastes. I prefer teas with bolder flavor.
A plain and simple white tea that is nothing more than what it is: wonderful tasting.
