White Symphony Customer Reviews

A delicate tea made from tea buds collected and withered prior to opening. It creates a pale yellow, light-bodied, yet complex cup with hints of honeydew and a faint floral sweetness.

This is my favorite white tea so far, light and flavorful. My go to white tea

A great, light tasty green tea that reminds me of spring mornings on the porch.

A lovely white tea, although depending on the price just getting Silver Needle might be the way to go. That being said, much easier to use in a tea ball over the Silver Needle.

It's not my favorite white tea, but it is pretty good, and great to mix with other ingredients, such as lavender and/or dried peach.

Incredibly light and delicate flavor, a gentle golden liquor...this is why white tea has stolen my heart! The flavor is incredible without any addition (fruit, sugar, etc). A new evening regular!

★★★★☆

Mild tasting, a good basic tea, but not particularly remarkable in any way.

★★★★★

This is one of my favorites! I tend to like more plain tea rather than fruity and when I was told to cut back on caffeine I learned there was something between black and herbal! This is delicious and light and it's good at any time of day.

★★★★★

An elegant white tea with delicate flavor. Definitely steeps multiple cups with different nuances with each tasting. Happy sipping!

This by far is my favorite white tea. Nice underlying flavor of Jasmine but not overpowering. Love this tea.

I really like this blend! Very flavorful but still light and floral.

I ve tried this both hot and cold brewed, and have tried it with more than a heaping teaspoon per cup as it suggests, and it always comes out fairly weak tasting. It tastes good, but it s just too delicate and faint of a taste for me to want to purchase it again.

Decided to try White Symphony while waiting for the White Peach to come available again, was disappointed with this decision, the flavor is earthy and not in a good way. Definitely worth waiting for the White Peach tea.

Very, very light. Even when brewed pretty strongly, it didn t have a lot of taste.

This is one of my favorite teas. I continue to order this tea and have shared with others who love it as well.

My go to white tea!! This is one of my favorite white teas when I need a little pick me up

Wow wow wow. Based on the reviews and my personal tea preferences, I took a gamble and bought a 6 oz bag. I was looking for another tea that I could drink iced or hot, and with my iced tea infuser I burn through a lot of tea in a short period of time. So 6 oz it was. And that, it turns out, was an excellent decision.

At the first sip I got a strong apricot flavor. After a few seconds of holding it in my mouth, floral notes arrived. Then... something I can't quite put my finger on. Not grassy, not vegetal, but a definite awareness that I'm drinking leaves. A taste that reminded me of being in a garden, touching the leaves of each plant and smelling their living-ness. And then, most surprising of all, as I swallowed the tea, it left a taste on my tongue that reminded me of chewing on a piece of sugar cane: sweet and fibrous, maybe even a little woody. That said, the mouthfeel of this tea isn't woody at all! As described, it's a very smooth, soft tea.

You know, when I was in my 20s I used to be a die-hard black tea fan. As I got older I gained an appreciation for oolongs, greens, yellows, and mates. Eventually I discovered and fell in love with pu-erhs. But up until a few years ago I didn't love white teas. I thought they were too weak, too delicate. But these days they've become some of my favorite teas. They are subtle, but complex. And White Symphony is a wonderful example of that. This is a tea to be savored for sure!

Not my favorite cup of tea. Has very little smell or taste.

★★★★★

A wonderful, almost floral, dainty— yet oh so fulfilling tea. I was almost offended by how delicious and calming this tea was.
I made out with 3 steeps before I had to change the leaves in my infuser.
I added a small bit of honey (mostly to help the flavor) and a small serving of unrefined beet rock sugar.

Too mild for my taste. Pretty tea leaves and aroma but didn't get much flavor from the first steep, even after sitting for a bit.

★★★★★

I love this tea

Simply fantastic. I'm coffee guy and have recently gotten into Jasmine Green. I always thought white tea would be too subtle, but White Symphony has proven me wrong. This tea has excellent flavor and has a delicate, somewhat sweet finish that I really enjoy.

Sweet and mellow, notes of grass, hay, and honeydew. I have to use a lot to get the flavor profile I enjoy, but it’s worth it.

★★★★★

I love the citrine color of this tea in my glass teacup. The flavor is light, yet flavorful. I sometimes use this tea as a base when I mix in other flavors for a change of pace. Great mixed and great on its own. Today I bought my second bag.

