I get peach, peony and honeysuckle. Fine for a white tea as it is plenty flavorful. Just not a combination of flavors that speak to me.
A delicate tea made from tea buds collected and withered prior to opening. It creates a pale yellow, light-bodied, yet complex cup with hints of honeydew and a faint floral sweetness.

Really lovely white tea. Floral aromas and tastes, but not overpowering. It has a nectar or melon-like sweetness and a clean, smooth mouthfeel and is just wonderful.
This is a very delicate tea, with hints of hay, slight sweetness, and floral notes. None of the flavors are strong, they are very subtle and enjoyable.
White Symphony...Calming. Smooth. Light. The PERFECT TEA for relaxing!
This is a beautiful white tea; what more can I say? It’s light and luscious with hay, honey and floral notes on the sip. I’m a sucker for “pure teas” and this one delivers. Your tastebuds will sing as you sip this beautiful symphony of flavor! Happy Sipping!
I'm not sure if I had tried an unflavored white tea yet, so I was excited to try this one. And I feel like this would be a white tea lovers dream! White teas are still not my preference, but this is definitely an enjoyable one to throw in the mix.
I lost track of time and oversteeped (about 5 min), but it seems quite forgiving. Not really much bitterness or astringency after that oopsie.
I also don't really do iced teas, but I could see this one being very good iced. I might give it a shot if/when I try this one again.
It a light good tea. It good ice or hot, (180 @ 3 min)☕️🫖🐈⬛❤️
Delightful, delicious, dainty tea. So smooth with hints of floral and a sweetness reminiscent of wild columbine nectar. Really enjoy the flavor of the young tea leaves and buds. Such a satisfying cup of tea. The little white hairs from the buds were floating on the top of the tea sparkling. Quite an enchanting cup!
This tea is too light for me to drink by itself - just personal preference. But I love mixing it with a strong black tea. It lends a sweet note to the tea, and cuts down any bitterness. Yum!
How on earth have I not rated this tea? I really enjoy this tea coldbrewed the flavor is light and refreshing.
Five BIG stars for White Symphony! I l love the size of the leaves!! This tea seems so Fairy Realm! Like, a little fae folk would use these leaves as a skirt. Delicate, Magickal, Beautiful! It was my 2023 Summertime Cold Brew / Iced Tea go-to. Adding CUCUMBERS to infuse with White Symphony while cold brewing in the fridge, was the TICKET to summer-tea BLISS!
I'm not typically a fan of white teas but this one was rather pleasant this evening. Warm and calming soft hints of floral and something sort of sweet-like.
I don’t think I’ve had a plain white tea before! This was right up my alley.
I’m not one for heavy floral teas so this one was much more to my liking. The floral notes are very light, in both aroma and flavor. There’s a slight sweetness to it, like honeysuckle. It is also not as dry or astringent as some other whites I’ve tried, and it has a very nice finish. It took me three try’s to get a good cup, due to over steeping, so I’m glad I had the 1oz pouch.
This is a tea I'm undecided about. White Symphony seems the more elegant of the two unflavored white tea options, but it's also milder or more subtle in flavor to me. Sometimes I prefer White Peony since it seems to have more of a tea taste. But then I pour hot water over a blend with White Peony in it, and there's this SMELL of burnt tea-- likely because I'm pushing the white tea's temperature or steep time limits. I can't stand that scent. However, the scent doesn't last-- the cup smells pleasant at the end of the steep period. Anyway, when I detect that odor, I'm momentarily convinced that if I switch to White Symphony all will be well. But truthfully, I seldom push Symphony to the edge since it's not even available as a blend tea. For all I know, it would smell the same way if I were to do so. Symphony doesn't seem as lofty and tough to contain in a space as White Peony which gets broken when packed in tins. Both have pluses and minuses and I want both in my tea pantry. I'm not likely to drink either on their own very often.
Nice light-tasting white tea. The leaves are quite large so it's a bit of a challenge to measure 1 tsp!
So good! Deliciously deep and fruity, although I’ll likely continue buying the lower-price White Peony tea. If you have the funds, this is a must.
Light flavor, perfectly accented with honey if you like your tea with a bit of sweetness
My new to go tea, classic white tea flavor, great for my workplace , no caffiene to worry about since i am now trying to cut down
Also an ok white tea ...tried with many others. Not my favorite as I found the brew to be a little weak in flavor.
Very mild and lovely. I brewed it a bit weaker - 180 for 3 minutes and there is absolutely no bitterness. It's a bit floral/fruity. I like this one a lot.
White tea is by far my favorite type of tea. I am thrilled that I ordered the “White Symphony”. As soon as I opened the bag the aroma capture me. I took the time to prepare and steep properly, and was given a wonderful surprise. White Symphony is an awesome tea blend; the flavor is excellent, very smooth!
