Very mild, refreshing tea to sip either hot or cold

★★★★★

Very floral with a hint of chai aftertaste minus the spiciness. Makes a great blend with butterfly pea flower and lemongrass.

A delicate sweet white tea, a good starting point for those who haven't had white tea before. Do not oversteep as it can damage the flavor and create bitterness

Wasn't sure what this would be like, but anted to try it since we had a blend we liked with it in it. It was good.

I like this tea. the taste is sweet but not too sweet. it taste just right with honey.
**UPDATE** I just received my reorder of this tea and it is nothing like the first order. the first order was like it looked in the picture: full leaves. the one in the second order is almost ground. not a single full leaf in there. I didn't use it. I started a claim/return process. I will update on how they handle their returns.
The company gave me a full refund. I am very satisfied so far with this company and their quality teas. I still order the same teas and it is the exact same product every time.
Thank you!

A lovely open white tea. I mostly cold brew for the cool sweet melon taste.

★★★☆☆

Very delicate flavor. I do enjoy white teas, but this was too delicate for my taste.

★★★★☆

Very light and smooth. I kept getting notes of almost an apple cider/apple pie by the 2nd and 3rd infusions layered underneath the very gentle tea flavor. Enjoyable, subtle refreshing tea.

I really enjoyed this tea. It’s very comforting and has a nice tea flavor with no bitterness. There’s a slight sweetness to it as well, I believe that honey would make a nice addition to it but it certainly isn’t necessary.

I ordered this as a sample and it was light and easy to drink. Would maybe order again in the summer months.

★★★★☆

This is a very good afternoon tea, or a gentle early morning tea. it is subtle, yet substantial, and if I brew a pot in the morning, I can easily drink it throughout the day.

A nice, light tea with smoothness. Perfect for summer.

Ahh white teas - so delicate, so feminine, so bashful, so lovely. This one just whispers to you. I'm at a loss on how to describe it. It's like you really get a sense of how brand new these leaves are. Little fuzzy baby leaves, just starting out. The liquor is golden and shy. The flavor just sort of touches you softly - sweet, floral, with just the tiniest mineral taste. It's like drinking in a soft summer morning breeze. Bravo Adagio! Your selection of whites has changed this black tea lover into a more delicate version of myself!

A nice delicate white tea. I really enjoyed this.

I prefer strong teas, so I brewed two bags for one cup and it was quite enjoyable. I'd probably just order loose leaf so I can brew it strong. Goes well with a touch of honey.

very delicate, this was my mother's favorite out of all the ones we tried

★★★★★

I love this light tea both alone and blended with White Eternal Spring. It is best to weigh this tea because the tea leaves are so long.

This tea is such a classic. For anyone who appreciates the delicate taste of white tea, I highly recommend.

Gong fu brewed for multiple steeps. Delicate, mild white tea with pale, golden color. Flavors are very slight, hint of melon , floral, and mineral. Easy to drink. Happy sipping.

I'm on a quest to find my go-to white tea as it's a pretty new style for me! White peony was the first sample I tried in this endeavor. The leaves are a bit smaller than I would have expected, but have the characteristic floral scent that is just lovely. When steeped, the liquor is quite dark for a white tea (likely due to the smaller leaves I would think?) and retains a floral scent. First tastes are slightly bitter, but soft and delicate like any good white. Where you would expect floral notes to come in on the back end, there's just... none. Which is a bit disappointing to say the least. This is a serviceable white tea, but if you have the budget to bump up to White Symphony I would recommend it over White Peony.

Not much taste. I tried to brew it at a couple temps but didn't get much flavor. Pretty leaves, though. Tasted better cold after sitting for awhile.

★★★☆☆

For a white a tea i found this one quite robust and bold. There was a sweetness to it but in my opinion nothing too stellar about it. It was just an ok tea.

I love white peony. If you're a fan of the flowering green teas like jasmine and chrysanthemum you'll find that you'll be pleasantly surprised and love this. It light, fragrant, and refreshing.

★★★★★

SOOOO delicious, super light and floral. not astringent at all!

I loved the delicate floral flavor of the white peony tea. It's exactly what I want right after lunch or when I need a break.

★★★★★

A favorite white tea, absolutely delicious to drink plain. Very enjoyable.

★★★★★

Very light, delicate, and slightly fruity. The brewed liquor is a light golden color, and subtle fruit notes can be smelled coming off of the brewed tea. The dry leaves are quite large and give the appearance of greater volume than in reality, so make sure that you take that into account when portioning the leaves. I don't detect any floral notes, hot or warm. This is a great 'hot weather' tea, but I don't think it would be great iced since a lot of the subtly will be lost. Great unflavored white tea.

Very soft with a light grassy taste. After some experimenting, I think this tea really needs 3 - 3 1/2 minutes to fully release its flavor. Also, while I typically don't sweeten my teas, I found that a little honey complements this tea well.

Excellent white tea at a reasonable price. Very gentle and enjoyable

★★★★★

A lovely white tea. One of the things I love about Adagio's teas in general is the ability to steep them at least twice and to maintain the soothing flavor. I first steep white peony for three minutes. On the 2nd steeping I do 4-5 minutes. It maintains its smoothness well.

Very nice light tea. Felt the need to brew a bit longer than the bag said to get the full flavors

I really like white peony, and I've had some great varieties of bai mu dan, but this one wasn't really it for me. A little bit too earthy for what I expect, and my pouch had no whole leaves. It's still a nice, pleasant, lightly sweet white tea, but lacking a lot of the complexity and fruitiness I expect. I'm going to enjoy the whole package, but for the price, you can find better.

So light and tasty. Great for a little bit of a caffeine kick

★★★☆☆

A light subtle tea. It would work well as a base for some subtle herbal teas.

★★★★☆

White Peony is a lovely tea to introduce white teas to people who are coming in from other types. While the flavor is subtle, it's still palpable -- light, mellow, toasty, very slightly herbaceous without being grassy. A nice smooth mouthfeel, blends well with herbal add-ons but also very nice in its own right. As with most Adagio teas, it can be enjoyed for multiple steepings and the second cup doesn't have a noticeable drop off in flavor provided you've not over-extracted the first (you do have to keep an eye on whites as you steep!). I got a big bag and will probably get another when I'm through.

★★★★★

Love it! Very blonde in color but it has a nice floral and slightly fruity flavor that is very pleasant.

Light and subtle flavor, but still a very good tea.

Pretty good, but whites don't seem to be my favorites
Update, my adult Coast Guard granddaughter and her shop love this tea. It is one of their afternoon favorites. Delicious, light and very little caffine.

★★★★☆

A very light and soft white tea with subtle fruit flavors. There isn't much of an aroma to the leaves themselves. Overall a gentle, delicate white tea. Not something I would want to drink all the time, but if you're looking for a light, fragrant tea with fruity undertones, this one is for you.

This tea has a very nice floral taste ! Definitely one of my favorite white teas!
