Sipping White Strawberry with CommuniTEA today, I found the white tea partnered with a bit of rooibos too mild of a tea base to be a good platform for the fruit medley in this blend. The mingled fruit flavors hum along but not one of them is vibrant enough to break with the pack. The tea base sits back as well.
I felt my sample packet was well represented and had a few of the fruity and floral bits listed in the ingredients. The loose tea had a nice gentle scent of strawberry and rose. When brewed the 2 level tsp. (2 grams) of tea became a whisper-soft fruity-scented caramel-colored liquor. I steeped for 3:30 minutes at 175F using 8 oz. of water.
Sipped warm, the mild-tasting tea had a gentle general fruity flavor accented with vanilla as a creamy presence in the background. The hibiscus and strawberry flavors came forward, at last, to provide a tang at the finish that lingered long in the aftertaste. There wasn’t any bitterness detected but some mild astringency from the white tea was noted. The blueberry flavor stayed hidden. The flavor of the rooibos was much more pronounced in the second steep. I tried plain then sweetened both cups with some honey but for me, this remained a 4-star tea. To be fair my taste usually veers towards single flavored fruit teas like Apricot Green or White Peach so White Strawberry could be heaven for those who enjoy a delicate medley of fruit in their tea. Maybe a bigger sample of this would give me a different opinion.

I was amazed to find out this was an Adagio catalog tea and not a fan blend. There's a lot of good stuff going on here! From the moment I stuck my nose in the packet to the time I took my first sip, I already knew I was going to love this tea. It was fine plain, but adding just a little sweetening really puts the sweet candy flavor over the top. The rooibos adds a pleasant grounding woodiness to the rich white tea, while the strawberries and vanilla sit over top and reward a bit of sweetening. Mr. Fusion tasted a bit of my cup and said 'gummi bears!' This one's definitely going on the wishlist. (4 mins @ 180 F, 1 drop EZ-Sweetz)

185 degrees for 3 minutes. The dry leaves reminded me of strawberry bubblegum I chewed as a child. The brew is smooth and lightly fruity, with strawberries in the forefront and a creamy finish. Very nice!

I was lucky to have a very generous CommuniTEA packet with several apple pieces, 1 big fat juicy blueberry, and a small piece of strawberry. This made for a very flavorful cup of tea that I truly enjoyed. The blueberry stood out the most for me, followed by the apple, then finally finished off a hint of strawberry and a vanilla aftertaste. This is the flavor profile that I was hoping for when I ordered berry creme compote, but was sadly disappointed with that tea. It also reminds me of Honeybush Blueberry pancake, but without the maple flavor. Definitely a keeper for me. Enjoyed with Monk Fruit sweetener. 185 for 3 minutes.

For the candy lover who's giving up sugar for the moment, this really hits the spot for me! I'm reminded of my childhood, when I used to get cotton candy once a year on Labor Day weekend. This is delicious - very good hot, even better cool. This deserves one of my rare 5-star ratings. (3 mins @ 180 F, 2 drops EZ-Sweetz)

Reviewing with the CommuniTEA today: Strong strawberry and cherry notes from the dry ingredients and packet. After steeping as recommended (3 mins at 180°F), I notice a subtle strawberry/hibiscus scent. When I take a sip, the minerally eucalyptus of the white tea is present with a slightly acidic strawberry finish. This complex tea gets better as you sip it.

This is a very pretty tea! I taste the melon notes, a hint of berry, and the nice, clean white tea. I wouldn't purchase, but it's a nice cup of tea.

All physical ingredients were noted in my communiTEA packet this morning. The cornflowers, of course, were lookin’ pretty. They were getting ready to not be blue anymore. Strawberry aromas were moderate.
I performed a one and a half minute steep so I wouldn’t burn the delicate white tea to the point of bitterness.
When hot, strawberry and blueberry flavors were mild. A mild tartness was noted from the hibiscus. I added a bit of sugar to tame tartness, allow other flavors to bloom and sweeten the deal.
When warm, moderate vanilla and strawberry flavors were noted. Blueberry flavors were mild and in the background. The hibiscus helped to intensify strawberry flavors. The white tea worked with the vanilla to provide a smooth mouthfeel. No bitterness was noted. Mild rooibos woodiness was noted in the background. AND, The apple pieces did their job at distributing the strawberry flavoring.
Towards finish, there was a sweet strawberries and cream vibe noted. Rose tastes never surfaced. A pleasant sip indeed! (1 min 30 secs @ 175ºF, ¼ tsp sugar)

Pleasant, but very light tasting. I let it steep for quite a while longer than the recommended 3 minutes. It doesn't taste like rooibos at all (which I consider a good thing), but I would have called it 'generic berry' until the vanilla note started to show up at the end as it cooled.