This one was a wow from first sip; after a sample bag, I went back and bought more. Lovely, light floral flavor. No bitterness or astringency, just a lingering sweetness. Has more flavor depth than silver needle and Adagio's White Peony; some flavor notes almost verge on a floral green tea, but without the bitterness. Would highly recommend for people who don't like astringency, but want a bit more flavor than silver needle offers.
This is a perfect tea to sip in the evenings while winding down from the day. It has a pleasing aroma, and taste.
A very nice light and sweet white tea. My favorite white tea on this site. It is very good by itself and also with various spices. An excellent cup!
This has become my go to everyday tea. If you are use to drinking black tea, this is a great stepping stone into white tea, the flavor is bold with out the extra bite.
Very sweet and light. It's floral And lightly fruity. I'm not sure the best way to describe it but it's a very delicate taste that still has some weight behind it and that's very hard to describe.
This tea is too mild tasting. It is not bad, but it's nothing special for a white tea due to its lack of complexity compared to other white teas.
I'm liking these white teas a lot lately. Whereas in the past white tea to me was either too sweet or had barely any taste, I'm finding the Adagio white teas to be very pleasing—refreshing, delicious and easy to drink at night because of the low caffeine.
Light and floral with no bitterness and a pleasant bit of grassiness at the end. It gets sweeter and more flavorful as it cools.
A lovely white tea. I unfortunately didn't get any of the floral or fruity notes that I was expecting, but it was still pretty nice. It's very light, so the flavour is easy to miss.
This tea is light and has a crisp fruity flavor. I will buy again.
I was a little disappointed in this! It didn’t have much personality and tasted like straight green tea.
One of the stronger and sweeter white tea's I've tried. Notes of warn hay and bee polen are the prominent notes. Pleasant and soothing, somehow both simple and complex.
a smooth lite cup of tea with pleasant flavor. worth trying
This is such a nice, smooth white tea to provide just a bit of a pick-me-up in the middle of the afternoon. While I enjoy Adagio's flavored white teas, this one is great for when you want just white tea on its own.
A mild white tea I drink every morning to wake up and welcome the day. It's light in color, great iced and a delight to sip.
Nice white tea and mixes well with other flavors. I like it plain or with hibiscus. Feels healthy and calm.
White Symphony is what I would describe as a 'wispy' tea. It's small, light, and very difficult to scoop. I ended up using 4 scoops for 1 cup because each scoop was such a tiny amount. But once I got it brewing, I added some tupelo honey. It's very plain, just a tad dry, and you can barely taste the honey, but it's very good. I would highly recommend this tea!
A great basic white tea. It is perfect as a base for mint, lemongrass or lavender teas.
This is such a calming tea. The first time I had it, I moved to a corner of my office where no one could see me through the door so I could savor a few moments with my mug. I don't drink it often, but rather save this one for special occasions or when I really just need a moment of quiet.
A lovely white tea best enjoyed gongfu style to appreciate the subtle flavor of the tea without oversteeping. I keep this one in stock and frequently enjoy afternoon tea sessions with multiple steeps.
Honey sweet and woody scent in the bag. This is a blend of white peony and silver needle whites, but the difference is more of an 'aged' complexity. It's not as strongly flavored as white peony, but had more compounding flavors of honey, earth, and fragrant floral notes. For the longest time, when this was out of stock, I blended my own replica blend of white symphony with silver needle and peony, but never could get it quite perfect. I relinquish my blending skills to you Adagio, and look forward to my next cup of symphony.
**Update for Winter/Spring 2013
As always, this tea remains my favorite everyday tea. I just wanted to update some new characteristics i've noticed about the blend I've been recieving this winter and early spring. There is still a honey flavor, but the floral quality is much more pronounced. It smells like grapefruit a little before steeping. This blend is better than ever, so get it while it's hot!
Update 2022: I still order this tea monthly and enjoy it daily. The character of this tea has remained very similar over the years so it is a staple in my life. I appreciate the consistency from adagio’s tea experts when finding farms for their tea. This is the best white tea I can find anywhere.
Stunning white tea. Smooth, delicate, and refreshing. Less sweet than White Peony, but still a very drinkable tea. Highly recommend if you like bud heavy tea.
Surprisingly not a lot of taste, I was expecting more flavor.
Light and refreshing flavor. Would purchase again!
A superb smooth light and soothing tea when warm and refreshing iced.
This is a smooth and satisfying white tea. It's a little more grassy than you typically experience with white teas, which is one of the things I enjoy most about it. Very sippable.
I was excited for this one, but it was just too light in flavor for me.
Best Described As Smooth...I Use This As My Everyday White tea. Love the toast notes