★★★★☆

Delicious, subtle tea. A tea that is best enjoyed slowly with time to focus on the flavor.

★★★★★

This is a really great subtle tea. I could drink it all day!

★★★★★

This might be one of my favorite white teas. Floral, buttery, and sweet springtime tastes; to me, I m left with a taste in my mouth that is reminiscent of how a honeysuckle smells. A tea scale would come in handy when making this tea, as the leaves are large and curl about, making it pretty impossible to get an actual teaspoon of it.

This was great tea to add/mix to few others like herbal teas if you want to add something a little extra. Personally drinking it by itself I preferred White Peony which was amazing.

★★★★★

White Symphony is smooth, delicate and subtly sweet.

★★★☆☆

Honestly, it doesn't have much of a flavor or aroma to it. It's just tea-y enough to continue making it, and it's good for my late-morning hydration. Probably won't order it again, though.

This tea is okay. Not my favorite white. It has a nice aroma.

I've had trouble finding a really solid white tea that I liked that wasn't silver needle (delicious but expensive). But white symphony does it. It toes that line between delicate and robust, giving you definite flavor while still preserving the lightness of white tea. If you like white teas then this would be a good everyday tea.

★★★★★

I used this tea as a substitute for snowbud in a blend, and while it s not quite the same, it does hold its own against the spearmint in the blend pretty well!

Not one of my favorites. In fact, I have removed this tea from my white list as I find it too bitter. I prefer white peony and silver needle.

This tea is what I want white tea to be. This variant of White Peony was smoother and more floral than its cousin, which I appreciated. My husband likes White Peony, and so do I, but I do find that I need to sweeten it to really enjoy it. I could enjoy this white tea without sweetener, which is what I want.

This is the first white tea I have tried. I am really a fan black teas, so I was worried that I may not like such a delicate tea. The color is light, the aroma is soft, and the flavor is playful. It was a beautiful experience and has me wanting to try more whites! A very fancy tea.

Some white teas are too flavorless for me but I love this. It has a mellow flavor as long as you don't steep it at a full boil

★★★★★

I love this blended with Wild Strawberry. It's very much like a tea I used to get elsewhere that was discontinued, called Strawberries and Cream. I imagine if you added a Cream tea, it might be even closer.

★★★☆☆

Very plain tasting tea, I brewed it at a lower and a higher temperature and got the same results. The flavor was barely there, even sugar didn't really help anything come through.

★★★★★

In the packet the aroma is grassy with a little mustiness. Brews a dark straw color. Aroma is a little malty like some black teas. Flavor similar is slightly floral like peony. Also has hints of apricot / peach. The mouthfeel is very smooth even after it cools to warm. The caffeine level is higher than I expected, and is a perfect afternoon boost. One of my top two teas (Yunnan Gold).

Probably the sexiest tea I've ever tried. Worth the price, if you ask me. I brew hard cider and decided to add a bit of this tea to a batch - freakin delicious.

★★★★☆

This tea is very mild, and I usually ended up running the brew cycle on the VelociTEA again to get more flavor.

I bought a sample of this to use in place of Snowbud, which is apparently no longer available, to make my own White Tea Of Kings. While this tea does not really have the same flavor as the Snowbud, it is a lovely, floral white tea. I like it very much.

Sweet floral smell . A hint of grassy undertone smell

★★★★★

Light flavor, very similar to silver needle but not as potent.

★★★★★

Excellent white tea! I had always believed I hated white teas, as I found them sharp, thin, and brassy, no matter the brand or added flavor.

But this is awesome! It produces a liquor that is light gold, with a smooth, almost-syrupy feel on the tongue.

The flavors are delicate, but I get an almost honey-like flavor, with a vague floral note, and something reminiscent of sweet dried grasses or wheat.

This is definitely going to be my go-to white tea from here on out!

Flavor was to delicate for me to appreciate. I'll stick to the more fruity white teas in the future.

A smooth white tea, the tiniest bit grassy but also with a nice floral finish

★★★★★

I ordered White Symphony and Jasmine Silver Needle. The White Symphony is very delicate and particularly nice with a dessert. I like to mix a little Jasmine Silver Needle in with it for just a little touch of Jasmine.