The heavenly fragrance of strawberry fills my nose and kitchen as I open the CommuniTEA packet. I brew the delicate white tea using 180 F water x 3 min as directed. There is a pale light-orange tea ready for me to indulge in. There is no need for a sweetener because the sweetness of the strawberries already shines through. I do not get bothered by the tiny fanning left by the rooibos. This is one pleasant cuppa and will be on my wish list for my next order!

It is delicious for what it is. It is probably not something that I will buy again - mostly because I prefer other varieties of tea. If I did decide to buy more white tea I would consider this. Definitely better than white peach - which seems to be prevalent.

The fruity flowery aroma in the packet is lovely. Most of that diminishes in the steeping and the wordiness of the rooibos comes forward. It’s an ok tea. Would be better without the rooibos.

Nice, light berry tea with a hint of rooibos flavor. Easy drinking both hot and iced, but I definitely prefer the white blueberry over this one.

Lovely tea with noticeable strawberry taste. Light and sweet.

White tea is one of my favorites and I love strawberries with vanilla, so I thought I would love this tea but there's just something that's a little too medicinal tasting for me. It may be the rooibos, which I do generally like but for some reason isn't working for me in this blend. It does smell amazing, like sweet ripe strawberries and vanilla cream. I get some nice tartness and sweet strawberry flavors mixed with creamy vanilla that smooths out the finish, plus a light floral note from the rose. There was a blueberry in my CommuniTEA packet but I can't really taste it, and there's a slightly sour note in the background that I'm not really liking. I steeped for 3 minutes at 180° and tried it hot, and I did start to enjoy the flavor a bit more as it cooled. I have a larger sample bag of this so I I'll definitely experiment with making it iced and cold brewed as I think I will like it better that way.

I was surprised at the smell of vanilla I got when I opened this morning's CommuniTEA packet and the hint is still there as I sip at my cup of tea. This is a lovely white with a delicate flavor that has a slightly sweet effervescence to it. I bet it's even better cold but I liked this so much that I finished before I could try lol

This tea is sweet and creamy with a bright berry taste. The berry/fruity flavors are prominent with the white tea taste more subtle in the background. This tea is great chilled, possibly better iced than warm. The aftertaste is a bit less pleasant than I would have liked, an over-ripe sticky sensation left on my tongue. I think I like a re-brew more than the first brew, more tea and cream flavors come through compared to the berry flavors in the second and third steeps. This was the first strawberry tea I tried that wasn’t dark and chocolatey, and though I liked it, I think I might have liked it more if the flavoring was light enough to let me appreciate the white tea more. Perhaps a 30-second steep would have been more to my liking than the recommended 2 minutes. I did find white strawberry less overwhelming than Fuzzy Navel or Buddha’s Dream, and tastier than white blueberry. So for a white strawberry tea, it’s pretty good, though I will continue to prefer white raspberry teas.

I steeped my CommuniTEA packet for 3 minutes. This tea is naturally sweet from the strawberry and vanilla flavors and I didn't taste a woodsy flavor from the rooibos. The flavor isn't very strong with the amount that was in my packet but I usually use more tea for other flavors like White Peach so it wasn't a surprise. This tea tastes very nice, even though it's a bit light for my preferences.

A good, fruity tea, but doesn’t have much of a predominant strawberry flavor to me! There is a slight herbal background with lingering floral notes from the rose petals. I wish the strawberry stood out more, otherwise it’s not bad at all! Was good with some sugar

Mmmm. It smells soooo good in the packet. Vanilla and strawberry all the way. Concerning taste, White Strawberry has a subtle, sweet strawberry flavor with a hint of creme. The combination of flavor reminds me of strawberry bubble gum. This blend needs no sugar; it is naturally sweet on its own. While it isn't a tea I would drink on a regular basis, it is yummy indeed and I'll save it for a special occasion.
