Not a fan of this type of tea at all. The flavor smells and tastes poor.

White Peony is one of the more complex teas I have had. It is sweet, floral with a bit of green tea flavor mixed in. It is similiar enough to Silver Needle that I think it is a better value.

I really love the white peony--it's so light and refreshing, with a calming, almost woodsy flavor. I've ordered it several times and always look forward to my refills.

Similar to the snowbud, but I think I like the snowbud just a little better. Still, this has the same delicate taste and you can't go wrong with either.

Very tasty white, good with some honey, as an iced tea (could drink only this and be happy).

I tried this as a cheaper alternative to silver needle. I don't think it compares really. So if that's what your after just stick with the silver needle.

Nice flavor. If you like white teas that do not taste like hay, as some I have experienced have, this tea is for you.

Very light and suttle. I like to mix teas and this one is good for that. I must say that on its own it doesn't hold much flavor

This is the first time I've purchased white tea. It has a very subtle flavor, but it's very nice.

This tea is great for blending with black and green teas to neutralize astringency! Try it with Earl Grey Bravo and Citron Green--a fun and interesting combo!

Not a bad tea, though not as easy to first try as a fruit flavored.

Pure, lovely and amazing tea that stands alone amazingly. I tend to add a little bit of honey to my tea but this one does not need it. Raw it is unbelievable.

A cheaper substitute for the superb silver needle tea. It's very tasty, although the flavor isn't as prominent as silver needle.

This is hubby's fav. white tea. I'm not a fan of whites but he likes the subtly fruity flavor.

It's like a very light black tea. Amber color. I normally drink my tea unsweetended but I think this one tastes better with some honey.

The smoothest tea I've ever had. No bitterness, no cut grass taste. It has a light, sweet taste when it's steeped right.

This was my first stab at non-flavored white tea and I was pleasantly surprised. I cannot put my finger on the flavor, however, I can't stop coming back for more. (To me it tastes like a oolong-green infusion)

This was the second white tea I have tried. I enjoyed it--it was very light and delicate. I preferred it to silver needles.

Has a bit of a honeyed taste to it. I had only ever had flavored whites before, and I think this was a nice, mellow way to start exploring the plain ones.

if you're looking for a solid white tea, this is it. There are no 'frills' when it come to flavor. It is a nice robust flavor that doesn't overpower the taste buds.

Hard to put in to words. Delicate, with a pleasant fruity aftertaste. Love this tea. I'm a big silver needle fan too, but for the money this one is superior. Great in the late afternoon.

Beautiful amber liquor. slight artichoke aroma. Subtle green taste. Light body. White tea with character. The 1st white tea I have enjoyed and would buy again.

While I tend to be more of a flavored tea drinker, I do like this one for it's pleasant flavor and sweetness.

This tea is fabulous! Unfortunately, I don't have any Silver Needle on hand to do a side-by-side comparison, but I guarantee that this tea is not far from the best - at less than half the price!

Great alternative to the silver needle. I like to put a teaspoon of the white peony in all the tea that I brew. In my opinion, it doesn't have very much flavor on its own.

Very nice and classic white tea. No overbearing flavor, nice and smooth with a faint fruity taste.

This tea is extraordinary. Its subtle sweetness is a welcome and refreshing treat.

Everytime I drink this tea I think it is not one of my favorates, but by the end of my cup I end up wanting more.
